Avoid this group at all costs. They broke our glass stovetop and have refused to take responsibility or offer any compensation for the damage. Completely unprofessional and one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. I would give them zero stars if I could.
      Here is the experience…
      My ***** **** September 8th
**** *** ****** ** **** ** * I called for repair service for our stove which had a broken power potentiometer, a repairman was scheduled to fix it on Aug 16.
      • Aug 16 – Repairman Tom did not arrive within the agreed upon scheduled window. I got a call later apologizing for the missed call. We rescheduled for Aug 19.
      • Aug 19 – Repairman Tom pulled out the stove and broke the stove top in the process. The repair to the potentiometer was made. Tom said he was going to get back to me within the next day or two to repair the stove top glass that he broke; No call was received from Tom.
      • Aug 22 – I called your office, was told that he would get Tom to call me back; No call was received from Tom.
      • Aug 28 – I called your office, spoke to Benjamin to complain about the lack of movement to replace the broken glass stove top at your cost. Benjamin said he would investigate and call me back. I asked that my case be escalated to the manager, which is you Mr. *****, Benjamin said he would forward our case; No call was received from Tom or Benjamin. No call was received from you either Mr. Smith.
      • Aug 29 – I called Tom, he said he was sourcing the parts and would get back to me in the next day or two; No call was received from Tom, Benjamin or from you either Mr. *****.
      • Sept 5 – Called Tom this morning, he did not pick up the call.
I am done chasing your company to replace the glass stove top your serviceman broke.

We called Appliance Repair Experts for an estimate for fixing our washer machine and were told that for roughly $90, they could assess our machine and tell us if it was worth repairing. After a short (less than 2 minutes assessment), the repair agent convinced us our machine was repairable and worth fixing. The washer machine was part of a recent home purchase. We were told that a door lock was 280 dollars and labour would bring the repair to 500 dollars. On a second visit lasting less than 15 minutes, the door lock was replaced, and we were informed the motherboard was shot and they could no longer order one. They insisted that they earned the 280-dollar down payment for misdiagnosing the repair, and we were wrong to ask for a refund. I inquired with three other appliance stores and researched online ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ if there was a simple check to see if a motherboard is broken, YES there is. The repair agent was dishonest, ************** and outright **** to us. We will never call them again.

**** *** * ***** * *** ***** *** $400 for nothing. **** * ***** ***** ***** ******* The response for service was prompt and the people are kind, but it all ends there. On August 19th, 2024, the service person cleaned our dryer (no different than what I had already done), but he could not resolve the issue that the condensation dryer was not draining.
I was never provided a quote for service as stated in their policy.
As he was leaving he asked who was paying; I stated that I was paying and not my landlord. He billed me for "fixing the control board" and told me to bill my landlord. As a woman on her own, I was not about to put up a fuss for safety's sake; however, there's no such thing as "fixing" a control board.
      After a few phone calls and emails to the company (I only got through by phone once), they ignored all pleas for a refund and that the charges were a hoax. **** ** ******** ** *** **** ****** ********** ***** ********* *** **** **** *** **** ******* ******* ** ****** ** ***** ** *******

I am writing to inform you of a terrible experience my wife and I have had recently.
Back in June we had some issues with our ****** Freezer , my wife placed a service call to Appliance repair experts.
Their technician , Paul was sent out and we paid the charge for him to come out and do a diagnostic of the freezer issue. This was $322.00.
Paul informed us that we needed a new ice maker. Paul specifically instructed my wife to e transfer his company , *** Appliance , $425.60 and said he would install a new ice maker for us.
The ice maker was completely faulty , and Paul told my wife that sometimes these ice makers are faulty and if this happened, he would replace the faulty one for a functioning one.
Now Paul does not return any of our calls and we now have a freezer with a faulty ice maker and we have paid $750.00. We found out that he does not work there any more.
We feel like we have been ****** *** and while we could just request a refund from their company , what we ultimately would like is a functioning ice maker for our ****** freezer.
we tried to reach out to the appliance repair experts by phone , the man on the phone told me to email the manager . it has now been 2 weeks and we haven't even received a response.

On July 8,2024 “Appliance Repair Expert” technicians responded to our request for diagnostics and repair to our ** fridge/freezer which had stopped cooling although the compressor could heard running. As a precaution we unplugged and emptied the fridge. When the technicians arrived, the fridge was plugged back in. Parveen listened to the fridge for about 1 minute (no tools were used and no disassembly) and said that the Freon had leaked out and unfortunately they were not qualified to deal with that problem; but he would contact his office and they would arrange for qualified technician to attend. He said that the cost of the service call (paid by **** $144.48 taxes in) would be deducted from the cost of the repair as per the terms of the Diagnosis and Repair quote and that the office would get back to us shortly to schedule the repair. After about 1 hour, I called the office and was told that both Freon techs had been fired and we would need to find someone else to do the repairs.
Eventually we found a technician from a different company who was qualified to do repairs including Freon replenishment. He inspected the compressor control board and the compressor and determined that the compressor had failed and needed replacement. While removing the old compressor he found that the Freon was fully charged and therefore had not been leaking.
Needless to say “Appliance Expert” diagnosis was based on haphazard and brief observation and was incorrect. It took longer generate and accept payment of the invoice. Since "Appliance Expert" did not perform any meaningful diagnostics was not able to fulfill their part of the agreement (i.e. - provide repairs) I requested reimbursement of the $144.48 service fee on July 9 and again on July 21 and have not had a response. I think this is a scam to charge for the diagnostics service call with no intention of actually doing the repair that could have the initial service call charge deducted from the total cost of the repair.

********* ** ****** ‘technicians have no idea what they are doing, yet charge for repairs, that are not needed using cheapest materials. When you call them with complaints that problem was not resolved, block your phone, but pick up right away if calling from different one, that they block right after.

After having trouble with our washing machine not draining, the guy showed up and said we needed a new pump and he would be back on Tuesday or Wednesday. After hearing nothing back and nobody answering our calls we resorted to putting in a request for service. They, of course, called us back. We asked when we could expect our technician and we were told that they would look into it. We never heard back and they were a no show. They got our 150$ and ran. ***** **** *** ********* * will be going forward with taking them to small claims court on principal. ** * ***** **** **** * ***** ****** * ******

The guy showed up on time Thursday afternoon, but did not know any more about a dishwasher that I did. He left the unit half apart in the middle of the kitchen and said he would be back with a new discharge pump and not charge any more labor to put it in. He did no tests to determine that it would fix the issue. We paid him almost 300 bucks. I texted and asked for price and delivery of the part. Late Friday afternoon he responded that he did not know the price or delivery yet, and would get back to us Monday. On Monday at 5:30 pm, he reported that the part would be "about 200$ plus shipping". No mention of how much shipping would be nor when we could get it installed. He did nothing but leave a disassembled dishwasher in the middle of the kitchen.

Diagnosed my fridge saying its the compressor. Paid deposit. They fixed my fridge without needing the compressor and now they want 30% restocking fee from a diagnosis they did.
