    I had a test today. It cost me $150 for this test. I am livid! My ID is expired (here in ** the appointments are booked past the next month) and I was told I had a 90 day window to use the expired ID by someone in the customer service department. Well, I sat for nearly ********************************************************** that I am wrong and that they no longer accepting them. In the 2022-2023 handbook, it states that I can do this! This place is a joke and I can't understand why schools continue to use them!

    If I could leave zero stars for this company I would. The ******* I had was not friendly and had the attitude of I don't want to be here. There practices invade your privacy not just by webcam but also by having full access to your PC. I was very turned off by the audacity they have that they think they can go in your computer and start messing with your settings. Which took me forever to set back and they don't bother to tell you what they changed or how to change them back. As I heard another reviewer say this company has major data breach written all over it. Do yourself a favor and not use these company if you can take your exam person.

    Extremely predatory business that makes their standards so strict yet so subjective that they can basically cancel any test for any reason. The examiners interrupt the test routinely without pausing the time. They will cancel the exam with no reason or communication. Incredibly horrible business practice

    ProctorU is extremely frustrating, and no words can describe how upset I am. One technician told me my computer was compatible, and another told me that wasn't true. I tried to take my test at 6:30. Its almost 10:00 pm, and I still don't know if anyone gave me an accurate answer. I'm also upset at my professor for not being CLEAR about what computers are actually compatible. Colleges need to stop being cheap and spend money on better quality ! I'm so disappointed in this establishment. I see why you got ONE STAR just horrible

To clarify on our supported systems, a chromebook is supported for automated exams, such as the tests that you signed up for, but not for live proctoring sessions. This also extends to offering support from ************** team. A chromebook cannot connect remotely to these support representatives and so the amount of technical assistance we can provide with hardware issues such as with your web camera are very limited.     Terrible. Even with full access to my computer they couldnt manage. 2.5 jrs later I just got refunded and booked an in person test. A huge wast of time. They had me repeat the same process 17 times and they failed every time. Save your sanity and avoid at all costs.

    I completed the first half of the **** on Saturday Feb 11. During the 10 minute intermission, my ************************* ***** M said there was an issue occurring with my video and requested to transfer me to a tech. This had happened prior to beginning the test as well and I received the same stock response asking to transfer me to a tech. I clarified and specifically asked if doing so would interrupt my session. ***** responded "no becaue (their spelling) you are still in the intermission."It is worth noting that the device I was using passed all the preliminary checks.The process of transferring my case from my ******* to a tech, Jushwa T, took 5 minutes. By the time a tech had actually connected, my time for intermission had already elapsed. The tech, however, still took remote control of my device. After several more minutes, ****** T informed me that my test had been terminated for failing to return on time. I reiterated to him that I had specifically asked my ******* if undergoing the transfer to the tech would interfere with my test and I was told it would NOT. I expressed my concern and the tech said he would file a ticket. Ultimately, he said the test could not be reopened and to request a new appointment. He then promptly disconnected. My ******* never returned. I was at my computer awaiting the go ahead to return to my test for at least 6 minutes of the 10 minute intermission and was corresponding with either a ******* or tech for several of those minutes. My ******* failed to inform me of the risk for termination and transferred my case knowing that was a possibility. I was not instructed to do anything prior to the transfer to ensure my test was not terminated. The **** will not reimbursee or allow me to make the test up because ProctorU deemed this a "termination with no options." This was a complete and total waste of several hundred dollars, months of prep, and most of a day.

    Today I sat down to take the **** and this was by far the single worst testing experience of my life. For the life of me, I cant understand how an important organization such as **** could partner with such a poor proctoring interface as ProctorU. They are rated 1 star out of 5 in every review Ive seen and I think 1 star is generous. I sat down to take the test on the Chrome browser which is one of the 2 browsers supported by the platform. I installed the Chrome extension as prompted. I did the computer system check which returned a OK on all systems and then I got a popup which says share entire browser with ProctorU. The popup screen had 2 options: share or cancel. I tried to click share, but the button wouldnt even highlight for me to click it. I **** nearly broke my laptop trying to click that button but to no avail. I tried the chat feature of the site to get help. In the age of artificial intelligence and Chat GPT, ProctorUs chat system is precisely artificial stupidity. I would write my concerns in the chat and it would open a site with information totally unrelated to what I wrote. I closed Chrome and tried my luck on Firefox which is the other browser the site claims to support. On Firefox, my system doesnt even make it beyond the check system phase. I was at a dead-end with no possible help. Long story short, I did not get to take the exam. I said in the beginning that I dont understand why **** would partner with ProctorU, on a second thought, it makes perfect sense. The entire raison dtre of the **** is to capitalize on the anguish of law school aspiring students to make as much profit as possible. Thus, ProctorU as a partner makes perfect sense in such endeavor. Tonights experience left a bad taste in my mouth which will not soon go away. Im no longer interested in taking the ****, not as long as it is administered by **** and proctored by ProctorU. If I dont get to be a lawyer, then so be it. Im done.

    Every review I have read about this company is awful, and their are a lot! I am not one to take the time for reviews unless the service is extremely bad or good. In this case, it is extremely bad! First off their proctors are extremely rude and bark orders at you. They are very invasive. It is almost like a cavity search every time you use them. I feel like I'm entering prison for a crime I never committed. There is no need for the rudeness. And, so far, I've had problems understanding them because of their foreign accents. But if I ask them to repeat the question, the barks get louder. Test taking is anxiety-ridden enough without a test-taking service making it worse. I went to take a test on Tuesday the 7th of February, tested my equipment right before logging in and everything was reported as fine. I have a new laptop with all the latest versions. My ******* was 10 minutes late and extremely flustered. He said my system was slow and transferred me to the IT **** who did a few things in my laptop (the invasion of privacy alone should be illegal), then said he would transfer me back to my ******* but no one ever came back on to test me. I contacted my instructor the next day and he opened a new test window for me. However, when i went to reschedule, I had to pay another $15 after already paying $20 for the first attempt they did not perform for me. 2 days later, I logged in to take a test for another class and miraculously there were no issues. That's $50 in one week spent for horrible service that I am forced to pay for or fail. I contacted the company, and of course, they refused to refund me because they know I can't do anything about it because my school forces this on me. It is unethical to charge students who are already struggling financially that kind of money! They can use whatever excuse they want to rip us off and from the reviews I've read, that is what this company is about! They need to be investigated!

    Horrible, just horrible. Unreachable by phone, useless customer service. I scheduled a session for a midterm and when trying to connect to take said midterm, it was not foundable. Apparently, after struggling for 45 minutes with the "live chat", the website thought I was in ***** and scheduled it for 12:30 (like I asked) in *****. Therefore I missed the time because of the DIFFERENT TIME ZONE, and when trying to reschedule it is impossible... Furthermore, asking for a refund is also IMPOSSIBLE. I recommend this website to anyone who has days to waste with incompetence and horrible service. (if negative stars were available it would be a -5 lol)

    Bitter experience with ProctorU: I had a bitter experience with Proctor U. The ******* ceased my exam stating that I did not maintain the camera view. But as a student, like a video call, you don't have any option to see your camera view. Additionally, she (the *******) could've informed me and given a warning. The way of conducting was so poor, the ******* interchanged once, and the noise from the ********* ambiance disturbed me as well. However, I accepted those distractions. Finally, without warning (for not maintaining the camera view), they ceased my exam which was very important to me.
