      I’ve had my rental reliance water heater less than 10 days I told them before they came how big my house was & how big my old water heater was they continued to tell me what was best for my home, they came and installed it & it has been leaking the whole time, 2 different installers come into my home to fix the leak the same day & then a couple days later * *** ************** ********* ******** ******** ** *******. Now we cannot leave a review on their website or get ahold of anyone. They take advantage of people who cannot afford to purchase a new water heater so you have to rent! Their services are so messed up!

      I have been renting my water heater for a number of years through reliance. I recently purchased a tankless water heater and wanted Reliance to come and pick up the rental unit. I was told it would cost over $380.00 to have them pick it up. This is an unacceptable practice for a company the charge the customer to recover THEIR property. The other option is to take it to a drop off location near the Airport.       ** * ***** ******* **** ***** * ****** their "contracts" have you paying monthly rentals until the end of time. Even though there is supposed to be an end date, it turns into a monthly rental until the end of time. Completely disgraceful business practice. The people that were hired to install the furnace tried to **** ** for many thousands of dollars. **** ** *** ******** ******* * **** ***** **** ** ****** *****

      I am so upset after dealing with Reliance Home Comfort Billing. *** **** ************** ******** ******* * **** **** ************ I absolutely loved the Service rep and the job he did when I called them at the last minute to fix an Electrical issue in my home. He was super professional and organized. I paid for the Service call.
      I signed up for a plan when I booked the service call but then never received an Invoice.
      In late December I received not one; not two; but Three different statements with different account numbers of overdue accounts. Triplicates of my account.
      All 3 accounts have my address. I spent over 1 hr on 01/04/2023 trying to resolve.
      I was assured 2 would be deleted and I paid in full the main account.
      Today I received overdue statements on the 2 accounts I tried to explain were duplicates and was told would be deleted.
      They would not let me speak to a supervisor and even said "I am not going to do that" ie transfer me. I am an extremely polite person and was almost in tears when she finally put me on hold to look for a supervisor. When she came back she said "there were none available" and when I pressed for timing I was told to wait for 24hrs and call back. If I could cancel Reliance Home Comfort completely I would which would be a shame as their Service reps are great!

      Furnace decided to quit working on the coldest day of the year... I though no big deal, its a rental from Reliance and they have "24hr Emergency" services. All I can say is what a joke! 2 hrs on the phone just to get an appointment booked two days away. To top it off, after reviewing the account, I found out the rental fees equate to the same as purchasing a new furnace every 5 years and I would still save money... If it breaks down in the middle of winter, I could simply call a real company with emergency service that will come out and fix it. If you think the service call out fee is expensive, try heating a 2200sq/ft house with electric heaters that you had to go an purchase from ******** ****. Absolute JOKE!!! I urge anyone currently renting or thinking about using Reliance to please shop around. Initial cost might be higher (and can also be financed in various way) but it will save you huge in the long run and you will certainly get way better service.

      I tried to close my account with Reliance after renting a hot water tank for several years, they **** ***** *** made closing the account very difficult. Their billing is not clear. communications are horrible. After all that - several months after I thought my account was closed and paid off, I get an email threatening collections for $40.00 outstanding on my account. They claimed they tried to contact me several times - they did not!

      I have returned my tank with a pick fee paid since last year and just received an email today stating inspite of their several tries my account is past due for $334 about I had spoken to them straightened everything out after returning the but when I called today even the rep saw notes from my last conversation that account was paid and updated and that account closed and this an escalation I had to create as well to straighten matters out yet they kept billing for an account that's supposed to be closed since last year and past due? Anyhow rep I spoke to today could not straighten the matter out instantly but I was told once accts rec dept opens tomorrow she will call me back let's see and also when I asked for reference # to be emailed for today's discussion she could not email apparently but I would see an email within 24 to 48 hours looks a like scripted response I have seen on many reviews I have also asked for an apology letter from the director and Reliance home comfort take care their mishap with credit union and all others to inform of their error so it will not impact my credit standing/ rating *** ** ******* ***** ** ****** *******  let's wait to see if proper corrective action will be taken as I have requested

      We had furnace and ac “insurance” furnace needed a new circulator motor. Was informed but the technician that this part is no longer available and would need to consider purchasing a new heating unit. Had an hvac friend look into it and forty minutes later it was installed. **** ******* ***** **** ***** ** **** ***** **** *** ******

      Terrible customer service, after waiting for a long time, go through a whole process of pulling up my account, I get told that they can't do anything for me about a billing request on a Saturday. What a stupid waste of time!

      I recently had a good experience with the customer service and installation process from Reliance, but I have not received they promised $750 prepaid card upon signing the contract despite waiting for more than 6 weeks. Attempting to contact the company has been unsuccessful. While the initial interactions with Reliance were positive, the failure to follow through on their commitment has left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me question their honesty. I am giving them 2 stars due to this issue
