      I was experiencing a problem with my PC Financial money account card and found that a supervisor named Dayna successfully closed an account I had that kept staying online after closing months ago. Speaking to a supervisor was key.

      I have been waiting for over a week just to have 2 closed pc financial accounts removed from my PC optimum account. Until they're removed, I can't use my new pc money debit card. They cannot be removed online. Customer service usually has a wait time of about an hour. Once I reach someone, they give me different fulfilment dates every time and claim my case has been marked priority and escalated. Obviously, it has not, as the accounts are still not removed. PC Financial cannot remove them as per their response to my query, it has to be PC optimum.
      This is unacceptable and ridiculous to wait so long just to have 2 closed accounts removed (that have been closed for several years). The website should be able to do this, or any agent that answers the customer service line or chat. They don't have the authorization, it has to be escalated, and then there is zero response. You can do better.

      Thank you. PC Optimum has since responded and removed the accounts. My new challenge is that I need to have two PC Optimum counts merged together and was told this would be an additional 10 business days. They also told me there's no way to mark a case priority so that had never been done.This is incredibly frustrating and i've been offered nothing by way of making this up. Can you please respond via email? Thanks.

      My PCF card didn't work properly when purchasing online.
      I phoned for help. Customer service was terrible. Basically waited on hold, got transferred, waited on hold, got transferred, waited on hold a third time. All for them to tell me that they couldn't help me today.
      They've got a lot to work on!

      My husband and I had a PC credit card, and we linked our Optimum cards. Eventually, I started using another credit card but still scanned the credit card for points. A few months ago, I decided to use the credit card again. Denied. After checking online, I discovered that our card had been cancelled and no points received for the last 3 months on PC purchases. No notice from PC. My husband told me to reapply for the card, since I made most of the purchases. I received my card and attempted to link my Opt. card. No luck. I talked to "customer service" (I actually refer to it as "customer no service" which began the long string of insistences that I needed to link it online. After several conversations, I ended up with PC Financial who sent me an email stating that it was linked and the case closed. I was able to get some points but many missed and wasn't able to pinpoint how PC determines this. I eventually was told to visit a PC Financial office which I did. After a conversation there, I was told it was fixed and, again, found that I wasn't getting points. (I'm also showing what points I have managed to get split in two different amounts between the PC and the Optimum.) I returned to PC Financial and spoke with another agent. Again I was told that PC Financial would have to work it out and would contact me in 2-3 days. I was quickly sent an email to verify this which gave me hope. Today is Wednesday, and the email is from a week ago Monday. No response. On Monday, after sleuthing, I found a PC complaint line and sent a detailed complaint. Again, quickly received an email response to tell me that they were reviewing my complaint and might or might not respond. The poor service that President's Choice gives is truly incredible. Almost 2 months later, my account says I need to line the Opt card, and when I try to link it, it says it's linked. If you notice, PC isn't taking any reponsibility for most of the cases shown here.

      My wife and I have a PC Financial Mastercard. We were travelling in BC for most of the summer and when we came home around August 23rd, we noticed a new card (PC Financial Mastercard) was sent to her. Why?!?! We checked our transactions and sure enough, there had been some fraudulent activity on our account (6 charges to hotels in London England that were of course not made by us as we were in BC).
      Usually, most credit card companies have algorithms to catch activities like this - not PC Financial. *** **** or ********** would have called us right away. Funny how PC Financial sent my wife a new card but did not mention that we had over $2500.00 of bogus charges on our account. They say it was 'just a coincidence! Ya, right.
      After 5 conversations with different people who eventually 'opened a file' on this matter - they said on August 24th that we would be re-imbursed on our next statement. Not right away as most 'real' banks do. On our next PC ********** statement, guess what...... no re-imbursement!!! Shocker. *** **** *** **** ****** ** ***** ****** *** **************** **** ** ** ****** ** ***** ****** **** ********* **** ***** *****!
      I just spoke with the seventh rep at PC Financial and they say that we will see a re-imbursement for these fraudulent changes on our next statement around the 3rd week in October. So it takes almost two months to get our money back. If I didn't keep after them from the start, they likely wouldn't have said anything nor re-imbursed us.
      I would suggest that you consider another card, or watch these guys like a hawk! Just trying to share a horrible experience ******* ****** ******* with other people.

