      Renting an A/C unit from them. I was quoted a price and signed a contract for the rental. My first bill was double the price agreed upon. Contacted customer service and was told it would be resolved. Next bill, same thing. Contacted customer service, told it would be resolved. Next bill, no change. This continued for 10 months! I started paying just the contract price and then started getting collection calls from the company. Now I'm buying out the unit and find out the permit is still open! So I have to get the city to come inspect it. Just terrible customer service.

      I've called and called with no help. I've cancelled my rental and will be canceling my other rentals once the contracts are up. You can call me at ###-###-#### to offer me a discount or product to change my mind and make it right.

      I was given a lot of run around for a simple hot water tank replacement.They replaced the tank,could not empty the old one,told me to get it empty then call for pick up.I emptied the tank,called Reliance and told them that I had emptied the tank so I should get nxet billing date free or keep old tank.They then said that was not possible.Contacted Reliance again and was told I could keep the old tank,I asked them to send email to confirm and she said OK.Idid not get email so I emailed Reliance once agail.Days later I recieved email stating it would cost me 100.00 plus to keep old tank/I called Reliance next day was on phone forever awaiting an answer finally they agreed to give me next billing date free and pick up old tank.If they just sent email conformation first itme it would have been resolved.BUT! Why could the plumber that installed new tank not have proper tools to empty old tank and ask me to do so.Nota very reputable service at all.In total went on from Oct. 7 to Oct. 18 to get resolved.one **** **** ********* **** ******** ** ***** **** ******* **** **** *** *******

      I purchased a ******* furnace from Reliance Home Comfort in 2009. In the first 10 years I had 2 ventor motors replaced. When the second motor was replaced I was encouraged by Reliance Home Comfort to sign up for their protection plan, which would include the replacement of the ventor motor if it should fail again. The ventor motor failed again. We are now waiting for another ventor motor to be replaced on this furnace. After several phone call to the Reliance speaking with customer service and service manager, I still haven't had a response on when I can expect to have the ventor motor replaced. Very poor customer service.

      Calling Reliance for a no heat situation on a cold Sunday....nightmare. The call centre is obviously located in a foreign country as the agent taking the information asked me to spell my very well known Ontario town. After ten minutes of repetitive account details and spelling my name out several times I had to hang up as I suddenly realized that Reliance is in fact the Duct Cleaning **** people who call to bother me all the time. * ***** **** **** ********** ***** ** * ******

      Worst customer service experience of my life.
      We were selling our rental house, buying out furnace and air conditioning units before listing. Full payment was made for equipment June 29.
      House closed August 31. There was an overpayment of bills credit on my account of 946 . It was confirmed twice I would be receiving a refund cheque for the credit. After waiting 7 weeks and spending a total of 3 plus hours on hold for 3 different phone calls, I am now told my overpayment has been applied to the buyout and I am no longer due a refund. I have never experienced anything as difficult as dealing with this company. I was told today by the representative the reason my refund had not been issued was because my address was incorrect, and I should call back in 3 to 5 business days to confirm it was processed, it only when I pressed to talk to a supervisor I was told the refund was applied to June buyout. No documentation whatsoever was provided to me. Awful experience.

      Switched from Reliance to ****** ***** **** and they have been giving us the run around for 2 months, they won't release my account number so we can return the equipment, I have 4 tickets with them they say 3-5 days every time, then repeat the process when I call back.
      They seem to have enough information to continue charging me on my ******** bill, but seem to have trouble locating the number when I ask for it. What a coincidence... ***** ** ******** **** ***** *******

      Billing dept is terrible.
      They are not honoring my contract for a credit and keep billing me every month when my contract said billing did not start until the end of the year. I am a senior and could not handle dealing with them anymore so I gave my son full authority for my account. And they are still playing around with giving my money back. They withdraw money monthly from my bank. I want to cancel that withdrawal until they return my credit for the last 5 months. I have an excellent credit rating and do not want that affected but it is my only choice at this time.
      Please give me your advice help.

      Sold our house and 3+ months later we are still receiving bills for the old house and now one for the new house in which I did not approve this account. We are constantly getting calls re service calls for the old house even though I have called several times and told each and every service person that we do not own the house. **** ***** *********  good luck getting anywhere with them over the phone.

      My hot water wasn't working so I called Reliance. After they ordered the wrong parts 3x, they told me that they'd have to order a new tank and come the next day to install it. They sent 1 man to remove my old tank and bring in a new one. That man took the door off it's hinges, dented and scratched my back door, scratched my brand new composite decking and scratched my basement floor.
      I called 5x to follow up with Reliance. They never called me back. Only sent me a letter from their legal department telling me to either call my home insurance company or send them 11 pieces of information (including floor plans of my home!!!) with no guarantee that they would fix the issues AND that they are not responsible for additional damage resulting from their mishap even though it will likely take them 6-8 weeks to even receive my documentation!!!
      Avoid this company AT ALL COSTS.

      Jessica, It seems the only thing your team wants to do is to reply publicly with help. It comes off to me as very disingenuous...because, when I reach out you, all you do is push me back to your legal team. Over the course of a month and many phone calls and emails I've never received an ounce of customer support. If someone would like to reach out an apologize and remedy this situation, you're welcome to with the first and last name in this comment (which you can look up in your files). But I've called / emailed too many times already to waste any more time. PS your email is blanked out.

      I was with Reliance since 2017 (5+ years). I had my water heater & furnace on rental plus the electrical and plumbing protection plan with them. I wasn't really happy with the customer service and some bad experiences with their technicians. I also wasn't happy with their billing because every now and then they used to increase the charges. So I switched to a very professional company (********** ***** *****). Reasons I left them:
      1) Protection plans and equipment rental prices are way higher compared to options available in the market
      2) One will have to literally waste the entire day waiting for the plumber/ electrician to show up as they give 4 - 5 hours of window
      3) They have union, so if there's a union strike (which happened with me that I'd to wait for 2 months for an electrician to show up for some work), then best of luck !
      4) Their staff is not friendly, they'll always try to find ways to upsell exploiting the customer's issue to their benefit
      5) I tried reaching out to their department head/ manager to raise my concerns and complaints, but was not able to as they ensured that I do not get access and kept on transferring me to different teams and at the end I gave up !
