      Upon finding out that, yet again, I have no hot water for a shower this morning and after a technician visiting less than one week ago, I have decided to leave a review of this very poor product and poor customer service.
      In July 2019, a ****** M series boiler was installed.
      Problems started happening in December 2021 and have been ongoing since.
      Here is a timeline of technician visits since then (which does not include times when I have just reset the system myself, multiple times a day, hoping that the system reset will work).

      Every time I lose hot water and the reset does not work, I have to call Reliance customer service and explain the same situation over again. They then dispatch a technician, who can take days to arrive and when they do, they fix something new or fix something that was supposedly fixed by the previous technician who visited,
      I have asked to speak with a manager and this has never been facilitated.
      The last technician visit was November 23, 2024. I was without hot water by November 26. I’ve been resetting the system hoping that the boiler will kick in but it hasn’t long enough to provide enough hot water for a shower.

      Beyond angry. The fan dead on our 4 yr old furnace. So we have no heat in a multi level home and weather turning cold. Part was never delivered Friday so called end of day Oh dear it’s in back order and maybe mid December. Seriously you’re leaving * ******* in the cold now having to build fire in wood stove which hardly used anymore til mid December. We’re going away who is coming to keep it warm so pipes don’t freeze? Are they covering damage? Or price of trip? Answer they’ll try and expedite for next week and buy a space heater for under 100$ And whose running the space heater while we’re gone. Has to be fixed by Wednesday. I bet they’re all toasty warm in their house Maybe we can have their fan and they can wait 3-4 weeks. I’ll be leaving this company and having a private contractor and They can pay for that. Seriously why sell shoddy product that only lasts 4 years and then not have a stockpile of parts to fix it

      This company's representative straight-up **** to me about their service plan. I was told it was a month-to-month contract and that I could cancel anytime. After 4 months, when I tried to cancel as I thought it was overpriced for the quality of the service I had been getting (which took me three separate phone calls to the company), I was told I had enrolled for a year -- something that was somehow written in the material they sent in the mail *after* I had signed up.
      Once I finally got to speak to the right person about cancelling my account and was told I was enrolled for a year, I let them know that this was an illegal practice. Only then, did suddenly was I told I could pay a cancellation fee (the equivalent of about 3 months of service) to cancel my enrolment effective immediately.
      **** **** ** ********* ********* **** * ******** ** ************** I will never trust Reliance again.

      My experience with Reliance Home Comfort has been a nightmare, *** * ******** **** ****** ** ***** ***** ** **** ******** Their customer service is beyond disappointing, and their ability to resolve even the simplest issues is nonexistent.
      From the start, getting help for my service issue was an ordeal. Long hold times and unhelpful representatives became the norm. Whenever I tried to escalate the matter by asking to speak with a manager, I was given the runaround. I was told a manager would call me back—yet no call backs. On the rare occasion that I did manage to reach a supervisor, they were dismissive.
      The technicians were no better. Despite scheduling multiple visits, they either showed up late, failed to fix the problem, or gave vague excuses. It was clear there was no coordination between their team members, leaving me stuck in an endless cycle of unresolved issues.
      Overall, Reliance Home Comfort operates with a shocking lack of ***************, reliability, and accountability. The runarounds and dismissive attitude make it clear they don’t value their customers at all. * ****** ********* ********* ***** ********* **** ********** ******** **** *** ********** **** ******* ********

      I have rented osmosis water filtration system from Reliance for more than 3 years. During these three years, I have big issue for ordering the filters. Every time I need to call 3-4 times in order to receive the filters. This years, I ordered filter on Oct 22. They told me I would receive the filters in next 5-7 business days. However after 7 days I didn’t receive the filters. I called Reliance 6 times including customer relations department and just would like to know why the filters were not delivered. But no one solved the issue for me. I paid service every month but didn’t get the service. I told reliance if you don’t want give me the filters, can I cancel the service, they said No. I am stuck here, no filters, no cancellation. This is very frustrating situation

