    On 02/05/24 an order was placed with 5boys Apparel, LLC for 20 t-shirts totaling $240.22 (Order #*******) to be delivered within 3-4 weeks (per their website). The following day another order was placed for an additional 25 t-shirts totaling $301.86 (Order #*******). Before 5boys begins printing the t-shirts, their practice is to send a "proof" of the t-shirt design to be approved by the customer. I received a proof for Order #******* on 2/6/24. This proof was approved and 5boys were to begin pressing the shirts. However, more than a month later no update was provided, despite initial attempts to request an order update via email. With no response, I resulted in calling the business directly only to have a majority of my phone calls forwarded to voicemail.Regarding Order #*******, no proof was ever delivered until 03/12/2024. This proof was only delivered once I was able to get ahold of them via phone for the first time. After still receiving no communication from 5boys, I placed several phone calls on 03/21/2024--of which I was able to reach them once. On this phone conversation, I requested an update asking if the t-shirts for both orders have been printed yet. The response was that they hadn't begun fulfilling the order. Upon this news I decided it would be best to cancel these two orders and take my business elsewhere. After speaking with an associate by the name of ******, I was emailed a confirmation that our orders have been cancelled and a refund had been issued and could take up to 3-7 business days to process.More than a week later, I had yet to receive a refund so I reached out to 5boys again asking for the status. As of the time of this filing (04/16/24) I have yet to receive a refund nor any further updates.

    On February 29, 2024 I ordered 150 shirts from their website totaling $1027.10 (my invoice number is ***** onl oder *******). I have not received my order. I have called and left several voice messages and also several emails. No one from 5boys Apparel has attempted to call or email me back. This is the first time I have ever used them. I would like a full refund or the shirts I ordered.

    I bought an order of T shirts from this business on February 5th 2024, for my musical group/band called Idol Lord. We sell merchandise (i.e.. T shirts, stickers, etc.) as a way of making money to finance our band. We had a very important engagement on March 28th 2024 that we needed additional merchandise for. My order was placed and paid for on February 5th 2004, which allowed me 37 business days for this order to arrive. Per 5 Boys literature, they indicate a typical turnaround time of ***** business days. On the 29th business day (03/15/24), I sent them an email indicating that I was in absolute dire need of my order. They replied, indicating that my order was estimated to ship some time between 03/15/24 and 03/22/24. On 03/22/24 I sent them another email indicating that it was now 34 business days, and my order still had not shipped. They did not even bother to reply. To date, I have received no further correspondence from 5 Boys. No explanation for the delay, nor any apology for the hardship they have caused me. Today (04/05/24), is the 44th business day, and second calendar month since I placed my order. I understand that delays occur, and mistakes happen. But to advertise a turnaround time of ***** business days, when in reality it's almost twice that time, is in my opinion, false advertising. Had they advertised a turnaround time of two months, I would have ordered my merchandise from another company. Presumably, most people would, and this seems downright deceptive and dishonest in my opinion. My band's merchandise sales is an integral part of how we earn a living, and having nothing to sell has dire consequences for us.Whatever money I thought I was going to save by using 5 Boys, has in actuality cost me three fold. I feel it's extremely important that others are warned about this company, as people's livelihoods could be adversely affected.

    It is true that the company refunded my money, it is untrue that it was at my request, this is a flat out lie; what I wanted was the merchandise I had paid for.  

    Essentially, I gave them a two and half month interest free loan.  This is a completely unacceptable business practice, and I hope that potential customers check the Better Business Bureau website to inform themselves of the utter ineptitude and dishonesty of this company.

    I give this company 2 stars instead of 1 solely because the quality of the shirts I received was great. But that's about the only positive thing about my whole interaction with this company. I placed an order for 200 shirts (2 designs each in 2 different colors) on Nov 7th and paid $1737. I approved the proof on Nov 11th. The estimated delivery was Dec 4th. By Dec 11th I had not received anything and my account on their website still showed "processing". I called the company to get an update but no one answered so I left a voicemail. The next day I received an email response stating my order was "estimated to ship on or around 12/12-12/19". I wanted the shirts before Christmas so I called again and asked how the shirts were shipped since I live in ****** and ground shipping can take weeks! I was told the rush fee to have it before Christmas would be $199. I went ahead and paid it but by Dec 18th I had only received half my order (1 design, 2 different colors). After many calls and emails inquiring about the other half of my order, I finally received it at the END of JANUARY! If that wasn't bad enough, I was shorted 20 shirts and also 3 of the shirts had discrepancies and were unusable. After no response from several emails and voicemails, I feel I have no choice but to leave a bad review. I had truly hoped we could resolve this :(

    Jan 13 order was placed for 400 shirts to have a proof made for approval or non approval. We had paid $1149.00 We received proof a few days later and did not approve and requested refund as we would not move forward with production or receive any product.Delayed responses and not refunding us led us to be at aheavy financial loss. I attached email thread as well order. This company may be fraudlently stealing money and should be heavily investigated.

