      I will never shop at Staples again. The customer service is deplorable. I wanted to buy a gaming chair. There was one on display for a decent price. When they were bringing me the chair it was not the one on display. They refused to honor the display price. The next day I spoke to a manager. She was **** and politely dismissed me once I expressed I didn't appreciate being ********. This was at store *** Sault Ste. Marie. N** **** *** **** ***** *** **** *** obviously don't care about their customers. ***** *** **** *** *** ****** ********* *** **** ******** ********

      I have never had such a bad experience in store and online. I went in store to purchase a gaming chair that was on sale for $100 off. What a great deal since they rarely go on sale. They only had one in stock and it was the floor model. No thanks I want to pay for a brand new one and was told I can place an order online and was even assisted doing so. I received an email May 10 and the expected delivery date was May 14 delivery. Received an email it was delayed by a day and by May 17th I called in. I was told it was being expedited and given a code. Nothing. I received an email today (May 22) about another delay. Less than 2 hours later they cancelled the delivery. Called customer service again and now said they cancelled the order. When I asked why they had no reason. The customer service rep had the audacity to tell me this happens everyday in all companies. I have never encountered this in any company so the fact the standards are so low is telling. **** ******** *** *** **** *** **** ********* ***** ****** *** **** ** ** ******* **** ** ** ******

      Poor customer service. The phone is not answered after multiple calls. When phone was picked up today there was no proper hello, 'How can we help?' - and they hung up before I had a chance to ask another question.

      Worst Customer Service ever! **** ***** ** * ****** Placed an order on Apr 25th with delivery date for Apr 26th. Everything showed up but one item. I asked the delivery driver about it and he said this is all he had. Now May 1st and still don't have the item. Called customer service, as I cannot track the item. They said they couldn't either so they put a call in with the warehouse to look into it and would get back to me in about 3 business days. This now will bring us to May 6th with no item (that is needed to complete a job). They said that's the best they can do. I spoke to a "manager" that had no more ability to do anything than the customer service rep. Trained to say sorry over and over but to not do anything to help a customer. I gave alternatives, saying to ship out another one of the product today and do same day delivery. I was told that was not possible. ** *** ******** ********* *** *** ***** **** *** ** *********  I told them to ship for next day and cancel the other item and they said they cannot as it's under investigation now. Their customer service will not do anything for us and I cannot complete this job without this item. Unfortunately stores do not sell the item so I cannot just go and pick it up myself. They never offered a credit for our troubles, never offered to refund the item, never offered to FIX the problem even after I gave them alternatives to fix this. This is not customer service.       ** ******* *** I went to Staples to print, sign and scan Immigration Government documents. When ** ******* needed assistance the customer service rep JAY from PRINT ****** *** ** ******* *** said they don't print government documents. He refused service ** ** *******. This rep was not wearing a name tag and we had to go to the manager. ******* *** ****** ** ******* *** ******** ********** *** **** *** ******* ** ******** Another rep helped us no problem.       On February 12/24 I placed an order for 3 toner cartridges (2 different printers) $467.00 as tax season is approaching. On February 12/24 I received an email stating my order would be delivered on the 14th. On the afternoon of the 14th, I received another email apologizing, and that my order would be delivered on the 16th. By 5pm on the 16th, no delivery. I called their Customer Service, and was told there was a problem and that my order would be delivered within the next 48 hrs. I called Customer Service again on the 20 and once again told there was an issue with the Shipping Department and give it until the end on day on the 21st. I called on the 21st, and spoke to a manager (customer service), who informed me that their system showed my order was to be delivered on the 14th. She would have to contact the shipping department and get back to me. I offered to stay on the line, while she contacted them. Her response, sorry we don't have their phone number, only an email. I enquired whether they were a "call center" or Staples. It was actually their Head Office.
      I have 2 emails from them with delivery dates, their own website says the order was fully shipped. When Head Office did respond back, all they did was refund the amount with no explanation, and offer me a $40 credit, if I reorder the same items (on line) and I have to forward to them the order #, and then they will adjust the order amount.
      How can this be deemed acceptable business practice. They have held my funds for 9 days, lied to me 3 times, have incorrect information on their website, and then after it all, just a refund, with a coupon if I reorder through them again??

      I bought my first **** computer online. in the advertisement didnt say it was refurbished.
      When i got in my hands after 2 times with a delivery delay I was able to pick up the computer at North Vancouver location, but for my surprise the cover was scratch and signal of lots of use.
      I call the customer service and they said I can not return the computer because was more than 14 day I had bought it. But it was first day that I put my hands on it. Now after 10 days with the computer in my hands the battery is dying all the time. ** * ****** **** ** **** **** * *** ******** I just want return and my money back. **** *** ** ***** **** *** ****** ** *** ************* ** *** *******

      Faulty laptop since printing very slow;
      ********* *** program not able to print at all from the ********* **** and ****** Improper installation of above on brand new laptop at Staples store in Waterloo on Ira Needles Blvd;
      Service terrible since the above problem from beginning when purchased in August 2023 last year, but store did not want to fix it nor give me my money back.
      Only advise was to deal with ********* myself which gave no result whatsoever since no live person or chat line available when contacted them on the internet - after 1.5 hrs of trying to get some service.
      This is the worst service from a business which I have supported **** ********* ** ******* ** ********* ** *** ***** * **** **** ******** ** ** ********* ** ***** * ******* ********* *** ** ***** **** ungrateful business.

      Shopping at Staples today I was charged a higher price at the check out than what was displayed on the shelf. When I asked the cashier about the "Scanning code of practice" she had no idea what I was talking about. I asked her to call her supervisor. When the supervisor showed up she said Staples does not participate in the "Scanning code of practice". So to all other consumers out there be very careful at the checkout ** ***** ** ** *********** *** ******* if you are charged a higher price at the checkout that what is displayed on the shelf.

      This review is for Staples.ca shipping. Be very cautious. I ordered a couple of wall prints (pictures). Imagine my surprise when they came totally unpacked for shipping … no box, no wrapping paper, and the item was not even wrapped in plastic to protect the print so both prints came damaged. One has nicks in the surface and the other one has rub marks and scratches, in both cases most likely caused by other items hitting them during shipping. The other item I purchased was just in an unpadded soft plastic envelope. It’s a water bottle, and luckily the manufacturer’s original packaging is a sturdy cardboard tube, otherwise it would probably have been dented. If these items had in-store pickups options, I would have gone that route, but that option wasn’t available for any of them.
