I requested an evaluation from WES, and I was having difficulty getting my transcripts. So I decided to hire a service that WES recommends: qualification check. The problem is they took longer than expected. Right after getting my transcripts verified, I went on to get the translation, but I was about to move. Then I asked WES, whether they would rather have me send the translations now or after I move so the document was sent to the right address. What happened is they never answered and deactivated my account. I asked them to reconsider because I already had the documents to send, I only didn't send them because I was waiting for their answer so I didn't have to pay additional fees for additional copies. And at each moment you ask them a question, they take several days to answer, which delays you, and for over 2 years now, whenever you ask a question, they say they have been getting more questions than usual. They haven't adjusted for years for the demand. I again ask them to reconsider and activate my account without charging me so I can send them my translations and they can finish my evaluation and have them sent. I already paid the due fees, the delays were because of a service they recommend and because they take sometimes weeks to answer or don't answer at all (you ask a, they answer b). ** ********* ******* *******

Navigating this organization has been a nightmare due to the ********** information both on their website and provided by their customer representatives. It's astounding how indifferent these representatives are to the frustration they cause. Despite my efforts, there seems to be no way to address or escalate the situation. It's a waiting game, with the credential evaluation process stretching up to four months. These representatives have mastered the art of deflecting questions and mitigating rather than resolving issues. Exhaustion sets in as you resign yourself to the situation, hoping desperately that no further problems arise during this arduous process. If they do, it becomes utterly unbearable. ****** ** **** ************** ****** ********* *** ******* *** * **** *** *********** ********

Worst customer service! I am left at an impasse with my case. Customer service representative asked me to fill out the web based "Contact Us Form" to reach out to them. It doesn't work at all and always shows error messages no matter which web browser I use! I need to urgently send my WES course evaluation to one of the graduate schools and I am not being able to as I accidentally lost access to my credentials.

Had a very unpleasant and fruitless experience with using WES services. They took much longer than the committed deadline. Finally when the report arrived it has drastic erros in naming the courses and the name of my master's degree. Customer service is virtually unreachble in writing. Calls made to the customer services were answered by unprofessional and **** persons who just simply said they can not do anything and they only entertain concerns sent in written via their online portal. After weeks of sending in the concern, they reply like robots with no relief in sight. It seems the reports are done by AI while in their status they state "Our document experts" are looking into your documents. Worse service by far. ** ********** *** ******* ** ******* ****** ***** ***** ******* *** ********* ** ****** *** ***************

I have 3 months trying to send my academic record to Wes. My institution sent the document via the establishment digital channel but my status remains on hold. I’ve sent the same document by *** and they rejected it. They are not communicating and I’m frustrated. I have paid and now don’t know what to do.

Very unreliable service. Way past their advertised timelines. Followed up multiple times but to no avail. Customer Service is also disappointing.

I received an email this morning confirming that my application was not accepted as WES "does not accept documents from ******* University". However, I find that strange I have a few friends and one cousin who studied in the same university where their application was successful just about a month ago. Also, the WES application does allow ******* University as a drop-down option to select when confirming the universities. Additionally, I did some research online to confirm the same and it looks like WES does accept documents from ******* University.
I am finding it so confusing and difficult to understand that the reason is that WES does not accept ******* University documents unless this a new rule from WES. If not, I would like to understand if there was any other reason my application got rejected; if there is, I am happy to fix it (If possible) and re-submit the application.

I am writing to bring to your attention some concerning practices that I have observed in World Education Services' credential evaluation process for international students seeking Canadian immigration. As a former client of WES and an international student myself, I feel obligated to express my deep dissatisfaction and regret to say that my experience with WES has been anything but satisfactory.
I spent a significant sum on my evaluation for the Canadian college application. Unfortunately, I haven't received my official report through mail, nor have I found any option to download it from my WES account. To resolve the issue, I contacted their customer service, inquiring about the download problem. They informed me that downloading the official report isn't possible from their account, suggesting that I order an additional copy by mail for an extra 48 CAD. I asked some friends, and they shared screenshots from their WES accounts, which showed a "Download official report" button. They were able to download the original report and submit it to IRCC for immigration purposes. This situation is extremely frustrating, as international students invest a substantial amount to move to Canada, we expect these organizations to be more accommodating in their processes.
This led to unexpected financial burdens that were not anticipated during my application, and it left me feeling exploited and taken advantage of as an international student already facing various financial challenges. I strongly urge World Education Services to address these exploitative practices and work towards ensuring a more transparent, efficient, and fair credential evaluation process for international students pursuing Canadian immigration. International students entrust organizations like WES with their future aspirations, and it is of utmost importance that you treat them with respect, integrity, and professionalism.

This is a classic example of a monopolistic performance. They have little to no interest in doing things right because they have no competition given the contracts they have with educational institutions, the government, and other associations. Why hire more people, improve the system, or create a great experience for the customers? Because we are no customer, we are forced to use their service. I have been waiting for weeks for someone to tell me anything. Customer services on the phone say I should use the self-help function, which takes 10 days to get an answer. It is impossible to have a conversation with someone if I get an answer every 10 days!
