November, 6 called and reported that our garage can had been damaged so bad could not close the lid, and wheels were broken and the container had been crushed. The lady told me I would have one delivered by November 20,. I called back on November 20 the same lady told me it was 14, working days she counted and said it would be November 24, . Called back on November 24, talked to the same lady again, "she stated that she never gives dates and that there is still Saturday and really couldn't say, at that time i wished her a good day and she did the same" tried to call someone in management and received the same number!!Business Response

Hello. Im writing today because Im very unsatisfied with the services Amwaste is providing .( or lack there of) . They are constantly days/ weeks late picking up my trash. As well as my neighbors. When I call in or email them to notify them, ** told several different excuses. Its beyond frustrating. Today I watched them pass right by my can and I immediately called and was toad they will be back. I doubt this is true because *** heard excuses like this before. I have been a paying customer for quite some time and I just want the services that I pay for. At this point I dont know what else to do other than to report them the Better Business Bureau. Since this company took over the old trash company they have had awful service, even the city council has talked about how bad it is and how many complaints they have had. The complaints consist of late pickups and awful customer service. Im paying for services Im not receiving this is the 3rd time in the past 2 months my trash has gone over 2 weeks before pickup I have trash overflowing. I have bags in my home smelling the house up with rotting trash and I have a newborn. I cant leave bags outside because animals will rip into them and then Im responsible for cleaning it up. This business if you could even call it that needs to be shut down. The prices are higher than the last company and they have new trucks that only require 1 person versus the usual 3. They are charging more for less labor and not even fulfilling the basics of trash collection.Initial Complaint

Weeks with no trash pickup. **************** is non existent. What's worse is the drive up our street and ignore all the houses! They can see the full trash cans on the street overflowing!Business Response

Called to start service on August 2, 2023, to date despite calling & emailing several times we still have not received a garbage can! I paid for the service that day and I cannot get any response from this company. I'm at a loss about what to do.Business Response

We have amwaste as our trash pickup service. We have not had our trash picked up for 5 weeks. When we call they tell us they have until 7pm to pick it up. That has come and gone multiple times. They said that they are behind and are trying, but they should have been able to get to us at once in 5 weeks. Animals have gotten into and we had to clean it up. We are paying for a service that we are not receiving. This is ridiculous.Initial Complaint

I sought out a trash pickup service, only to find that Amwaste was the only company to service my area. After PAYING IN FULL, for this service I had to wait a week for them to pick up on a regularly scheduled date no biggie just a week. However, that pick up date was SUPPOSED to be on the 18th of July, however it was missed. I thought it was odd, I contacted them and was assured it would be retrieved on the following Tuesday which was July 25th. To my surprise, yet again my redhead had not been picked up. I called again, they told me the truck had issues and it would be picked up Saturday July 29th. When I returned home I found my trash can had not been picked up and not only that the now over flowing can had been ransacked by an animal and I then had to pick it all up. By the time Monday rolled around I was highly upset and agin called to let them know my trash had not been picked up. However, this time the woman I spoken with was rude and said your pickup date isnt until tomorrow, so youll need to call back Wednesday. Of course, on August 2nd the day it should have been picked up they again did not pick it up. Again, I called and let them know the following day and of course I got more excuses as to why it wasnt picked up. Now the best part was last week on August 9th, the day the trash truck was finally on my street thank god right? Nope, THEY WERE ON MY ROAD DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE CAN AND STILL DID NOT PICK UP MY TRASH!! Just to be abundantly clear this company has by far been the absolute worst company I have felt with in my life! I now have 6 bags of trash on my porch, and whats in the can and none of it has been delt with. I have to constantly pick it up because of random animals, Ive wasted so many trash bags and Ive paid for a service that I have yet to receive. I setup garbage pickup service which was processed on 5/8/23 and have yet to have them pickup garbage at my residence. I began calling them on 6/1/23 and also filed a work order online. I was only told what my pickup day was and they would let them know it was not picked up. I called again about a week later because it was not picked up again and was told they would send an e-mail to a Supervisor. I never received a call or any information so I waited to see if it was picked up the next week and when it was not I called again and was told they were sending the information back over because it had not been sent to the right person. They assured me someone would be out by my next scheduled day which is supposed to be Tuesday of every week. When they did not show up again I called and was connected to a team lead who said they would credit my account and have a Supervisor call me. No credit was given and no one ever contacted me. I called back again and asked for a Supervisor but was told they were busy but that they would have them call me as soon as possible but again I never received a call. I have paid for service for **** and **** ************ Dr to have weekly garbage pickup and no one has ever been to either residence to do what I am paying for. Every work order created on my account shows completed but no one has even tried to help me get this issue resolved.Initial Complaint

It has been nothing but a headache getting service set up through them. I set up service on July 5 and also needed a trash can. They told me it would be 14 days to get one delivered. There was no option for me to be able to pick one up myself. So we are forced to go weeks without a trash can. Then I call to check the status of the trash can and they tell me they didn't process my order on the 5th and I will not get my trash can until the 24th. They tell me I can just sit my bags out by the road and they will pick them up. Well... Trash day comes and I see the truck drive right by my house. I call the next day and they tell me they will submit a ticket but it'll take ***** hours to have it picked up. It finally gets picked up, I call back on the 24th and they change the delivery date yet again too Friday the 28th. That same week on the 25th trash days comes and yet again they drove right past my house. I have flys and maggots collecting around the trash, I cut my hand piling up more trash because I do not have a trash can to put it in and they continue to not pick it up. I paid for a service and I am not receiving it.Business Response
