      I recently tried switching providers from Rogers and did all the necessary steps in order to cancel my plan with Rogers. However when I went to transfer my previous phone number with Rogers they blocked my phone number and locked me out of it and when I tried to ask for it back they said there wasn’t anything I could do and I would have to get a new SIM card. After all of that a month later they still sent me an invoice even though I was not even a customer anymore and I hadn’t used any of their data services. It then took me four different sessions of multiple hour phone calls to finally have the issue resolved.

      So trying to sign up for Rogers mobile plans and then get what you signed up for is a nightmare. I signed up for 2 phones in Oct. 2023 and have called in since at least once per month to get what I thought I had signed up for. Each of those times you call in you are typically transferred at least once (today with 3 times) with a wait of at least 30-45 minutes each. This morning I have been on hold for 3.5 hours in total so far and still counting. There is a huge problem with our Telco's in Canada... ***** *** *** ** ******** ** ** ******* ** ** ******* *** *** *** ** **** ** ***** *** ***** *** **** ***** ***** ***** ** ***** I do not know what the solution is, *** ** ******** ** review all your invoices ** **** ********* **** **** **** *** ***** *** *** *******, and then be prepared to hold for hours several times if you are determined to get the invoicing correct....

      We received no notification that the price of our phone bill would be increasing so to our great surprise our next phone bill was $15 more than last month. But funny enough I found an article when I ******* about it. Well thank goodness ** **** ******** ** **** *** this is our last bill. Rogers is charging us way more money for less speed and internet and yet we are paying more - without our notice!! Not happy.

      I was a happy FIDO customer but when I called to question my recent bill, I was offered a better plan if I switched to Rogers. Specially it would be $34 for 40 gigs of data at 5 G with the normal benefits as everyone else i.e. the free calling across Canada and the other parts of the plan, but it was also to include free calling to the US and NO ROAMING CHARGES WHEN TRAVELING TO THE US. In the US there would be no roaming charges and I can use my phone like in Canada. Not to be confused with 'Roam like Home' that was never discussed. I repeated to the agent that there would be NO roaming charges when I travel to the States on this offer, and it was repeated back to me there are NO roaming charges.
      I had a coworker listen to the conversation and he was also impressed with this plan, he asked if he could get that as well and the agent also said he can. So good plan and I was happy with it.
      I got the contract today from Rogers and what they sent me is not the offer we discussed the day before and I was told they would not offer what was offered on the phone conversation the day prior.

      I signed up for wireless plan with Rogers in Sept 2020. They were giving away a free (cheap) tablet as part of their promo. A year I to my plan they started to charge data on the “free” tablet (which is still in the box in a drawer) and I did not notice this on my bill, so my fault.
      However, I did notice it on my bill today, so I called and asked for them to cancel the data to this tablet. I also have a data line for an **** with Rogers, which I specifically said do not cancel and just to cancel the tablet data plan, I was reassured that yes only the tablet would be canceled. This was a 27 minute phone call. I then I got an email saying that they canceled both the tablet and the ****. I called back, had another 12 minute phone call where I was cut off because I was transferred to an office that was closed. I called back again and I was on the phone for two hours until they could reinstate the **** data plan .
      So 2 issues. 1. ****** ********* business practice to give out a cheap tablet which I didn’t want or need in the first place, then start charging for data on it a year later. And no offer of any refund after I have been paying for over a year. Granted I should have paid more attention to my bill or at the time of the offer for the ‘free’ tablet. *** ******.
      2. Over 2 hours of my time to fix their mistake.
      Their technical team appears to not have authority to resolve issues so I was repeatedly put on hold while they sought direction from other team members. *********** ******** ********

      * ***** ***** **** **** * ***** I discontinued my service with rogers for telephone because of bad service, ************ when transferring from regular plan to pay as you go. This was at least one year ago. NOW I am receiving numerous call from Rogers ambassador team. Two on January 23/2024, One on Jan. 24/2024 and again Jan 25, 2024. All times I did not listen to their script. I told them I will never, never, never use Rogers again. I have moved to **** service for phone and internet. The last women said she will make a note of it on file yet I received another phone call. **** ** ****************** **** ******* *** **** ***  This is exactly why I will never never use this company for anything.

      ****** ** *** ** *** ****** ** *** *** ***** ******* * **** **** *** ** **** ***** * ***** ****** ******** ** *** *** ** ** ***** **  Rogers employees that come to your door selling bundles and promoting bundle products in your area. They advise that you can try the product and return it if you do not want it. Be aware that what they fail to highlight is that it has to be returned in 30 days under a thing called buyers Remorse. If it is not returned within that time frame, they charge a number fees not limited to equipment, cancellation and monthly bill.
      I ******** took the offer, did not even open the box or installed it and raked up 1300 in charges when i tried to cancel. I have been trying to get the issue resolved for about 5 months and everyone i have spoken to cannot help. Time and time again i would get "there's nothing I can do".
      ** *** * **** ** **** * *** ** *** *** ***** ******* ** **** **** **** **** *** *********** ** ***********. I would be fine to pay a $200 fee but no one tried working with me. ****** ***** ** *** ******

      I was on vacation in Mexico. I turned off my data and roaming on my phone. I was in Mexico for over a week when Rogers communications sent me a bill for over $100 dollars for data usage. I have another phone plan for USA and Mexico so I don't need to use my phone from Canada. I was quite surprised to see this bill from Rogers communications. I contacted customer service and told them I didn't use my phone. Customer service said they could see I used data and due to policy could only remove one day of data. They charged me $100 CDN for a service that I never agreed to. I never received a notification saying that I would be charged. I never agreed to pay for this service. Roger's does not try to warn their customers or even tell you you are being charged for a service you haven't agreed to. **** * ***** they don't value customer service. * **** ** ******* * ********* ** ******** *** *** **** ******* ** **** ********* ********* ***** ****

      I have been trying to speak with anyone to resolve an outstanding issue with Rogers for over two years and once again being on the phone with them for over 5 hours and still no response or resolution? **** ** ******** *****
