I went to the ******* ******* airport to pickup my sister so i waited at the arrivals for like a minute or two like every other car was waiting, i had no clue that there is this violation thing there and it was my first time being at the airport, i got this ticket from indigo parking and i would like to apologize if i was parking at the wrong place, it was my very first ticket and i had no clue that this is a violation, i am really suffering financially, i have no job and i would like them to understand my situation, i cant pay 85 dollarsBusiness Response

Hi this is regarding the Vehicle recorded Stopped notice#******* that I received in mail.
On April 12th, I went to the airport to pick a family member up and upon arrival, the terminal authorities did not let me stop so I had to go around again and wait as the flight got delayed.
After waiting on the side of the road and away from all the traffic, I went to pick up my family member.
I had no clue regarding any such infarction and it was not my intention to break any rule. I sincerely apologise for my mistake and want to highlight that it is my first time for such a mistake.
I sincerely request you to cancel the ticket.

On May 26 went to pick up my daughter at ******* airport. She was arriving from Spain. I saw a bunch of cars parked along the side and I joined them. I didn't see any signs saying no parking so did not know I was parking illegally and was never approached by parking authority. I just received the parking violation in the mail. Me missing the no parking signs is one thing and receiving a parking ticket is reasonable. However receiving 3 tickets all within a 20 minute time span is absolutely unreasonable and a complete cash grab. I have no issues paying for 1 parking ticket but not 3 all for the same
signal parking infraction. Please contact me so that we can arrange to cancel 2 of these tickets. ************Business Response

May 23rd, 2023. I went to the airport to pick up my co-worker as he was arriving to Canada. I drove to the airport and a group of cars are standing by the side of the road leading to the Terminal. I followed the line and decided to wait there along with some other cars, also not knowing that this was a violation. I even didn’t see any sign of no standing there. Parking enforcement people told to move cars to each drivers and some of them were fighting with him so I decided to park my car in the terminal parking. There were many cars and unable to go out from the traffic jam lane quickly. I have checked my picture of proof picture but it doesn’t be a proof of violation because it shows only my vehicle and not enough showing surrounding. Weak convince that my vehicle was at the area where no parking or stopping. Please considering this as my first offence I would like to waive off this ticket. I was coming to pick up my family on April 28. The cell phone lot was full then, so I needed to go outside of the lot and drive through the pickup area. As I could not find my family then, I needed to go around again, and my gas ran low. As it was my family's first time coming to Canada, I did not want to leave the airport, fuel the car, and return as they may be lost. After seeing a few cars waiting on the shoulder of the road, I stopped there for 5 minutes and left. I understand that it is not allowed, but charging $85 for a very short period of stopping when the lot was full seems too much, especially considering the difficult financial situation with large inflation. I hope the charge can be waived.

Notice# *******; On Wednesday May 17 2023. I went to the airport to pickup my wife and baby as they were arriving back to Canada. I drove to the airport and there was no parking at the terminal, parking enforcement people told to move my car.
I tried to come again after sometime and a group of cars standing by the side of the road leading to the Terminal and decided to wait there along with some other cars, also not knowing that this was a violation. I sincerely apologize, if I have parked my car in any violated area. It was wrong decision.
I confirm that this is my first time and I did not intent to park my car anytime in the area to violate the law. As well as already I’m going through rough time financially and mentally because I've lost my job for 2 years.

I received the subject notice via mail indicating that I had violated parking at ******* ******* Airport - Terminal 1. There are 15 pictures taken on the day in question (they are timed stamped on my phone) showing that there are no signs posted directly in the area where my car was parked. The area the car was parked is off the main stretch of road, 20-30 feet away from the nearest gate, with no signs indicating one is not allowed to park. There were other cars were parked directly in front of me at the time. No personnel instructed me to move or advised me that I was in violation. Further, the issues notice mentions that ‘it’s not a result of a vehicle parked at the terminal curb side (departures or arrivals levels)’ which is exactly where I was parked the day my family arrived from an international flight waiting to pick them up.
The notice has both an email address and a phone number that do not work, and therefore I can not contact any one at this office to dispute this. I tried sending an email and I received a failure notification. Email: ****@*************.com

Hello on Sunday May 14th my wife and I arrived at the airport to pick up my wife's Mom. My mother in law was delayed exiting the airport so we were asked to move along, iI did not see a sign stating that we would be fined for stopping in that spot, we were parked there for a few minutes and then moved on, and discovered the cell phone parking lot, which we were never aware of.
I can honestly say I did not see signs warning of a fine for stopping there. I'm now aware of the cell phone lot and will use that option moving forward. My wife and I live on my pension, please make an exception and we won't park there ever again. Thank You.

On April 29th, my husband went to the airport and there was a lack of parking available to pick up a passenger. He parked in an area with multiple other cars, which unbeknownst to him, was a no parking/stopping zone. They printed the ticket on Thursday, May 25th and I did not receive it until Tuesday, May 30th (at night). However, if the violation was not paid by May 28th (2 days BEFORE I received the ticket), additional fees were added. It is unfair that I was not given a chance to pay the ticket until additional "late fees" were applied. Since then, I have called the company 33 times at different times within business hours and each time, I have been put on hold for 2 minutes before it forwards to a voicemail. I have left a voicemail. I have emailed them. I have also sent a ticket through their website. No one has returned my calls or answered my emails. It is absolutely unreasonable that I would have to pay late fees without even being informed of the ticket due to the untimely nature of the company. I have tried contacting them every day over the last week and there has been no response. This is the first parking ticket either my husband and I.Business Response