    Placed order, paid for order, and have not received order. Contacted business multiple times by phone and email, no one ever provides response or confirms the order is on the way. I missed the event the shirts were ordered for. I missed the secondary opportunity to gift the order at Christmas.

    Saw ads on social media for 100 shirts for $399. I ordered and after 2 months the shirts said they were shipped. After one day the shipment was lost. 5 boys claims they were going to send again and this never happened. Now 6 months later and I have lost $399 and they never sent shirts and also will no longer respond or answer the phone. I believe they are a scam.

    Im a small business that ordered 100 shirts to sell for a specific event convention that I paid to be a vendor at. My t-shirt order was placed on September 17, 2023 for my event which was held on October 7, 2023. I asked about rush/expedited delivery options for the order to reach by that day. They quoted me in email an additional $150 for the order to reach by Oct. 5. I agreed and submitted payment details. As the date got closer, I noticed on my statement that I was charged $299 for the expedited/rush delivery instead of the stated $150.Once I noticed the incorrect charge, I emailed them and was told that they would adjust the refund amount (which never happened)As Oct. 5th approached, I noticed that I never received a tracking# for my order to arrive by Oct. 5th. I emailed to inquire and was told that my ordered shipped and would arrived on Oct. 5th. The tracking # that they provided me said otherwise and had my order arriving Oct. 11th.I frantically emailed & called them back on Oct. 5th and was told they would check on it. No one ever called or emailed me any information, etc. I called and emailed them again on Oct. 6 and got no answer or response.Needless to say I didnt receive my order until Friday Oct. 13, which was the nightmare I received 6 days after the date I needed them for..Im am currently out of $800 on shirts that I cant use and I have yet to hear from them after numerous calls and emails.I am a small business and understand the challenges of small businesses. I would have appreciated if they would have been up front and told me that my order wouldnt make it in time instead of stringing me along and taking my money.

    This complaint is in reference to the horrible customer service, misleading delivery estimates, and failure to produce products in accordance with agreed upon order proofs. Our company submitted three separate orders for this business for custom printed t-shirts. Order numbers are ******* placed 8-18-23 with an estimated delivery date of 9-10-23, ******* placed 8-23-23 with an estimated delivery date of 9-14-23, and ******* placed 8-24-23 with an estimated delivery date of ****-23. Order ******* experienced numerous delays during the proof process, as the proofs provided inaccurate print colors (proofing utilized internationally recognized colors from Pantone). When we finally settled on a color, we expected the orders to be printed as shown on the proofs. The order then sat for several weeks before entering production, and once it finally was completed, it was delivered but just a few days late. However, the print colors were not as agreed upon on our proof, and did not follow the Pantone colors as shown on the proof. The lighter color of print, which as to be a pale beige/off white, was a very bright white when it arrived, and ruined the design. The company made no effort to custom match the ink color as shown on the proof. Order ******* was also delayed in production, but is in transit and should arrive only a couple of days late. The problem order is *******, for which the company will not give an accurate delivery date, and on 9-14-23, the representative who finally called me back, stated the or may be done between **** and ****, but they really "didn't know". This was just a week after a different rep promised us that they order would be complete no later than ****. The customer service is very difficult to get ahold of; they have only answered the phone 2 times out of the 15+ times I have had to call and the voicemail box is frequently full. When they do call back, several days after leaving a message, the phone system is so bad you cannot hear what they say.

    Hello. After filing this complaint, the business has contacted us and resolved the complaint to our satisfaction. The owner/manager reached out to us personally and offered and acceptable resolution and answered our questions and compensated us for the issue experienced. While the business appears to remain somewhat short staffed (as is an issue for many employers), they did what was needed to help right this situation. Thank you for your assistance during this process.

    My husband placed an order with them over 3 months ago. We have been given endless "your order will ship by XX/XX/XXXX" dates. Within the last 2 weeks we received 2 boxes of our 100 shirt order. Still missing many shirts. we have both been contacting them daily and they just give us more bs dates that we will get the remainder of the order. We are now 2 days away from out event that these shirts were for and we still don't have them all or even tracking for them. Looking at other reviews on this company around the internet, there are MANY people having the same issue. I don't know what to do, so i thought maybe id try filing a claim here.
