      The repairmen for this outfit are not very good and reliance doesn't seem to care. The billing people have no idea what they are doing, **** ****** *** ** ***** ********* ** ******.
      each month the insurance payment is double and every month it is doubled and my time is used speaking to account for the correct amount.

      Absolutely horrible customer service. Brand new furnace stopped working in middle of night. Contacted customer service immediately. Explained that small children are in the house, no heat and I was told 3 times to go buy a space heater and someone would come out to look at the furnace 3 days later.
      Explained emergency again and got told that “manager” would call within 2 hours. SEVERAL hours later - nothing. No call.
      If this company wants to make money off of you, they will absolutely accommodate and get someone out right away. They falsely advertise “call on reliance” and “we’re here 24/7, 365”. ZERO support from this ******* company.

      I've been out of hot water for 6 days and I'm renting a hot water tank from reliance and apparently they can't fix it until next week... totally unacceptable but that's the best they can do. they say they can't get a new tank but l'm able to get a new one at multiple locations but they won't honour anything that doesn't come from one of their suppliers…wow…at the price they charge and their promise to get the repairs done within 24 hours, * ***** ********** *** ********* **** ******* ********** **** I've had the same problem 4 times since

      I reached out to Reliance August 2022 [a month in advance of my close date on my home] to transition my account to the new buyer. It is February 2023 and I am still uncertain if my account has been successfully transferred. I have completed the move request three times within that timeframe [once online initiated by myself, and twice through their contact centre]. In the two requests I attempted through their contact centre, the move-out confirmation generated included incorrect information [phone number, new home buyers name, my new address]. I attempted to respond with the corrections, however, these were not addressed. In speaking with Reliance Feb 24, 2023 they have indicated that my account is now closed and that I will receive a credit on my account however, I have not received a final bill. The contact centre reps I have dealt with to-date appear to be unable to assist. The last notice I received indicated that if I did not pay, they would take me to collections. I am frustrated by hoops I need to jump through to transition my account. Prior to this experience, I did not have issues with Reliance. This is making me question whether I will use them in my new build.
      I am apprehensive of the verbal confirmation I received from the rep today that things have been resolved. I am now to wait 4 weeks to see I receive my reimbursement. For a company the size of Reliance, greater documentation, staff training and receipt of services should be provided. This has been a terrible experience to navigate.

      I'm being ******** almost daily and bombarded with emails saying I owe an large sum of money on an account on a house I sold in 2021.
      I received no notices of money owed during the time I lived at the property, I received one monthly bill that I paid which I thought was for rental fees for a new furnace, AC unit and hot water heater.
      Now they are saying that I never paid for the water heater since 2019, the year I moved in. They are trying to collect back to 2019 plus interest.
      They put a lien against my home which is normal for rental equipment. At the time of sale, the rental equipment was bought out as per the contract. It didn't state specifically which equipment the lien was against, I have documentation that the amount was paid.
      Now they are saying that the lien did not include the water heater! So they are just now discovering this?!?! If that were the case I would have bought out the water heater at the time of sale. Now years later they are coming after me for the rental from 2019 onwards and a buyout and I haven't even lived at the property since 2021.
      ***** ******** ********* *** *******. Yes, some of this falls on me as I should have paid closer attention. However, they are making no attempts to resolve this ** ** ******* ******.

      Oh hey Reliance Home Comfort. Its yer old friend ***** here. Well, this morning while enjoying my coffee, I found this nugget online:
      "1.5% per month
      Charges for Late Payments and Returned Payments.
      You will pay us on demand interest on all amounts payable by you (including interest) and not paid when due, both before and after judgment, at a rate equal to 1.5% per month (or 19.6% per annum), compounded monthly.

      As of today, you've overcharged me on a rental that does not exist with your ************. 4 weeks to remit a cheque on this ********** action is unacceptable based on the standard you set in your own terms of service.

      Billing date and due date on the same date always charge a late fee, even signed up per-authorized payment processed on due date. Contacted customer service non response.

      We required a new AC. It turned out the furnace needed to be rented as well. The AC was very loud and we had service calls out 4 times. Finally the AC was replaced. We did not use the furnace until the fall. Then we noticed water on the floor. At first I thought it was the plumbing. Then my husband discovered that it was the furnace. The condensation line was not connected to the drain line. The water damaged our floors. The service man took pictures and documented the issues. Reliance wanted me to ho through our home insurance to replace the floor. Their promise states no damage to the home, among other promises , like no frustration. I have been very frustrated. Still waiting for their legal department to inform us if they will replace the floor. Since November. * ***** *** ********* ************ ** **** *****

      Been a customer atleast 12 years, barely used it, but the few times i did they were good, later on i moved and transferred my account ( same acc #) to the new address back in August 2021. I just found out they were paying the old address, i replied how does that matter when the acc # is still the same, the money was still going to the same place, they then say i have been paying the old address since 2021, they gave me multiple excuses that made no sense, they then found out im now 173.87 in the green, my account is way ahead, they then tell me they cancelled my account and sent the bill to collections for 180.00 approx oweing, what the hell, so i ask them after they figured out they owe me now 173.87 to fix this and keep the same account #, they say they cant and have to open a new account and that it wont be activated for 21 days, so i then ask well if something breaks down in those 21 days will i be covered so i dont have to pay to fix the problem, she said they will give me 10 percent off if that happens if i need service work done, lol, i then say to the girl do you think this is fair if it happened to you , well no comment im not suprised, from the begginning she told me my account was sent to collections and my account was closed because i havent paid since 2021, i told her how is that possible when you sent someone to fix my air conditioner last summer 2022 if i havent paid my premium since 2021..*** **** * ** ****, so i have waisted atleast an hour now on the phone talking with 3 different people getting nowhere for nothing, **** * * * * * ***** **** ***** ** ***** ** **** *** *** **** * ***** ******** **** **** ****** ***** **** ** ******** ********** **** **** ** *********** *** ** *** ***** ******** ** ** ******* ******** **** ** ** **** **** *** **** * **** * ***** ***** **** *** ***** ** ******** **** ** **** ******* * *** * *** *********** *** ** * **** **** **** **** ** ******* **** * ******** **** * ***** ** **** *** ***** ** *** ** *
