      My premium for Auto was significantly increased despite having no claims in the past 3 years. The policy was automatically reviewed without my knowledge, and when I requested to cancel my insurance with TD Insurance, I was asked to pay cancellation fees and penalties. This has been the worst experience with an insurance company I have ever had.

      Online quote amount showed me less amount and they took more from my credit card.
      Lodge a complaint and supervisor advise me to wait for 10 business days and someone will call me but no they never did ******* **** **** **** ****** ****** ** ** **** **** *** ********* ****************** I did call them back and the answer was unfortunately we cannot change the amount to online quote and you will pay higher amount.
      Requested them to cancel because I have better quote from some other company but even thou they accepted their mistake they charge me for 1.5 month.
      Worse experience from this company.
      ********* ** ****** ********** *** ***** *** **** ******** *** ** ***** *********** **** ***** ***** *** ******* these people gave me misleading information.

      one payment bounced
      couldnt login online to change phone number or address (system errors)
      phone line results (multiple times) in a dead line or hang-up
      updating info results in "its not you , its us" consistently
      then they cancel policy - and no longer offer monthly for due to non-payment
      They will not contact you via email so if u move or change phone numbers they will exploit this opportunity and financially take advantage while ruining your insurance history
      learn from me and save yourself

      House fire and td doesn’t answer calls or settle claim. Almost 2 years and no movement on rebuilding. Zero accountability and so much stress. I’m removing all my td accounts.

      I had two vehicles financed with TD auto finance and had TD insurance as well. It is my understanding that financed vehicles required full coverage. ** **** ** ****** **** *** *** **** ******** ** *** ****** ** ****** *** ********* **** ** ******** ********** *** ******* ******* *** ******** *** ******* ***** **** *** ******* *** ** **** **** **** **** **** ****** **** ******** *** ****** *** ******* ******* *** ***** *** ******* **** **** ***** ** ** * **** * *** *** ******** ********* *** ***** * ***** ** **** ** ********** ***** *** **** ***** ** i decided to take my car off the road..TD insurance told me because it was financed i needed to pay something called parking insurance, they would not let me go uninsured. Makes sense right. So i paid parking insurance for a whole year.
      Recently i got into a accident and i totalled my truck. When i called to file a claim, they told me i didnt have collision on my financed truck. *** ***** *** **** ** *** *** **** ******** ** *** ******** ** **** ** **** *** *** ***** 
      i told them this is impossible that this makes no sense my truck was financed. Someone made a mistake. I asked for them to review the recordings of my calls. And they concluded i had asked for collision to be removed. Why would i pay parking insurance on my car for a whole year for nothing while having no collision coverage on my truck.
      **** ** * ******** ************* I am now losing about 28,000$ now. ** **** ** ***** I need a vehicle to travel out of town for work. I no longer have the car either. * ** ***** ** **** ** **** ** ****** ********** ** **** ** ***** ** *** ***** ** ********* **** *** * ******** *************

      ** ******* *** I both got charged twice. Check your bills and make sure you are not getting charged multiple times. I wonder how many times this gets overlooked and how many people get double charged!

      Paid them for almost 12 years and 1 of my payments bounced because money got transferred to my savings automatically, they basically told me to **** *** and now I need to find new insurance , they didn’t even let me argue my case to stay on monthly payments so, yea thats how much you’ll matter to them.
      In all that time, I also had one small claim from a fender bender and my insurance stayed expensive the whole time.
      Your just a number attached to a payment.

      I purchased on year rental insurance. After one year, I moved out rental room , but the company auto renew my insurance without let me know. ** **** ***** ** ***** **** *******

      They canceled my home insurance after I had updated my CC information on their website. I was told that the charge was declined, when in fact it had never been charged. Confirmed by the bank. I was also told I was sent registered mail which was also untrue as I went to all the post offices in town to try and find the letters. When I finally figured out my payment had not been taken I called and they told me I had to pay a balance to start a new policy, of course, I agreed, they used the CC that I had updated on their website and it worked. Then they told me I couldn't renew because they were not insuring my area.
      I also needed letters from TD to get a new policy but was told they would have to mail them. I have no house insurance and you are going to mail me a letter???
      Also escalated this to customer care, which also takes 3 days. Now I have a gap in my house insurance...all becasue they don't have time to call people when there is a problem.

      ** ********* ****** **** ********** ********** ****** I have been personally insured with TD for over 20 years, ** ********* ****** *** ******* * ******** ** ***** *** I'm saddened to report that this company has not lived up to my expectations in the last two years. Extremely poor customer service, overdue payments despite speaking to an agent and authorizing the credit card charge and worst of all, cancellation of auto insurance due to non-payment without notification by registered mail (is their process). I realize that I have legal grounds to stand on here but don't have the money to go up against one of the largest insurance companies in Canada. ****** **** **** ******** *********. Insurance is extremely important and unless you hold their hand throughout the year and fight when making a claim, you won't be covered. Sorry TD, get it together!
