Repair technician arrived 6:30 pm on Wednesday,March 8, 2023. He found the problem with my leaking. ***** dishwasher. .Requested payment for labour and cost of part to replace. He told me that he needed to order this part and that he would return the next day, March 9, 2023 around 6 pm to complete the repair. I have tried phoning the company and the service technician with no response. I have emailed a request for. This service to be completed. The website says it can take up to 72 hours to respond to me. Because they are not communicating with me , it leaves me feeling that
I have been duped. I want to get my dishwasher fixed. But do

Hi there,
On Saturday, January 21st, 2023, I called Appliance Repair Expert to inquire about a potential appointment for servicing my dryer. After they took all of my information, they offered me a date which I declined because it was too far into the future.
This was the last dealings that I had with this company.
I called another company on Saturday, January 21st, and on the 23rd, they serviced my dryer, and the bill was paid.
On February 6th I received an email from ******** **** *** ****** informing me that Appliance Repair Expert had sent a payment request to the collection agency, despite never having an appointment or service from them.
I spoke with ****** ****** from ******** **** *** ******, who asked me to get in touch with Appliance Repair Expert to resolve the issue. However, despite numerous emails and phone calls, I could not get in touch with them.
On February 7th, I spoke with ****** again, who told me she was canceling my collection request from Appliance Repair Expert and that they are a new client of ******** **** *** ******, and that they have been having a lot of complaints.
While it is a relief that my this collection request has been canceled, there is nothing stopping Appliance Repair Expert from sending this to another agency.
I am seeking aid in resolving this issue. Perhaps you have other means of contacting the company because, as of now, I have had no luck.

Called Appliance Repair Experts early morning of Dec. 28/22 for service of my dryer.
They never commenced any service at my residence as I cancelled right after I had set up a late afternoon service call with their operator who failed to inform the technician of the cancellation..
I was never at any time informed of any “cancellation charges” - not when I called for service nor when I called to cancel the service call. I did not sign any contract for service with this company. If a business has a cancellation policy in place, especially one involving fees, it is their responsibility to bring the policy to the attention of the consumer at the time of booking their service and especially at the time of cancellation.
Their technician was not even informed of the cancellation, he called me as he was on his way to my residence in late afternoon of December 28, 2022. I told him it was being fixed by someone else and I had cancelled that morning.
I have not received any phone calls nor any invoice via email or regular mail concerning any monies from Appliance Repair Expert that they claim I owe them. But instead, they made up an amount and sent a claim straight to a collection agency and they have affected my good credit rating. This is not how business is done, and as a consumer, I believe that I have been treated wrongly and my credit has been negatively affected as a result of their lack of good business practice. I will be taking legal action, if they do not rescind their claim against me with the collection agency.Initial Complaint

A technician was dispatched to my home to repair a dishwasher on December 10, 2022. The technician was extremely reckless while he was working on my machine causing a number of damages to my property including the dishwasher. The damage caused is outlined below. I contacted the company on four (4) occasions requesting a refund for the service fee; once by phone on December 10 immediately following the service call, and three times by email at the address provided by the customer service rep for management.
1. When the technician was disassembling the door he broke one of the screws in the hole because he was using the wrong drill bit when trying to remove the screws. He then used pliers to attempt to continue to unscrew the screw but while doing so, bent the screw which resulted in it eventually breaking, and leaving the tip of said screw lodged in the hole.
2. As mentioned above, the technician was not using the correct drill bit when removing the screws which, naturally, caused damage to the head of the screws. The screws are all now threaded and I am no longer able to screw them out of the machine.
3. When attempting to reassemble the door the technician began by trying to drill the wrong size screw into one of the top holes that evidently required a smaller screw size. Again, he was using the incorrect bit which threaded the screw head leaving the screw now stuck in the hole. While doing this, given that he was using the wrong size screw, he ended up drilling a hole into the dishwasher covering; and
4. Scratch on the floor made by the technician while the bottom cover of the machine was removed because he dragged the machine across the floor when there was nothing there protecting it. Prior to this, I provided him with a rug that he could put the machine on to avoid damage to my floors. I also specifically told him to ask for my assistance when moving the machine on and off of the rug.Initial Complaint

