On 8/12/2024, **** from Appliance Repair Experts charged me 824 dollars for a future refrigerator repair service. He never came for the repair. He finally called, said he was sorry and would pay us in full, of 824 dollars within 2 weeks. It's over 3 weeks now. I was asked for dishwasher/ icemaker repair they came on July 29th charged me for $656.65 they repair dishwasher in no time no opening the engine or use any part for $245 the new is under $400 which was ok with me they were told me that the ice maker needed water valve and according to the receipt charged me for $197 for part (I research and water valve in ****** is $10) and 129 for diagnose and they said when we come back you will be charge I paid $326 for fridge so far they called and came but they said the part is wrong and they were gone to get the new part I was called on Friday 24th again to come and I agree but no one showed up and no message why or when they come i was thinking and complained to them I was asked to contact manager which I didn’t get any answer they phone number never been answered too and if they like they call later which again another problem with this company so my complain in short is over charged, no customer service and no time efficient as wellInitial Complaint

We hired this company to fix our ***** dishwasher. They replaced a part, but immediately afterwards, we started getting an another error code. They came out to look at it and said it looked fine. We continued to have problems and they said it needs another part. I texted them to go ahead and order, but I never heard back from them. I texted and called and no one responded. The other problem is they never supplied us with a description of the service provided or receipt. Part of that is on me, but I called and texted to get a service description with no response. I would like to have that as I’m hiring someone else to finish the repairs.Initial Complaint

We contacted Appliance Repair a few weeks ago to come and look at our refrigerator that was no longer staying cold. The repairman said that the problem was that the fridge needed a new computer board. the part had to be ordered and would be 3-6 days for it to arrive at which time we would return and install it. I agreed to pay a deposit on the part. He returned on Aug 24th with the new board and installed it. He told me that everything was working and I paid the remainder of the cost. He then left. The fridge still does not work. I called the company today and they told me that the problem is the compressor on the fridge is the problem and it will cost $1,400.00 for the part plus labor to fix it. I asked why the repairman did not tell me that when he was at my house and was told that the repairman wrote compressor on the second invoice and I should have figured that out myself. A new refrigerator will be less expensive than the repair and I believe that the repairman is either *********** or was deliberately trying to take more money from me. either case I would like my money back and I believe this company has deliberately misled me.Initial Complaint

We were told our dishwasher could be repaired. We were asked to pay Labour up front and part would be ordered.
We did. No part received. Numerous calls, excuses, hang ups

Aug. 12, 2024 Appliance repair Experts came to fix my ***** dishwasher. They said a drain pump was needed and installed this. Dishwasher still did not work so technician said he had to order a heater relay. The part they used was not a real ***** part, as they use German parts and the box said made in PRC. A bill of $1035 was issued and 70 % was paid on ****. The balance to be paid upon completion. This is a week ago and numerous calls to the company went unanswered.

The technician came to the house to repair ** washing machine on 11.08.2024. Inserted agitator, claimed that it is fixed. After he left - we started the washing cycle and the agitator got disconnected again, nothing was fixed. Contacted the company, nobody came. I Called this company and asked to have a technician diagnose my fridge because the freezer is not defrosting.
The technician came the first time on August 6, 2024 and told me I had to defrost the freezer for him to remove a panel. I did and he came back the next day and told me I needed 2 parts for my fridge. One part costs $419. 29 and the other $70.59. However, the company will not tell me what parts these are. I paid $148. 35 for the diagnostic inspection of my fridge and I want to know exactly what parts are needed to repair my fridge. Also, I was quoted 6 hours for the repair. I would like the business I hired to give me the information I paid them for. The 2 parts required to fix my fridge.

Reached out to this company initially because we had an issue with our fridge pooling water.
Tech fixed this problem but in doing so broke the bracket for the fan so had to replace the fan & bracket. After this work was completed the fridge stopped cooling altogether. The tech came back and assured us that the fridge would cool again just give it a couple of days.
Fridge temp is now 17degrees Celcius. We have had to throw out food twice because of this issue.
Reached out to the company to have this corrected and the tech who serviced us is now out of the country until August 21. If we want it fixed sooner than that they can send another tech but it will cost me (this is after trying to email them twice, not getting a response, calling multiple times and having a frustrating conversation with the manager).
So now we have a fridge that does not work and must wait for 2 weeks or pay extra to have another tech come to correct the issue that the initial tech created.
We are already over $400 in and at this point could have just purchased a new fridge, which we may have to do now anyways because we can't go 2 more weeks without a functioning fridge.Initial Complaint

I had a repair person from Appliance Repair Expert come to my house to assess my oven which was and is not working. I was charged for the visit and to order the part. My credit card was charged a total of 515.20 in two separate payments one on March 11, 2024 and again on March 15, 2024. Nothing was done following that. I sent an email on July 22, 2024. And today, July 31, 2024, I called them. I was told they left messages (they did not) and that they emailed (they did not). They also said they returned the part because they did not hear from me but that they would not refund me any money. When I looked on line it seems like this company is known for this behaviour. I didn’t check beforehand which I obviously now regret.
