Fell prey to a fishing **** email in November 2022, but reported it to RBC fraud the next day before the transactions cleared and the agent said they could deal with it. Got a new card issued and the fraud transactions wiped. All seemed good. In March 2023, RBC reposted those fraud transactions onto my new **** card - a complete error on their part. I called the fraud department, but they said I had to talk to credit card chargebacks. Sent a secure email through online banking as well. Nothing for months. Called every two weeks to try to get someone to fix it. On June 1, I got an email saying those transactions were in the "queue" to be credited. We are at June 26 now and I still have not been credited. There doesn't seem to be anyone in authority I can talk to to fix this error. Terrible service from RBC.

Worst bank as far as my experience with RBC ****. I goto the same ********** coffee shop almost 40 times a month. Every weekend i go downtown and spend money for a beer or 2 and at food places.
Some how RBC has flagged the same Geo location transaction on a sat night as fraud and blocked the card (shuld throw your ai out the window on concrete). Then they started allowing transactions. ** used to send a text message to reply with a Y if this was me doing the transactions - no such thing with RBC.
Then I go this am to the same damn *** ******* (dind't take any other cards) but obv RBC **** sees a $8 charge for a coffee and sandwitch as crime even thought its at the same ********** location that I always goto (there are 40 charges from the same location every month).
So obv I call RBC and its been 45 mins im waiting on hold ... just for this i am going to cancel their **** ... ******** **** .. if i was in a real trouble there is no way I can depend on RBC ... BUH BYE RBC ****

** ***** *** *** ******* ** ***** ******** * ****** * ****** I am a business client with multiple ***** ****** and had a dispute or fraud claim to process and I am currently on the second day of trying to reach someone in the right department. Their call back service does not seem to call me back after several attempts and the wait of an average of 2 hours to talk to someone if just unacceptable. A supervisor explained that those wait times are acceptable to them. I also went to lengths to book a call back appointment several times now with no call back.

      Rbc’s management of investor money is appalling. I lost money in their lowest risk investment option after three years of no information on what the money I gave them was going towards and how those investments were performing. **** ******** ********* * **** ******* **** *********** ** ******* **** ******** ** ****** *********** *** ***** ******** *** *********** ********* ******* ********** ******
At the customer level, service is slow, the process to use cash back funds on credit cards is medieval, and the separation of what services must be done online, over the phone, or at a branch seems to have been decided by picking options from a hat.

In desperate need for money to pay first of month bills. Sold personal property and deposited certified cheque for 18k. 4 Business day hold. I'm sorry but business is 24/7 in 2023 not the archaic way the banks do business. Why pay for a certified cheque? What is that fee for? Now I have my rent cheques bouncing in 3 days ******* *** *** ****** ** ***** ***** **** *****

** *** **** ***** My husband and I opened new accounts, going into the bank with our ID and everything. Took hours of our day. RBC was to mail us new bank cards. I never received mine but my husband did. I called after 3 weeks and reported I did not receive my card. They sent a new one but flagged my card for fraud ???? Anyway, I couldn't get access to my money so I used my husband's card. After calling many times, hours on phone to get access they refused unless I take time off work, lose money out of pocket and come back in to branch in person. I honestly cannot do that. So I used my husband's card for everything. When I told them thank God I have ******* card they immediately froze his access as well, leaving us without access to our money unless we take time off work, lose money and come in. We went and withdrew all our money on the spot since we had to miss work because of them and opened a new bank account elsewhere. Now they won't close it unless we come in again. No way is that happening. We cut up my husband's card and will never ever associate with RBC again.

      I have had 2 fraud charges on my account for 6 weeks now. They have admitted they are fraudulent charges. I have complained to RBC, written countless emails, used their online reporting process which doesn't even give you a response, spoken to about 15 different people, it takes about 45 - 60 mins to get through and then they just put you on hold again. I can't even explain how stressful it has been *** * ***** ******* **** * ******** **** ** ******* ** ***** *** ********* **** **** **************** *** * ***** * ******** ********* *********** **** ** * ** *** **** *** ** *** *********** **** **** ******** ******* ** ********** ********* *** ***** ** ** ********* Totally shocking.
