    **** ****** *** *** *** ******* **** **** ******* ****** *** **** ** ***** *** **** ***** Sirius XM Canada Inc. has very questionable business practices for anyone trying to cancel their membership. First, there is no option or possible way to cancel your membership online nor is there anyway to email them requesting cancellation. I first used their online A I Bot to no avail and since have tried calling multiple times. They claim they are busy once you press 2 for cancellation. They offer you a text link or a call back. When they call back and you answer, the line immediately goes dead. I was on Hold for over 10 mins when they 1st attempted a call back, so I ended my Hold and answered and they immediately hung up. So of course now I had to wait again multiple times on Hold to NO avail. All this while interrupting my workday and life waiting for a simple cancellation request. After 4 hours of attempt, I finally got though to alive person, but of course now I wasn't in my car and arriving at appointments. I requested cancellation and he said he could help but would need to transfer me. I asked why and he said I had to speak to someone about their OTHER PLANS before Cancelling. I asked repeatedly "Are you not going to cancel my membership as per my request " and he continued to say he will help and transfer me. I'm on Day Five now of attempts to no avail. This is absolutely terrible business practices and should be illegal. Once I finally get my cancellation, I will never EVER become a member of Sirius XM again, nor will I ever buy a Vehicle and accept the Offer of Sirius XM Free. The Auto Dealer will unfortunately lose my lease or purchase immediately if I have to use Sirius XM. This is what happens when a company treats their clients/memberships in such a Horrible way. I have a leased a vehicle every two - three years for over 10 years now and it's a shame that they will also lose my business if my vehicle is forced to have Sirius XM with any kind of Membership.

    I have been with SiriusXM on and off for the last 14 years. Our latest subscription ended on July 10, which I did receive advanced email advising that it would be renewing at full price on July 11. I was not planning to renew, but didn’t have a chance to call until today (July 23). When I spoke with customer service, despite how many times I asked to cancel, she continued to push the sale and reading from whatever script they have. After wasting 15 explaining I want my service cancelled, I finally said I do not want the service and if this is too hard to understand I want to speak with a manager immediately as the business tactics are forceful. Finally, she agreed to cancel the service for me. 6 hours later, I received an unsolicited phone call from SiriusXM trying to sell me a package and keep me as a customer. I explained rather bluntly why I am cancelling, to which he replied with “I don’t understand, it’s only $5?” At that point I lost all patience and ended the conversation.
    Employees are extremely forceful when it comes to cancelling the service and don’t take no for an answer unless you are willing to push back and put your foot down.

    Their system is quite inefficient, when you try to cancel they will get you to call and you get roped into their sales pitch (with telemarketers that use the guilt method) to be finally transferred to a phone operator that directs you back to their website where you are manually guided on how to cancel it. Spent a good 40min to do all this, it was just a waste of time, they could have automated this on their website.

    They give you the runaround when you try to cancel the service. Apparently their agents are trained to not take “no” for an answer. I was so frustrated that I hung up. Plus the agent was a pompous ****. ***** ** ******** **** **** ********

    Had been a customer for 15 years, time for annual renewal, called to ask for the same rate as before which is $5 per month. The agent says that rate is for new customers only, so why should I have to pay more than new customers. The agent says if you don't like the new rate, you can cancel which I did. The agent made no effort in retaining a long time customer. In retrospect, the channels that I listened to plays the same songs over and over again so I guess I am not missing much.

    Customer service Aali said that because I don’t own a *********** that I have to pay more for the service because I own an SUV. But if I owned a *********** then my payments are less because I have a more luxury car.

    Terrible with honoring deals that there agents promise. I renewed a subscription after being promised a deal by a Sirius xm agent. Received first bill and it was not what was discussed. I was charged more than what was agreed upon. Called to speak with customer care and was told that a supervisor would look into it and call back in 2 or 3 days. Waited 7 days and called back and spoke with a supervisor. Supervisor would not honor deal that was made with original agent. Original agent made several promises that were not honored by Sirius xm. Very bad customer loyalty.

    Sirius XM provide commercial free radio. Over time you will find that the songs become repetitive and lack diversity. When you no longer wish to use their service, be prepared to have pushy sales people push their agenda to keep you as a member. Once a person decides to quit they shouldn't have to get upset to be listened to. I'm glad I'm no longer a client of a company that clearly doesn't listen.

    * ********** ******* **** ***** ** ******* I cancelled my subscription months ago and imagine my surprise when IM STILL BEING CHARGED!!!! I then proceed to call and explain my story to a member of the team and he then throws me to a loyalty staff member where I’m then placed on hold for far too long.
    Why would I want to subscribe to SiriusXM ever again **** **** ***** ** **** * ****** Also, it’s 2024, who the heck asks a customer to call a poorly run hotline to cancel a subscription?! Everyone I speak to ** ********** ********** *** just pass you off to other agents who also know next to nothing. * **** * **** ** **** ****** ******* **** ******* **** *** *** **** **** ******** **** ** *** *** *** ******* * ******** ** *** **** ** ****** **********