      This is the worst call centre customer service I have ever experienced. Over 2 hours on the phone to activate a card, being transferred from person to person to person, ultimately with no success. I was told 3 separate times that I was being transferred to an automated system and was instead transferred to yet another customer service representative who asked the same questions and promised to transfer directly. Do yourself a favor and use literally any other company. Maybe you need a new call centre, unclear what the problem with this one is.

      Worst bank ever. They take money from my account more than once. When i have a total i watch the total go down after i pay for something and then they withhold the rest of my money. I just got money but yet they are withholding almost half of my check. ****** *** ** **** **** *** **** **** ****** ** ****** ** * ******** **. Worst customer service *** **** *** ******** ** *****

      I opened up the PC Money account. I started having my pay cheques deposited into that account. I had a bill coming out of this account also. I usually didn't keep more then a couple hundred dollars in this account and moved the rest to an account I've had for 22 years. Now PC Financial decided to close my account on Aug. 4th. the same day I had a cheque deposited they claimed to have sent me an email on July 21st stating they required apparently some sort of document they won't even state what it is. I believe this not to be true anyways because on July 21st I did receive an email from them stating that my balance was below $100 since that bill had just come out the day before. On Aug 8th I realized that my PC Money account. I had a representative from the pavilion assist me in contacting support. His name is Roni ** ***** ** *** ******* ******** ** ******* and could verify this. The first agent told us it was due to not providing a document and the second agent claimed it was due to my "account behaviors" So which was it? What does account behaviors even mean? I was told a cheque would be issued to me and could take anywhere from 15 to 20 days. I waited until Aug 25th. When I again called PC Financial. They had no notes to support a cheque was requested from my end. They then processed the request to send the cheque. I called again yesterday and filed a complaint with PC as during that time another cheque was deposited into that account and since they keep depositing the money and not declining I again have to wait another 15 to 20 days to be paid. I have gone 6 weeks without a pay cheque. When I filed a complaint yesterday they didn't even have to ask me for my email address and the email with my complaint number came right through.

      PCF closed my money account abruptly without a reason - I am in very good credit standing, and was promoted to open this PCF money account over 1.5 years ago. Two months ago, I got a weird email from PCF asking me to provide 2 IDs. With some suspicions, I still emailed them my ID documents on June 13. But suddendly they closed my account with quite some money left. I called them, a rep said I cud reopen. So I reopened an account and moved in money. But it's closed again. I called their executive customer service again and other PCF help lines, but no positive reply. ** **** * ****** ** * ******* ****** ***** ** ******** **** * ********* ********.

      No progress yet. You PCF confiscated my money without a reason. I resubmitted my ID documents, and you reopened my account, though, not sure why you closed my account so rudely and abruptly in the first place. But for the money left in the account pre-closure, you said to mail me a check in 2-3 weeks, and I called many many times, no progress at all. In my account, I see you claimed refund me money on Aug. 10, but no, I never got it. GIve me back my money, or I won't let you go.

      The worst customer service I have experienced to date. I've had a credit on this account since October of 2022. I've spoken to many agents about getting my credit since that date. I've been disconnected multiple times, could barely understand many of the agents I spoke with, asking them to repeat things they said over and over. I finally closed my account in frustration. I keep getting statements telling me I have $1000 credit, also telling me I have ******* available credit. I closed this account last year. I've asked multiple times, waiting on hold (always the message, we're experiencing longer than normal wait times...every single time I call same message.) I finally reached someone who was actually helpful and cheerfully said she would get my my credit in 5-7 business days, I gave her my bank information (acct#, bank#,etc..). Yesterday I decided I would call because I thought too good to be true. I spoke to an agent who told me they cannot issue a refund into my bank as the account is closed, and that I would have to wait ***** days for a cheque to be mailed, I asked what address they had on file, they had the wrong address (every time I called I'd give them address update), but yet again, my old address on file. This person said they would pass my call to a supervisor who would call me in 24 hours, surprise, no call. So I called again tonight and this fellow said no supervisor avaialble (same as person said yesterday), he would process my credit by ******, and it would cost me $15.00 to do this! Oh and disconnected twice on this call. He said to call back tomorrow to talk to a supervisor. Absolutely appalling service. I will never recommend this card to anyone. On a positive note, I do enjoy the ** ******* card benefits.
