On Wednesday, March 18, I had an all day business meeting in downtown Calgary followed by a dinner. I parked at the Preciselink location on LOT 3094. When i paid my ticket I has three choices of hourly, daily and evenings and weekends. As I knew I was going to be late I selected the daily max. The parking receipt is attached. When i came back to my car I had a ticket left for me on my windshield. ****** **** *** ****** ******** *** ********** I called Preciselink to inform them that there was an error and that they should revoke the ticket as I had proof that I paid for my parking for the whole day. The did not accept it and have sent me a past due notice. I would like to register a complaint against this company as daily max means daily max and evenings and weekends means evenings and weekends and if a customer is allowed to pick daily max and not evenings and weekends when they pay for their parking, they need to honor it. I have since seen that this company has a number of complaints registered against them and I would like to register the complaint that this is firstly misleading and secondly not fair and disciplinary action needs to be taken against such unscrupulous business practices.Initial Complaint

I have a disability parking permit and attending a medical appointment in Yorkville Toronto for first time. I parked at this company’s parking located at 155 Yorkville Ave Toronto as closest to the clinic and I have limited ability with walking as was in extreme pain. I chose this parking particularly as has large advertising calling it Public Parking with green P sign. There are no visible information in the parking lot that its is a private property. When I returned back to my parking after 1 hour, I was issued a ticket for $75 (which is an over inflated ticket price). I contacted the company to appeal based on the ***** advertising/marketing. **** *** *********** increased fees charges for over $100 and putting me in collections for a place they advertise as public. **** ** ****** ********* ** * ********** ********** **** ************. I cannot afford this fee. And especially that I parked for one hour in a place advertised as public.Initial Complaint

I paid $15.62 for parking in this lot at 9:02 after dinner, and they gave me a ticket for $100. Nowhere did it say to pay upon entry, there was no ticket to pull, so we paid when we came back. I paid for parking using an app the company advertises in their lot. I paid $10.50 for parking on Nov 5, 2024. In February 2025 I received a “final notice letter” that I had an unpaid invoice in the amount of $124.75. I called the company because I didn’t have a ticket on my car that day and they instructed me to send them proof i paid for parking. I emailed them my credit card statement. They emailed me back saying they reduced my invoice to $34.25. However, I demonstrated that I had paid that day and do not agree that I should have to pay a fine/invoice. They emailed me back and said “ The Review Board has reviewed your file and is unable to provide any further assistance regarding this appeal. The decision has been sent to you in previous correspondence and cannot be overturned. The review board and Precise ParkLink (West) have now closed this file and are unable to make any further changes.” I disagree. I paid for the parking that day. On Sept 20, 2024, my husband had parked near ****** ***** in Edmonton to attend an event at the grounds. He paid for parking, and displayed the ticket on his dash as required. When he returned to the vehicle, he found a Precise ParkLink (west) ltd staff member writing him a ticket. He pointed out the proof of payment displayed, to which the female staff member replied that she 'didn't see it because she 'forgot her glasses that day'. She advised she could not cancel the ticket since it was already written, and to send in a dispute to the company and it would be cancelled then.
I contacted them in the week following by email, submitting proof of payment and asking for the ticket to be voided. I received a reply stating they 'could not do that because there was another outstanding ticket from 2022' - I have not had a ticket from them, nor do I even know where the ********* ******** is that they are referring to from that ticket.
I received a letter in late November demanding payment - I emailed again stating "We have received another notice. Once again this is an invalid ticket we have provided documentation that it is invalid. Stop harassing us with these notices and remove it from your records due to the invalidity".
They have continued to contact me by email and post mail since this time. Most recently, we received a 'final notice' in the mail dated January 17, 2025 threatening to take us to collections for an invalid ticket they are fully aware is invalid, AND continue charging additional late fees (now up to 165.75$). Feb 11 2025 I received a 'collection notice' from ******** ****** ******** ****** *** threatening my credit score over this - they sent it knowing the 'ticket' was invalid!.
Wewant to be left alone, and cancel the ticket that's invalid, and to not harass other people in the same way. Even if I did have another ticket, it does not change that the one in question was issued in error by their staff member and is 100% invalid.Initial Complaint

My name is *** ******. The complainant details I have provided are for my wife ****** ***** as this is the person the Company is targeting. On December 17 2024 I was driving our shared vehicle and parked it in the lot at *** **** **** *** ********* *** **** ****** ******** ******, Parking Lot # ****. I was parked for 3hr 31min and on exit paid $9.75. On my windshield was a ticket #*******, Agent ****. The ticket claimed that I was "Parked in 2 stalls". This is entirely incorrect. I parked parallel to the car in the stall to the right. Due to the angle my right rear wheel was slightly over the white dividing line. This did not impede the other car from leaving the space and left ample room for any size vehicle to access the spot. The amount of the Invoice was $100.00 with an optional $50 discount if paid within 7 days. The next day, Dec 18, I immediately disputed this ticket on the form provided on Precise Parklinks website detailing the same information as above. I also sent a complaint to **** ****** via a form on their website. Neither company responded so I presumed the issue was resolved. Now my wife has just received a letter from Precise Parkland dated January 24 2025. This letter re Parking Violation # ******* is asking for $175:00 with threats of referral to a collection agency and a further fee of $75. I have left phone messages with the company and so far have received no response. I feel that the original ticket is invalid, the lack of response to my complaints is unbusinesslike and their fee structure is extortionate. I would appreciate your advice/intervention in this matter.Initial Complaint

I called customer service at the end of August to cancel my parking plan as I knew I needed to give notice. My last day of work was Sep 19 2024. I called back closer to Sep 19 2024 and was told that they have no record of me calling to cancel before that it would take 30 more days to cancel that I still have to pay for October. This was unacceptable that I have to pay for their customer service team's mistake.
I dont have the details for the call in August of 2024 because I had called from the hospital phone number ************ during my work hours.
Im am now receiving a request to pay otherwise they will send it to collections.

I shouldnt have to pay for their mistake.

A parking ticket was put on my window and they will not allow me to dispute it in any way. There was an u expected road closed on queen street and had to turn into this parking lot there was only one way in and no exit to get out, I waited in my car it was dark *** *** **** ** ****** ***** **** * *** ** **** ******* **** I was nervous to keep driving in this parking lot but I kept driving and ended up in a second parking lot connected to the first and no exit. I waited and when I saw her I got out to ask the lady in the doors what to do so I can leave safely to not end up in the one way again and out of this parking lot and I came back to a $100 ticket. I am disputing this ticket considering this parking lot ** * **** **** no exit. I have emailed them and the response was nothing accept for what is written on the ticket. The person who issued the ticket was not visible to help in any way and issued the ticket very discreetly when I needed their help.Initial Complaint

I parked at the ***** ******** ****** parking lot managed by Precise Parking, where they advertise 20 mins or less is $4.50. This is clear both on their signage and on their website *********************************************************************** I was in for 12 minutes yet they charged me $9.
I was not aware there was a parking attendant on site until after I paid and was leaving. When I discussed this with the parking attendant I was informed that the cost is different after 6pm but this was not clearly identified.