The freezer portion of my ******** fridge stopped working & I called this company. The technician did not
come on assigned day & I had to wait around a week & after many calls later he came. He worked on my freezer and charged me $370.00 & said to wait 6 hrs & put it back on. It did NOT come back on and when I called him he told me it was a theromstat problem and would probably cost another $250.00. At this point I lost trust in the company & asked for a refund. He said I would get following week. Never came. I did call another company, who were on time, professional & had diagnostic equipment, which he did not. It was NOT my thermostat and they fixed the issue. The first technician from Appliance Repair Expert re-inserted the drawers in my freezer incorrectly (backwards) and the new company told me I was very lucky that the entire fridge wasn't ruined. He also never cleaned the filter which I asked him to and he told me he did. This is a $15,000 fridge. I have called and wrote the manager with no avail. Their site states: "Customer Service is our Priority".. not the experience I am having. I tried to attach the voicemail that he left saying it was the Thermostat but this site wouldn't take the MP4. There is never any answer or call return from the Manager -

household member had reached out to you over two months ago, in which she provided a $100 deposit. We had a gentleman come in, Aqeel, who looked at our ******** Washing Machine on November 24th and let us know it would take three weeks for the necessary part to come in. We have reached out to Aqeel and the manager, Andrew multiple times and not been replied to. We understand there may be delays, however, to fail to communicate with your clients and repeatedly ignore their concerns is grossly, unprofessional. On Jan 24th, Aqeel showed up and took out the door to our washing machine and since then he has made multiple promisses that he will come fix it but he never showed up. My Washing machine had stopped working , I called this company , they sent a service person out .
He diagnosed problem as the machine needed a control board for which I authorized a payment to this business on Sept 29 2022 for the amount of $610 via credit card on the understanding the company had to order the part and when it came in they were to repair the machine .
Fast forward two months , did not receive any communication as to the part came in or any timeline update whatsoever .
Contacted my Credit card provider , explained situation and they reversed the money back to me as of Dec 6 2022 pending a investigation on suspected fraud .
Well fast forward once again , the Credit card provider as told from Appliance Repair company there is no fraud and that I authorized the charge .
As of this writing my Credit card provider has sided in the accused favor and reversed the $610 charge back to me .
I have received nothing in return for the money from the company other than a diagnosis of something I already knew about my washing machine not working .Initial Complaint

I was quoted $650 to replace the control panel on my washing machine. I paid a $180 deposit and the technician told me it would take a week for the part to come in. A week went by, and I didn’t receive any updates. I finally reached out and he told me it will be another week. Another week went by and still no updates, so I had to reach out again to schedule the repair. He says the part he brought to install is defective and now he’s telling me it will be TWO MONTHS for the repair. I’ve been able to find the part in stock in Calgary and available online to order, so this delay makes no sense. I have called and emailed and texted the company and there’s no response. No refund for the deposit has been given, they are just holding my deposit hostage and expecting me to go without a washing machine for two months.Initial Complaint

Appliance- -clothes dryer- - repair done 24 Nov 2022. Invoice #***** amount $361.60. An idler arm and belt were replaced. About 7-10 days after the repair the problem- - a loud noise and vibration at times during the drying cycle- - reappeared. I contacted the company and was told the repair technician- - Parviz C.- - would contact me. This did not happen. Subsequent calls with messages left and an email have not been returned. I booked and appointment on the 24th of December and tried to call them several times on the 25th to cancel with no answer. The appointment was booked for the 26th. The next morning I tried to confirm with the technician that it was cancelled and he said that I was cancelling without proper notice. I tried to explain to him that I attempted to cancel. Nothing was sent further from them, including no invoice for cancelling. Fast forward to this morning, I get a call from a collections agency. I have had absolutely no correspondence from the company and now due to their poor mishandling, I am having issues with credit companies. They will not answer their phones and won’t get back to me
