They replace parts that don't need to be replaced, and they do not test anything before making as assessment of the repair. The customer service was **** and I can't believe we have to go thru this ordeal in 2024.

They were quick to get a tech to my house. The tech took 5 minutes max to diagnose my stove. He then told me I needed a new ignitor and it would be $610. He provided no break down or details. I thought it was high, however I have no experience with stoves. When I saw the invoice it was $285 for labour. He was there max 20 minutes. And $310 for the part. I can buy the same part online for $160. I tried calling them to complain and all they could offer was a $30 discount for a new customer. I got no rationale as to why the labour or part were as high as they were. I was told to email their manager and still have not heard back. ***** *** **** *****

We had a repair done on our ***** dishwasher in December and now 6 months later it is having the exact same problem. New part was installed in December for $500. I called to ask for help and I got stonewalled by someone who "just works there" and told me they only warrant repairs for 90 days. The technician told me that I could expect another 4-5 years out of the dishwasher with the new part. * **** ********** ****** **** I would never recommend a company like this.

Very hard to deal with. They were quick to call me back and book an appointment but it was almost impossible to talk to them after that. After I finally heard from the tech and got my dishwasher diagnosed, I was sent an invoice that only had a total charge with no break down. I had to chase them down to get a detailed invoice. After seeing the detailed invoice I know why they try to hide it, $250 for a part that I found at **** ***** for $70. They also did not reinstall my dishwasher correctly so it now moves every time I open the door. I let the company know but have not heard back. Overall this was a terrible ******* to deal with and I wish I just bought a new dishwasher and avoided this company all together.

I had intended to book a local service that i had used before. I made the mistake of booking on line with Appliance Repair Experts Service not realising that this company inserts itself into the website you thought you were booking and answers your request. I ended up with a different local company doing the service. That service was great but I now know that Appliance Repair Experts are only subcontractors not repair experts and they are subcontracting in a way that pays your local company a lower rate and keeps a percentage for themselves.
Local companies are suffering from this. In future, I will make sure I phone the local company I want directly and not use a phony on line booking page. Beware of Appliance Repair Experts.

I just had a horrible experience with Applian Repair Expert, ***** **** ** **** ** ********* *** *** ******** *** ******** ******* **** ** ** ***** ********* ****** ******* ***** ******** * **** ****** ** *** ******* ** ***** *** ******** ***** **** ****** ***** The whole story with the technician *** ** **********. Even though I want to move on from the bad feeling about them, the technician's behavior was dishonest, and his excuses for not bringing the necessary control board (I paid the deposit for the main control board and the second control board, but he only brought the second control board with him) to fix my refrigerator were ridiculous.
He told me he replaced the defrost thermostat, for which I also paid a deposit, for my small refrigerator. When I asked him where the old defrost thermostat was, he pointed to a brand new one. I asked him why it was brand new, and he told me he brought two defrost thermostats. Then he got mad at me for asking him where the old part was. The whole process of repairing my refrigerators was so weird. Before his arrival, my main refrigerator was still cooling, although it had an error code. It stopped working and could not even be turned on anymore after he tried to fix it and before he left. So I had to buy a brand new refrigerator. The whole procedure of dealing with the technician was time-consuming and a headache for me, totally wasting my time and energy and making me exhausted.

I live in the Greater Vancouver area in British Columbia. I recently had my dryer serviced by a technician **** ***** ** **** ********* *** *** **** ******* ** ******* *** ****** ***** ******* ***** ****** ** ******** **** *** ** ******** **** ******* *** ******** My dryer was initially checked on April 8th 2024 and the tech did not have the parts. He said that he needed to order them. He returned the next day with the parts and repaired the dryer in about 30 minutes. I had to make two payments of 268 dollars each for the service and another 268 dollars for the parts. One payment was on the credit card and the other part I paid by cheque. He told me that the parts came to the same amount as the labor charges. I told him that the price sounds a little high and asked the technician to prove the amounts that was being billed to me. He told me he will provide a receipt and that he was saving me about 100 dollars by charging me separately for the parts and the labor. The day after I called the phone number to the dispatch office and talked to an agent. The office said that the company doesn't accept cheques and that the parts for my dryer was only about 60 dollars. I asked how much they charge by rates per hour. As soon as I did I then got disconnected. I have been trying to call back and each time it seems like when some one picks up the phone it hangs up before I can say hello..............I will leave you to decide if they deserve your business. Never again for me!

Apparently your company is not even going to refund my money. The repair man to fix my stove was a no-show. Nevertheless during the time window when the repairman should have attended, I received an emailed receipt indicating the repairman had attended at my address, fixed the problem and that I had paid $320 by ****. The **** number was not mine. I called the company, they said they would investigate and get back to me. I heard nothing further. ** *** **** **** ********
