Purchased Dualit toaster and toaster rack (as an add-on) on November 28 2022 Reason for dispute: I was charged but never received the merchandise or service Contacted merchant: Yes Attempts to resolve: I have reached out to the business on multiple occasions through email and phone. I have not received a response. Today, when I went online to try reaching someone through their chat box, it looks as though the company is no longer in business. There is no longer a chat box. Every item online says it's 'sold out'. I tried calling the phone number, and it also no longer seems to be working. Purchased product and it was charged to my credit card right away. Emailed weeks later and the response was it was out of stock and should be here in 2 to 3 weeks. I made an online purchase for an All American Canner ORDER 17213 confirmed on 02/07/2022 from Cookstore Canada. (*** ******** - 15.5 QT Presssure Canner/Cooker - 915 *PREORDER 2022* × 1)
On May 12, 2022, I emailed [email protected] and requested an update on my order. My response from Cook Store Support,
“HI *********,
************ has been incredibly popular across North America, we are expecting to have another shipment next year.
There is a one year wait list for the ************ as noted on our website, it seems that everyone has taken up pressure cooking in the pandemic.”
On July 25, 2022, I again requested an update. My response, “HI *********,
Our next shipment is expected to arrive next year. Production is very slow for the ************!

On their website it said PREORDER ONE YEAR”. However, when I ordered mine, it was advertised “ Pre order 2022” as it also says on my receipt.
On Jan 2023 I emailed ******* at Cookstore “Is there any new information on when you will be shipping out orders since our last communication?” I received no response.
On March 23, 2024 I email [email protected] and request an update or refund. I now receive a Delivery Status Notification (Failure). The response from the remote server was: 550 No Such User Here
I have not received my product. I have not received a refund or any response since January 2023. Now their customer support has disappeared. My credit card was charged the following.

Nov 8 2022, order was taken by Cookstore for 3 items as Christmas presents. **** was charged $326.50, including $37.56 in taxes.
After the order confirmation, there was no further communication from the part of Cookstore, and any calls, emails and complaint tickets remained unanswered. CookStore.ca Complaint - Undelivered Pressure Cooker Purchase

I am filing a complaint against CookStore.ca for a pressure cooker I purchased but never received. Below is a summary of my case, including email exchanges and related information.
In August 2022, I purchased a pressure cooker from CookStore.ca (Order number ******).
I had multiple email exchanges with CookStore.ca's customer service, some of them are detailed below:
September 7, 2022: I inquired about the status of my order. CookStore.ca replied that the pressure cooker was delayed and estimated to arrive in 2-3 weeks.
October 21, 2022: I asked if I should cancel the order, and CookStore.ca informed me that the shipment would arrive in the first week of November. I chose to wait.
January 30, 2023: I emailed CookStore.ca to cancel my order, but my message was returned with a "domain not found" error.

I filed a dispute with my credit card company for a refund but was denied.

I ordered online on the Cookstore August 25th, 2022 for a total of $1568.55. all items were backordered but them billed the total amount to my credit card immediatly. I raised the issue with them and they replied to my email saying that they would ship as it became available. I did receive one item for $706.09. I inquired a few times by email after that and the last response i received from them was on 2022-10-31 . this was their reply.
We are still awaiting the arrival of your items to our warehouse.
As soon as it does, we will ship it out to you right away.

My complaint relates to Cookstore in Ontario, Canada
On November 16, 2022, I placed an order with Cookstore (order #******) totally $541.78 paid via credit card. This order was for cooking pots. I receivd confirmation of the order but have received nothing since then - I have not received my pots. I sent numerous emails to them and tried calling many times over the intervening months but have received no replies. I am very upset about this - it is a lot of money. I understand that many other people have also not received their orders. I have no idea how to get my money back or get my pots.

I ordered a Swiss army knife ($200) for cookstore.ca on 3 Jul 2022 and I an stil waiting for it. I contacted the store several times and each Tim,e they told me three more weeks, three more weeks. It went on this way until November and then, nothing. They just stopped answering my emails. They kept my money and left me empty-handed. I placed an order on with order number ******. My Visa was charged before shipment on July 25th, 2022 of $962.57. I received a partial order and since then can no longer contact the cook store. I would like a refund for the remaining items.
