      An order was placed with ********************************************* on January 24th, 2025. The items were supposed to be delivered on January 28th. I have yet to receive my package. I have reached out to customer service several times and they have failed to remedy the situation.

      On January 20, 2025, Giant Tiger put a hold for $32.40 in my bank account for an online transaction that I didnt make. After several tries, I finally spoke to customer service on January ****** representative told me that there is a glitch in their system & that I wouldnt be charged for anything.I told her that the last online purchase I made was in December 2024.She stated that the $32.40 currently on hold is from that transaction.I told her that I already paid it.She assured me that I wont be charged again & that the hold will be removed. I told her I was concerned about fraud because they were hacked last year, I find this absolutely unacceptable!The hold was placed on January 20, & indicates that it is until January 28.I use my debit mastercard whenever I make an online transaction with them.Last year, Giant Tiger was hacked.A customer gets a notice & an apology via email.I received countless of spam ******************* calls after this incident. Not only is it harassment , but its annoying. After several months, I gave Giant Tiger a second chance. Everything was going well, with the exception of this recent unauthorized hold.I know that the amount is small, but what if it was higher, or if I really needed that money for immediate use for medication, bus fare? I want Giant Tiger to remove that hold immediately from my chequing account! I also want them to remove my online profile, especially my Mastercard/debit card information. I will continue to shop there because I like the store & the merchandise, but I will never order from them online.I will also caution my family ***************** about using their online services. There is no account or tracking number for this incident because no transaction was ever made. My bank advised me to deal directly with Giant Tiger.Otherwise, all my bank could do is block the transaction and my card.Then, Id need to go in person and get a new card. Inconvenient! Please remove that hold now. Thanks.

      Hi I went to your giant Tiger on ********************************* Aug 24th 1254pm I walked into my Giant Tiger. I hear the cashier talking. Is she here, she's ********* I saw a long dark hair cashier lady with Glasses. The other female cashier thought her comment was funny. The 2 of them were laughing about it. Rude and nasty behavior seems to be a regular occurrence at this giant Tiger.The employees at this store are so unfriendly and disrespectful at times, it's shameful.As a disabled person I found her comments discriminatory.Aug 21 at the same giant Tiger, **************** today at around 11am. Big line of Customers ( like 10 people in line). Only 2 cashiers working, no self serve cash register open. According to the dark hair cashier with glasses, none of the other registers were working. But then she said I could open self cash #1 but then I would have to help you. I can't do it because I am busy. I found this suspicious. Because how can they be broken them if she could open #1???It amazes me how rude the staff at this giant Tiger is. Cause when I go to other giant Tiger stores on Thorold stone Rd or in Welland or *************, the service is a lot better. It's so odd to me that this one store has to be this way. I would like your employees to understand that us disabled people are human beings too. We may look different. We can't help being disabled. We didn't ask for it. So please be nice.

      I placed online order for item that was in stock at the ********* store for pickup, for delivery to house and for shipping to store for pickup, I chose store pickup as was in stock. It was confirmed and my credit card was charged. Shortly after I got email saying order was cancelled with no other offer to get my merchandise even though website offers other options customer service refused said they could not ship store for pickup they could call other stores and have me drive all over different cities at my expense but they would not standby what their website states. This is order number Order # ********** and even though I paid $15.82 they are only so they say refunding $14. I now have to contact my bank as I was charged for something did not get and supposedly refunded less than I paid. As stated by the customer service agent, the pre-authorisation has been voided in full. The pre-authorisation should no longer appear on your credit card statement. In the event the pre-authorisation is still showing on your statement, please reply to the last email received from our customer service team and we will be happy to assist you further. 

      Regarding our in-store pick up options, only items available at your location can be purchased online and picked up. We currently do not ship to our stores for online orders.

      My reasoning for this complaint is that I spent $250.00 on gift cards as a Christmas gift for my Mother. We went to purchase early gifts today (Dec 3, 2023) via the GT website and went to check out to find out that GT gift cards are not accepted as a method of payment which I find absolutely ridiculous and misleading as NOWHERE on the GT website does it specifically state GT gift cards are not accepted as a form of payment. Had I known that, I absolutely WOULD not have purchased them. Furthermore, most of the items wanted are unavailable at store as most items are picked through or out of stock. The website offers a better selection of items, but I wasted money buying gift cards they don’t even honour on their own website. The whole ordeal I deem false advertisement and am actively working with a third party company to address the matter higher. I have also notified Consumers Protection Ontario and Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to try and rectify the matter. I am a long time shopper of GT but never experience an issue as such where the retailer does not accept their own gift card on their website as payment. I am requesting a full refund or half the amount of the total to keep the cards for the inconvenience.

      Ordered a table, shoe rack, pair of shoes, knife set, and men’s dove soap on Nov 13. ***** ****** ** *********** Tracking shows ******** delivered it. I did not have any packages when I came home from work. ******** gave me a runaround. Security cameras picked up nothing around the delivery time. I did reach out to Giant Tiger Twice with no response. I did give calls on two separate days and got no call backs. No response or communication from company.

      I made an order online and received order confirmation # and estimated delivery date.The estimated date fir delivery is today but when look for an update in regard to order it says it hasnt even been processed.I believe Giant Tiger to be a reputable business but am less than pleased with the online shopping experience.

      Ordered online from here and I have been waiting since June 27th for the items. They sent 1 of 3. I called the courier to see where are the two other items, no call back. I called and emailed GT, they are so slow to respond to emails, never answer the phone. I have been asking for refund but haven’t got a response. I have been in contact with them via email since July 11th and it’s still not resolved. Just give me my money back! Terrible service. ***** ******* **********
