      Brutal service. We are paying for a protection plan. I have no heat right now...and no one can come to fix my furnace. *** **** ** ****** ******* ** *****?? Very very upset that I'm paying monthly for a protection plan and they will not send a service man out to fix my furnace!!!!!!!

      Customer service employee working directly for Reliance was amazing. Very honest and friendly.
      I would only ever want to see a direct employee of Reliance do service
      They have sent contractors in the past. **** **** **** *** ********** They even tried to sell me their own service.

      *** *** *** worst protection ever it dosnt even cover the main arts of the furnace ****** ** *** for 7 years over 5k and when it broke told me it would be a 2k bill plus no guarantee on that replacement ive canceled all of there survices heating electrical and plumbing its a money grab ****** **** **** *******

      I unfortunately had my furnace give out on me last night. I called Reliance Home Comfort and within 24 hours, my furnace was repaired and the house is warming up again. The phone agent that I spoke with was very nice to speak with, showed she cared and was very friendly. The technician, Dave C. was on time (well within the time frame provided), friendly and repaired the furnace. Afterwards, he explained clearly what had happened what we will need to do moving forward. Overall a great experience and I am a happy Reliance customer and glad that I "called on Reliance"

      **** ***** ******* **** ** ** ***** I’m on the rental agreement the only what they doing on time with no issues or delays they charging money on time !!! Never problems or delays after 7 years with them! They setup me service appointments twice never show up! After called them they keep lying to me! Give me excuses technition here and there and truck issues etc…… 2 days of full stories and no one helping! Once asking talk yo manager they promise to call me back never happened!

      We sold the house and the new owners did not want to take over the water heater rented from Reliance. We called Reliance to find what the buyout would be. They charged us $1000 for a seven year old water heater, which is most likely done its life, to be able to keep it and sell the house. A simple math revealed that the heater cost us $2500 so far, plus the $1000. A brand new one is $1500 (the most expensive). So be aware if you decide to give up the plan later on and buy it out. **** **** *** *** **** * **** *** ********. Will never use their services *** ** *** ********* ***** Considering the above, I called afterwards and inquired what would be the cost for a rental water heater and the cost to buy it out after five years. They did provide the monthly rental cost. However, they did not want to provide the buy out price. **** **** ** **** *** **** ** ******** **** **** ********* **** **** they just plainly said they will not say the amount. ********* **** **** ***** ** ** ** *** **** ** ******* ********* **** **** **** **** ********

      Worst experience with a company. Had my rental tank leaking. Took multiple techs/ calls to replace the tank. They caused a leak on my water line that we called them out again to and they only made it worse then left. Ended up fixing it myself. Missing parts on new water heater and no gas tag put on. Technically an illegal install. Now new water heater isn’t working properly and they have nothing to say about it.

      Last year sometime in July we purchase the Tankless hot water heater and close the account. Now 6 months after the closure of the account I have received a collection call from Reliance to pay the bill. I checked online and found there is no outstanding balance to my account. I spoke to Customer Representative from billing name **Jason Vargas** he mentioned to me that its a account closure fee. When I asked to send a physical copy of the invoice, he refused and insist to pay the pending amount and send a email copy. I asked him why I am getting a collection call my outstanding balance amount which is NONE. He doesn't have the answer. When I asked him when my account is closed in July 2022 why I am getting a Collection call now. No Answer. When I asked him to connect me to his supervisor, he didn't connect.
      I am not happy with the response which I am getting from them.

      We required a change of billing address for a second property we own. It took us minutes to have the address changes for all the utility bills for this property except for the rented water heater. We have spent a total of 2 hours over 4 separate calls speaking with a CR at Reliance over simply changing the address on the monthly bill. Initially, they managed to change the name of the recipient as required but the bill still went to the old address. That bill showed a $35 setup fee. Also, there was a prorated bill for a 49 day period instead of the usual 30 days. This bill was miscalculated to show a slightly higher amount. Was this setup fee for simply changing the name on the bill!? We had also asked to have direct billing from our account and initially, they requested we send an email with a copy of a canceled cheque. On our last call, we're told that they now cannot accept an emailed copy of a canceled cheque and that we'd have to land mail an actual canceled check. Also, the CR would put us on hold for 5 minutes at a time as she would have to leave her post to speak with someone regarding almost every question we had asked. We have just land mailed the void check and hopefully we get to direct billing. After questioning the setup fee and the miscalculated prorated bill, they waived the setup fee and corrected the bill amount. "Waived", as if they were doing something for us out of the goodness of their heart when it should never have been charged in the first place. ***** *** ***** ********* ** * ******* *** *** *** **** *** ** ***** ** ** ******* *** **** ****** ** ********** ****** *** **** * ***** *** ***** ***** *** ****** ***** ** ******** I can imagine Reliance customers not checking their bills monthly are likely paying higher bills due to these preying practices. Their poor customer relation practices over the phone alone are worthy of mention as it adds aggravation to an already irritating situation. ** ******* ********
