      Ordered a part from Tdot Performance. It was listed as taking 2-5 business days to get to my doors but once they took my money they told me in reality that it would take over a month which it did. Now that the part is here it's the wrong part, I ordered an exhaust kit for the regular box ****** truck and they sent my the short box version.

      Now Tdot is telling me it's my fault for ordering the wrong part, which I did not and now they're trying to say it won't fit because my truck is a *** not a base. The *** shows up as a 2 wheel drive lowered street street. My truck has 4x4 and is not lowered. Even if it was a *** they still didn't send me the part I had ordered either way.

      We apologize for the inconvenience, when an item is ordered on our site we usually ask for the complete year/make/model of the clients vehicle to ensure proper fitment. In this case we were provided year/make/model information from the client and based on the information they provided this was the correct fitting part for their vehicle (****** ********) and see link below:

      Once the client received their part, they advised us that the part did not fit. We then advised the client to check with the manufacturer to go through any install related support since this was the correct fitting part for the vehicle provided by the client. We then requested the clients VIN to double check, it was here that it was determined that the client has a different model than what they provided to us when ordering. This model will not work with the ordered part.

      A return was initiated in line with our return policy for this scenario and return instruction were sent. The part was shipped back, however it was shipped back without any of the original packaging and in poor condition (damaged). We are currently trying to see what the client wants to do as the condition of the returned part forfeits any refund as specified in our return policy.

      I received a part from tdot performance. They are the Canadian dealer for ******** shades out of the states. This part has 2 pieces (stick on led strip and a plastic housing that is the hood deflector for my 21 ram pickup)
      The product came Friday July 28th. The hood deflector while being designed for my truck wasn't perfect but was good enough to be installed. The led strip that attaches to the deflector for clearance lights was defective. It works, but the center led is about 2inches offset from the center of this deflector and the spacing is different between these 5 sets of leds on the strip.
      I inquired for a return and they want the entire thing sent back (deflector and strip)
      You don't see what the center is of this thing until it is installed over your grill.
      I have a picture of a tape measure next to these leds showing they're placements.
      The leds can be easily removed as it's 3m tape from a plastic surface. The deflector though has 3m tape to hood (custom paint) and hood decals that the deflector overlaps. ($500 ram warlock hood decal)
      And they want me to take it off so it can be returned.. the part that is installed and fine.
      The led strip is flexible, 3ft long and can be sent in an envelope but I have to buy a new box now since the old one got wet and ruined during delivery.
      Why can't the company just go into stock and take an led strip for another one and then initiate a return policy with the broken leds I can more easily send back. It doesn't seem like they're too interested in a good customer relation

      I did have tdot performance reach out. I was upset but they eventually worked with me on a replacement part and fixed the issue with the defective part. It involved a little damage to my truck because of removing a fairing piece that was attached using 3m tape strips. (Which were overlapping a $500 decal and also caused scratches during removal that I wasn't too pleased about.) Everything got fixed but I will be choosing a different supplier next time. 
      Thankyou if it was the BBB that got me those responses. They didnt care at first.

      I ordered parts on line which they allowed me to put in my cart. I purchased them on my credit card. In the evening I received and email asking for fitment confirmation which I did confirm, then I received another email stating the parts were not in stock and they would take 45 days to come from the manufacturer. I have attempted to contact them for a refund as I cannot use these parts. They are giving me the run around saying they need to cancel the order with the manufacturer. I have asked an agent on the phone repeatedly for a refund to my credit card. This is a drop ship company who carries no inventory. **** ** ** ****** ******** ******** ** **********

      I ordered some rims on September 7 2021 and was informed they were on back order, A few months ago I was offered a cheaper set to replace them with as you were having trouble getting them to me and I agreed. Now they asking me to pay extra as the prices have increased since I ordered them. Then they asked me to pay almost another $300 because while I was waiting on what I already paid for the prices increased. They now have the wheels in stalk and they still want another couple hundred dollars, They sat on my money for almost 2 years so I have owned the wheels since then and I should not have to pay extra for something I already paid for. I've paid interest on that amount all that time. I would like what I paid for delivered for what I already paid for them. Every time I think it's fixed they send me another bill..

      Hello,

      We apologize for the delay and inconvenience, Originally when the order was placed the items ordered were back ordered with the extensive ETA, unfortunately this order should have been refunded since these items back ordered, but we failed to do so. Over the last 2 years due to the effects of inflation and scarcity in the market our costs have increased dramatically.

      But we do understand from the clients perspective since the order was not refunded at the time, as such we will take the loss on this and ship the wheels they are interested in. We have already come up with a solution with the client and will ship out the wheels shortly.

