      For the 10 time this year RBC has stolen money by allowing overdrafts to take effect that are not issued or client aware. RBC adds fees to accounts that are not to be fee'd. When attempts to address the issues regarding missing money or overdrafts not approved. RBC acts as no fault of the bank. Canadians needs a more secure trustworthy banking system.

      I had an issue with an advisor from the ******** ******** depart, who purposely mislead and refused to give a balanced portfolio. **** * ****** ** ***** *** ** ***** *** ****** **** *** ********* **** *** Elsa ********** ******* **** ********* *** never greeted us appropriately, and it was all strictly one-sided, and there was no intention to do what we wanted. At one point, we asked to do GIC, and she went to try to sell another product. When advised we are looking for diversification, she went back to mutual funds, (high risk). I also didn't get anywhere with her manager, Stephen, who initially said if we all agreed, we could get a new advisor. Apparently, the banks do not care about customer service. and just about making bucks. Apparently, there doesn't appear to be any accountability for reps as well. **** ***** If someone calls me to resolve this issue, this review may be updated. *** *** **** **** **** **** *** ********** ****** ***** ** * *** * **** * ***** *** **** **** *** *******

I was giving a call because there were missing transactions on my account, and I had seen them in the account the previous night so wondering where my money had went. The customer service agent was telling me to calm down and relax and cool beans? ****** *************** and was talking down to me. I was calm in the beginning but you can only take so much. You could hear that this kid was working from home banging around in his room. This customer service agent is not someone that should be representing a bank, sounded like a young kid who had a serious attitude problem. I cant even believe how I was spoken to by the place where I hold my money. We will be switching banks in the near future ** **** ** ********** *** ********* **************. Refused to give me an employee number, and when transferred over to a different department they were able to look into the issue right away. **** * ******* *** **** * ***** ** * ******

      The least professional, least accommodating service not just bank I’ve ever experienced. This bank will not only deny you access to your own money, but if you need a **** replaced or any standard bank type transaction they are incapable of completing the task. They are understaffed, and I would venture to guess under educated on the product they provide. The worst bank there is period. I will be taking my business elsewhere

      Was talked into having my RBC **** replacement couriered. Would only be 1-2 days. Not only was it not couriered, they said ***, *** has no record. RBC has no tracking code (*****). Now it's 3 to 5 business days. Only time being ******* out of $500 resulted in $1500 in **** ***** cards that I can use, while the real ******** (RBC), out source ** ****** ******* ******** ***********. Going to join my husband at another bank. ***** *** *** ** ** ** ** ******* **** ****** *******. Never should have let the RBC ******** cancel my card. *** **** ** * **** **** *** ** ******* ***** ****** ** ****

      I transferred funds from my personal account to pay for a business transaction purchasing e-gift cards for my local union to appreciate members who attended our recent annual general meeting. When the transfer was completed the recipient advised me that the full transfer did not get received and I had to pay an additional amount using my credit and of course got charged a credit card fee for this. I reached out to the bank and all you get is messaging that wants you to include your client number and I do not bank with them. When I finally got through to someone to lodge a complaint, all I got was that they couldn't even tell me in general terms what happened. I would not open an account at RBC when they steal funds from what you have arranged to transfer in good faith for the payment. RBC was difficult to deal with and not helpful.

      I've been on hold for over 2 hours and I'm still waiting to report a fraud. Absolutely unnaceptable. It's a business card that doesn't give me access to online banking and that means I have no alternative to let them know. Should not take this type of effort to report a crime. Unacceptable on all levels.

      Attempting to purchase travel insurance through RBC is nightmare.
      Every time I call them they explain they do have not anyone licensed to sell insurance in BC at that time. They promise a call back within 24 hours and nobody ever calls.
      After over a week of attempting to get a quote, calling 4 or 5 times I have given up.
      What is really unfair about the situation is that I have credit cards with RBC that include partial coverage of travel insurance. These cards have a yearly fee. Whats the point of having a product I cant use?
      I have been with RBC for almost 30 years. The customer service has deteriorated beyond belief.
