      Basically the same story as the others. Bought something online. They were poorly packaged and were delivered broken. I returned them through the mail. Was mailed gift cards instead of being refunded. 3 months in, 11 calls later and I still don't have my full refund back onto my credit card after several employees promising me it will be dealt with in 24-48 hours. Complete nonsense from such a well established business. I'm thinking they are going bankrupt and don't have the money to refund people back! I will never buy anything from the Bay again! This is from someone who grew up buying their products since childhood!

      My husband bought me a tennis diamond bracelet from The Bay Marketplace (cost $800 including taxes) and after 2 wears of this bracelet, it has turned black and tarnished all over. As you can tell, no one would wear a tennis diamond bracelet on a daily basis as it’s a flashy piece, let alone wear it in water.
      Therefore, to try to rectify this issue, my husband has tried to call The Bay to ask for their assistance in either getting a refund and/or getting a replacement as no one spends $800 for a bracelet to be worn only 2 times before getting tarnished. My husband has called the Bay in total 10 times since July 2023 and every time they have committed to call back with a resolution, they do not call back. It has been the same “we will call you in 24-48 hours” and then silence. On Friday, September 29th, my husband called The Bay again for an update and was told that the seller will only offer a 20% rebate which is unacceptable. We have now sent pictures to The Bay several times upon request and no one is actually managing to put the Customer First. In fact, it was the Bay who made us look bad saying we cannot prove that your wife wore it in water or not. Regardless, after 4 months, no $800 bracelet should turn black and tarnished.
      At this point, we require assistance in escalating this to someone who can help us get through to management at the Bay. When we ask, we are told no managers are available to speak to us. This is most probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

      i bought some cloths on line all said 100% cotton but when they both arrived i checked the label to find 100% polyester, Very upsetting that the bay then charged me a extra $10 to return items and sent me a gift card for some of my order less $10 of course. This was caused by the bay ***** ** ***** ******** about what there item was made from. **** **** *** *** ***** * I will never spend another $$ at this company I expect to have my account cr the correct amount .

      *** ** *** ********* ** *** *** *** ****** *** **** ******* * the experiences that I've had with The Bay online and their support team have been misleading at best and dishonest at worst. Most recently, I inquired online about a price match of a product available at another shop and received written confirmation that the price match was valid, and that all I needed to do was process an order online and follow-up. Upon processing the order online and following-up, I was advised that the price match vendor was invalid and that the price would not be matched. Upon contesting this at some length, I was THEN advised that the price match was not valid because of a promotional discount already applied at a value LESS than the discount for the price match. Essentially any tactic The Bay could employ to avoid matching the promised price was used, requiring me to follow-up and contest with customer service every time. I worked for The Bay for several years, have long been a referrer of friends and family to the store and even I will no longer be doing business with them online.

      Bought boots on sale, sale was final... Bay sent boots different colour from the website pic.
      Asked for a refund, refund was accepted, shipping label was provided.
      Now I just received an email Stating that a gift card in the account of the refund had been sent.
      ***, gift card was never mentioned during my phone conversation.

      Wow! How the mighty have fallen. The online store front is one of the worst I have ever seen and the search functionality is completely broken. I ordered a hat that was on sale for my wife and threw in a couple extra items to get the free shipping. Well I received everything but the hat, and when I tried to contact them regarding this, their "investigation team" determined that the hat was shipped with the other items and that I wouldn't be eligible for a refund. As if to say I was lying about not receiving the hat. If I were to do then wouldn't it be in my interest to lie about not receiving the entire order? Common sense doesn't live here anymore. Anyways after a lot of back and forth they finally agreed to give me a refund for a product they didn't even ship. I now have to go to a store in person to refund the other products because I only got them for the free shipping. Needless to say their supply chain, overall product selection, and customer service has become atrocious. **** **** ****** **** ** *******

      I purchased two dresses fro The Bay but they did not fit, so on Mar 15 I went to The Bay at 1355 Kingston Road in Pickering On to start my return. I got an email on Mar 15 to say that my return has started. I have been trying to get my refund since then. After numerous calls the agents promised a quick resolution- they were reading off a script & were useless in helping me. I got a partial refund for 1 dress only . On May 22 , I got an email from **** *** via The Bay market place to say that they were sorry for the delay & I would receive a refund in five days. I am still waiting.
      I even contacted *** ********* but they were not able to help me.
      I called the HBC contact again today & a Biance answered , I asked to speak to a manager & she said her manager Kadle said I have to go through the same process & that she could not talk to me!
      This is the worst customer service I have experienced in all my life. * ***** **** **** ******** ** **** *** ** ******* Still waiting fir my refund

      Ordered and paid for a dress from the Bay marketplace. Didn't fit. Sent it back after receiving instructions. No refund. The claim it was unfit for resale. Not! Now they have the dress and my money.

      I ordered 01 Shimmering Buff online; however, TheBay sent the box as 01 Shimmering Buff and inside was 02 Luminous Gold!
      Do not buy online!

      What is the point of HBC anymore? Irrelevant company that caters to the rich. I ordered a ****** perfume from them, and a month later the pump stopped working. HBC refused to replace it, even though it was defective. Just kept receiving the same canned email from them, over and over. They do not care about their customers, nor do they stand by the merchandise they sell.