      I have spent $700 on new exhaust parts and TDOT shipped it to the wrong address (15 hrs away from my address) and fails to take responsibility, says they can refund me for 3-4 weeks. I don’t have the product, I don’t have the money back and I have zero hope in them making this right with the conversations I have had with “Nils” in the returns or there customer service number. There operating as a business yet putting all the liability and stress on the customers for their convenience.

      It has been 5 months since I put in my order for headers in early December from TDOT Performance (Order #*********) and I still have not gotten them. I was under the impression that they had the item in stock. Then it said it would need to be special ordered and it would take 25-30 business days. I was then told I would have to pay nearly $600 for shipping costs even thought there is free shipping in Canada and I do not live rurally. Then I was able to sort the shipping out and I did not need to pay after all. The order said it was still being processed and they had not sent me any tracking info or anything so I asked about it and they confirmed it would take 25-30 business days. I waited a month and it still said it was being processed. I sent an email in January asking for shipping info. I then got an email saying that the manufacturer had told them the shipping date would be the 11th of April and it would take 5-7 days to arrive. My order still had not been updated on the website and I did not get any tracking or confirmation that my order had been shipped. On April 15th they said they sent an email to the manufacturer for info on the order. I have heard nothing since and my order should have arrived by now. This has been an incredible waste of my time and I am truly upset about the lack of honestly/transparency on my order. I thought that ordering from a Canadian company would be a good experience but so far I have had nothing but disappointment. I either want my order delivered in within a reasonable timeframe or a refund at this point because I have waited so long. This was supposed to be for a car I am building for a a trip this summer but I doubt that it will happen now due to this problem. I have contacted the manufacturer myself to see where the parts are and if they where even ordered at all. Due to this experience I will not be using their services again.

      We apologize for the delay and inconvenience, we do not have live inventory on our website, if an item is out of stock we always inform our clients that the part they ordered is out of stock and needs to be special ordered from the manufacturer with an estimated ETA provided by them. We never proceed with a special order without the clients confirmation. Unfortunately due to supply chain issues, this manufacturer kept pushing their ETA, resulting in the elongated wait time, we sincerely apologize for this.

      Due to the ETA being pushed further we had cancelled and refunded the order as requested.

      Today, March 30, 2023, I received an email from them (copied / pasted below), requesting a payment of $259.07 for additional shipping fees. I have not paid this additional amount. It seems that their website is misleading and is falsely advertising free shipping. I have requested a refund if they are not willing to offer the product for the price listed on their website, including free shipping. As of filing this complaint, I have not received a response.

      Hello,

      We apologize for the inconvenience and experience with this order, certain items that are considered overweight or oversized are subject to additional fees. This information should have been stated at the sku level when the shipping location was selected. However this was something that was missed and not stated for this particular part number which we do apologize for. Further the disclaimer for fees on oversized items is stated on our policy page.

      We understand that this was not explicitly stated when the item was ordered so as such we had decided to waive this fee and continue with the order as per our email on March 31st.

      I ordered a product from TDot in February. When I reached out to them asking when I can expect the product to be shipped, they told me they I would recieve it within 3-4 business days. I purchased the product February 1, 2023. Then they told me they recieved an update from the supplier, with no estimated time in which they will know when it will be made. They have not sent me any tracking information. They told me I have to wait for their manufacturer, an issue that should not concern me. They did not reach out to me in regards to this, and are refusing to send my money back.

      Hello,

      We apologize for the inconvenience and experience
      with this order. Our website does not offer live inventory, if an item that is
      ordered is not in stock, we always inform our customer within 24 hours of the
      additional time frame and we never proceed without confirmation.

      In this case we did
      advise the client that the part was not in stock and will take 20-25 business
      days for the item to ship as the part needed to be fabricated.
      We do apologize for the
      time frame being pushed as the original ETA was pushed due to production
      delays. At this point the client wanted to cancel as they were not able to wait
      any longer, we requested the manufacturer to cancel the order at that moment.

      Unfortunately,
      we do not refund an order until we get confirmation from the manufacturer that
      the order was cancelled. This is to ensure the part does not get shipped to the
      client after we have fully refunded the customer. Once we received confirmation
      from the manufacturer that the special order was cancelled, the clients order
      was fully refunded on March 13th.

      I am looking to return over $1600 of product and they are giving me the run around. Their site says 30 day hassle free returns, yet I am on day 25 and they will not give me an address to return the product.

      Thank you for your email and we do apologize for the delay on having the Return Shipping Address sent. We deal with ********* directly which needed to authorize the return and provide and RMA. We can see that the return instructions were emailed out on February 26th, 2023 and that the product has now been returned to ********* via *** ******************. I have gone ahead and processed the refund on the order as discussed with our agent on February 19th, 2023.

      The full refund has been processed minus the original shipping fees that we were charged to get the items shipped to you. The refund for the Core Fee has also been processed back onto the original method of payment. You will be able to see this as two separate refund transactions. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach back out to us.
