My Notice number is ******** from Indigo Park. I was picking up a family of 6 as a favor up from the Toronto Pearson International Airport in the afternoon on August 13th, 2024. That was my first time to drive to the airport and I had no clue how busy it was. While driving a call came through from the family I was to pick up at the airport and in a bit to pick the call, my phone fell under the driver seat and I briefly stop by the side of the road to safely pick the phone. The only place I remember I stopped was close to the airport here were many cars parking on the roadside, and I thought it was an eligible parking spot. I did not see the "no parking sign" and since I was only stopping briefly to safely pick up my phone under the driver seat, I did not realize that it is okay to stop there.
However, the picture uploaded on the website does not clearly show where they claimed I parked with no any notice of no parking in the picture. It is not clear in the picture provided the location of this parking and the notice of no parking.
The notice I received says

Amount Due After Due Date: $107.60
I logged into the website link provided today and even though it is not yet the due date, amount due was showing $107.60.
I will appreciate if someone can look into this and void this charge/fee.

Thank you for providing the picture capturing your vehicle. The roadways leading into the terminals are signed with "No Parking" and "No Stopping" signs for public safety reasons. All highway access leading into the airport are signed with large digital signage indicating "Stopping along the shoulders may result in a $85 fine." The picture clearly captures your vehicle parked in a prohibited area. As a first time offender, we have reduced the fee to $60. I received an $85 ticket in the mail for stopping at the pearson airport. The picture taken just shows the back of my car with the brake lights on. It does not show if I am waiting for a car infront of me to move. I am not even sure my car was stopped or moving slow as I don't recall stopping. Not sure how they can provide a ticket like this. I never stopped and waited at the airport. I waited in the cell phone lot until my friend told me he was at the designated pick up stop to be picked up. I did not really event stop to pick him him up as he did not have luggage. I do not understand how they can give a ticket like this with this evidence.Business Response

Hello,
I received notice of parking violation from Indigo Park for being stopped at the airport. The car was stopped for a matter of seconds. The fine is $107.60 which is extremely high and I can't afford it.
I'm seeking assistance to have the ticket voided or at minimum reduced significantly. I would like to resolve this matter quickly as I only just received this letter in the mail and don't want it to go to collections.

I received an infraction notice from Indigo Park, notice number *******. The notice was received by mail on 13 August 2024 and in the notice the date for infraction mentioned was 5th of July 2024. I was shocked when I received this notice because I did not stop and wait on the road shoulder. I only remember that I had to stop once to adjust the seat belt for my 4 year old son who was on the rear seat and this stop was merely for 30-40 seconds. There are pictures that were included in the notice showing my vehicle stopped. I just want to know that whether I will be issued an infraction even if I stop on the shoulder for safety reasons. The seatbelt for my son’s car seat had moved and had to be adjusted. The ticket should have been issued if I was waiting in the restricted area but stopping for a safety reason should not be a violation I believe.

On July 29, my 80 year old mother received a ticket when parked in a handicapped spot in an Indigo lot. She has a valid disabled permit which was displayed. She attempted to pay for parking but was unable to do so because both of the meters in the area were out of order. The signs directed her to pay by QR code, which she is unable to do. She does not have QR code capabilities on her phone and there are no detailed instructions provided by Indigo on how to do this. The Out Of Order signs.posted are also misleading, suggesting that it is not possible to pay. There was no other option for parking - cash or credit card. There is also no alternative place to park at this location other than the Indigo lot so she had no option to park anywhere else e.g. municipal parking.
I have requested Indigo cancel the ticket by email. They have not provided the form to do so and there does not appear to be any other option to submit an appeal. There is no online form available when I search their website. The appeal process appears designed to frustrate complaints. The fee, $75, is exorbitant.
I have photos that document that both parking meters were out of order.

The roadways leading in to the Terminals are signed with 'No Parking" and "No Stopping for public safety reasons. This is a valid violation and you can dispute this by calling the call center listed on the violation you received. They are open Monday to Friday 8;30 am to 5pm. There is also a web portal to review pictures capturing your vehicle, as well as making an online payment.

I don’t understand why I received 2 tickets within 17 mins. I was picking my friend up from the Toronto Pearson Airport in the evening on July 4th, 2024. There were many cars parking on the curbside, and I thought it was an eligible parking spot. I did not see the "no parking sign" on the ground because there were many cars and it was blocked. It is with great concern that I am writing to you in regards to a document I found on my windshield on Monday, July 8, 2024.
We live in Peterborough. I drove my sister to the *** **** Train station in Cobourg .
After leaving her at the station about 15 minutes before her train was scheduled to arrive which was 1:0l pm.,I decided to take a photo on the other side of the Train station tracks.
I drove around to a small side street called Station Street.
There were no curbs, sidewalks or signs of any kind indicating no parking. I parked my car in the shade of a tree. Temps were above 32°C. I walked across the street to the fence and took pics of the station & the train arriving. A total of less than 10 minutes. My first pic shows a time of 12:50pm; last pic shows 12:54pm.
I stood within 20 ft. of my car, & yet I didn't hear or see anyone on the street or at my car. I found the ticket on windshield when I returned to my car. $60. for " Stall Unpaid'
Why didn't the person who wrote the ticket let me know I was in a no parking spot?
I drove to the Cobourg Police station to inquired about the ticket. They said it wasn't theirs. Directed me to the city's Enforcement office. Which I did, after spending 20 minutes looking for a 'free' parking spot & walking 3 blocks in the sweltering Heat. The Enforcement officer didn't even know what the ticket was. she had to go upstairs to ask someone. They said the ticket was from a private company in Toronto.
I sent them a detailed email. I called the office number for Indigo Park Tuesday, Wed and Today. Have not got an answer.
July 15 I learned that *** **** hired Indigo to enforce parking at their stations.
I have called them. Only office is in Montreal. They were no help.
Is the ticket for parking at the Train Station? Can't find a pic of no park signs.
Tried to pay Online today but it doesn't work.
