      Terrible ******* to deal with if you are doing a renovation. They will repeatedly send the wrong equipment, drag out the install for months and basically make the HVAC that most painful part of the renovation.

      They are the absolute worst ******* when it comes to customer service and reliability. They should change their company name to Non-Reliance!
      Their staff are trained to be ****, indecisive, and they actually do not know the law, they preach like their the experts, but when you ask them to back up what their saying they have no solid proof of it. All they want is your money and when you need their help they leave you feeling helpless, not to actually service anything..but to do whatever it they can do to not honour their terms of agreement. And to push you to sign up to get a new AC on your own when they didn't want to fix the problems in the first place.       ******** ** *** ***** ******* * **** **** ***** ***** ***** **** dispute resolution/back office ** **** *** ******* ***********. *** did nothing to resolve my $398.50 over billing issue. *** *** so unhelpful, *** didn't even have an email that was remotely close too mine. *** spent the whole call correcting me and arguing with me. The entire call was a waste of time. I will have to pursue this matter through head office and my bank.

      Nightmare of experience. My rental hotwater leaked and technicians left it leaking for 4 days. When finally replaced I was told to hire a cleanup service and I would be compensated for it. Still trying to make contact with someone at Reliance to be accountable *** ***** ********** and reimburse me for cost of cleanup. I keep getting told Someone will call me back. Doesn't happen. I'm getting extremely annoyed by the lack of communication by this company.

      Hi, I call reliance because the furnace stop working and the first service guy comes ******** ****** *** *******, he say the board is toasted and order another 3 time replacement board, next day comes the part and different service guy, I was waiting home to open the door show him the part and say if you need something let me know, 2hours later he disappears w/o say nothing.
      Second service say the problem is the wire of the thermostat.
      WORTH COSTUMER SERVICE * ***** ****.
      IS A COMPLETE DISSAPOINTMENT.

      Legal department has no idea what they are doing. Had to call 10 times in almost 2 weeks for a simple rental contract change over.
      My condo sold over a week ago and still getting messages that I owe them money when I do not!

      Plumbing Protection is a waste of money and the use on contractors leads to poor quality.
      1 contractor came to repair my toilet but instead of fixing it, he tried to snake it and a large bang occurred and he looked surprised and looked at me like "wow what was that?" He later came back and I asked him about a tube of toothpaste that was missing and he went out into his van and gave it back to me as he did not know how it got into his tool bag.
      On 2 occasions, the contractors did not show up during the time window, wasting my time and they closed the file as if completed.
      Every time a plumber came, they did not have the parts or tools and needed to come back so more time wasted. Parts were common so they should have them in stock.
      1 contractor said if the toilet isn't flushing properly, just poop and flush and then wipe and do a second flush.
      I plumber fixed my bathroom faucet (obviously on the second day) with a mailed part i received and 2 years later, the part needed replacing again. Yes it is in the contract so read the loop holes and instead of paying monthly, save the money and get a real plumber.

      I took over a furnace rental assumption contract in feb 2022 when I bought this house in ************. *** ******** ***** *** *** ******* ***** *** *** ********* *** **** ****** ** *** ********* I was told that the period is 5 years. ** ***** *** *** ** **** ****** ** ******* *** **** ******** The previous owner locked in to a 7 years contract with reliance from Jan/2021. ******** ** ******** *** ********* ******* **** *** **** * huge monthly cost of $79.09, each month of the year.
      ** ***** * *** ** **** *** ** **** ********** ******** ***** **** ****** *** ***** *** ******** I tried reasoning things with them but they do not want to hear about.
      I am ******** with the huge monthly costs, since I was not learning too much of the consequences of being locked in to this assumption contract.

      I have had an AC unit break every year since we have had it (3). They send a 'contractor' out who tells use the board or fan is broken and a part is required. Will order.
      Next, a non-certified person will show up a few days later after another call to the company. They not properly identify themselves on paper, ******* * ******* ** '****' show up and cannot fix the unit and another part is required. I am going on 3 weeks of this run around, again. ** *** **** ** **** **** ******* ** their equipment constantly breaks, they use external contractors and all they care about is selling you more products.
      I have requested calls with their quality assurance department, a VP or someone with any managerial authority with no response.

      ** ** **** *** ****** has moved into a ********** home and has sold *** house so called Reliance to get the buyout figure after being shuffled around to 3 different departments and multiple phone calls we finally got the number of 11000 dollars on their old crap. We had the bank send the money and they refused to accept it for some unknown reason so now I have to take a day off work to get on the phone and figure out what is going on. It's amazing that to get their services it takes one phone call but to get out of it I'm having to make multiple phone calls and take a day off of work ** **** ** **** **** ****** ******* ** ******* ******** **********  *** paid for there services for 20 years *** **** ** *** ***** ******** I wouldn't recommend this company ** ** ***** ******