      ** **** ** **** ******* **** ******** ************* ******* ** ***** ******** I saw the advertisement from tv commercial saying get your air conditioning installed with us with no payment and interest until next summer > so I did get one now the installation was fast it took 2hrs the installation but there is a catch the installation was a missed they didn’t put it back the plastic to prevent the moisture getting inside your basement plus I have to clean up missed on the floor. now I got my air conditioning installed August 29 2024 I ask the salesman his name Lance R. he doesn’t reply your call and text to give me account number from the company so I can pay for it little by little until next summer so I can paid everything before summer now it took over a month before they give me Account number so I can link to my account and pay little by little cause that was my plan paid everything before next summer.. the cost of parts and installation was $7,873.95 first I paid $1000 on first week of October 5 days later they sent you another bill saying if I don’t make a payment within 5 day dept collection agency will showed up to me so fine I made a payment $1,000.00 again 3 days later they sent me another bill saying the same thing if I don’t make a payment dept collector agency will showed up to me and scaring you that this will affect my credit score okay fine I made a payment $5,000.00 so now I have remaining balance $873.94 same thing 3days later they sent me another bill statement saying if don’t make a payment debt collector agency will showed up to me. now my question is they're advertisement on tv commercials said no payment no interest until next summer this is a ******* *** they don’t stood up with their commitments to me I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO OTHER ***** ** ******* *** *** *** ************ ********* **** **** ***** ** *** **** ********* *** ** **** *** ******* *** ************ *** *** ***** *** ******** **** **** ******* ** *******

      I’m reaching out to share my experience with Reliance Homes and to seek help with a troubling issue regarding my water heater rental. Recently, I purchased a small townhouse and inherited a three-year-old water tank rental. Right after taking possession, Reliance sent me a bill, which included an account setup fee, yet they did not provide a copy of the contract or send a technician to assess the equipment.
      When I called Reliance, I requested a technician visit to help me understand the equipment’s upkeep. During the visit, the technician immediately identified an issue: the water tank is not properly matched with my air handler. He advised me that, come winter, I might be dealing with cold showers unless I upgrade to a tankless water boiler—a solution that would substantially increase my monthly payments, ***** * ****** ****** ******. When I pointed out that this issue seemed to stem from an initial installation mistake and requested they cover any necessary upgrade, the technician abruptly changed his position, saying that a replacement was not needed. This has left me uneasy, unsure of whether I’ll face the problem he originally mentioned. * ******** ****** *** ********** **** **** ****** *** ************ ******* ****** **** ********* *** *** ********** *** **********. When I contacted Ontario Consumer Protection for help, I was advised to consult a lawyer, *** *** **** ** ******* *******. ** ** *********** *********** **** ****** ****** ** **** ****** ***** ****** ********** **** ****** *** *********** ****** ******* *********** Additionally, when I asked for the buyout price, I was quoted a figure far exceeding the market price of a new unit. It does not seem fair to quote a buyout price for a three-year-old unit that’s higher than the cost of new equipment. I believe that Reliance should have some responsibility for the quality and compatibility of the equipment they install.

      Sales advisor told me that all the labour is included in the insurance plan and after talking with sales person I bought the part and called reliance home comfort for installation and they sent a plumber to replace it, he did it in three days which was only few hours job and then he didn’t say that it’s paid labour and he did the job and I didn’t consented to pay any charges for that job and in next bill they didn’t even charged me anything because it was included in the plan but now in second bill after that replacement job they sent me an email that i have to pay 800$ for that labour job, which should be free for me because I have that plumbing protection plan with them, **** *** **** *** ***** **** ** *** ****** *** *** ***** *********** ** *** **** **** ****** ****** ** ******** ******* **** **** ***** ** ** *** *** ******* ****** ** ** **** ***** ***** ** ****** **** *** ***** ***

      Hello Sir/Mam,
      As you read about the issue i had, I would need your help to get this false charges waived, My consent was not taken before I was charged for it. In fact i was told by the reliance customer service team that these charges are included in my insurance and if i will buy the parts, then I don’t have to pay anything, you can check all voice recordings as a proof. The following month I received a normal charge. But then they have sent me an 800$ bill after one and a half month. If i wanted to pay 800 for a plumbing service i would've never taken an insurance plan and paid regularly without missing a due bill.
