      Amwaste stopped picking up our garbage on the whole street(***** road) after June 25 2023. We are now coming up on almost 3 weeks. I have called and emailed several times. So have 3 other neighbors. For them to say weve put in a message. They have sent no one out or given anyone a response as to why our garbage will not be picked up. We need a higher power to resolve this please! Trash is overflowing in every cab and neighborhood dogs are scattering.Thank you!*******************************

      Improper Business ************************** is lack luster and I was charged a reinstatement fee after I paid my bill and had not previously been notified. The last CSR I spoke with was snappy and I got the same one twice. I was not rude but it seemed she was on the offensive when I simply had questions about a reinstatement fee which was excessive and needed clarification as to what and why. I could never speak with a manager. I can't choose my pickup date and the price for once a week pickup on a Monday is absolutely ridiculous. I tried multiple times to communicate with a manager to no avail. I sent multiple emails and the site started a response will be sent within 24 to 48 hours. It's been weeks. I included screenshootsc of my account. I've been a good customer for years but treated terribly. Even weeks later no one has answered the emails I sent. I'm looking for alternative services now. My first email was sent on 5/4. I sent another approximately one week later. Still no response. Only when I posted a ****** review last week did I get a response asking me to once again **** customer support and add ****** Review to the subject. I did and still no response on this Friday 5/26/23.

      trash pick up days are on wednesday, today is friday with a holiday coming up monday. my entire neighborhood trash has not been picked up and i called and telling me that they will turn it in and this will be resolved within the next 24 to 48 hours, this is not the 1th, 2nd or 3rd this have happened, now we have to wait on birds and dogs to destroy our trash before a next garbage pick up if we get one and we having to pay for very bad service.

      Good afternoon,

      I do apologize for the issues you've experienced with your garbage collection.  There have been a few occasions where some of our routes may be delayed a day or so due to being short-staffed or unexpected delays.  We work very diligently to try to have all of our customers serviced on their scheduled days and are always looking for options to ensure this happens.  We do thank you for your understanding.

      The route you are on had a different driver running it this particular week, so they weren't able to finish it completely since they run it a bit slower and being unfamiliar with it.  I do know it was completed the following morning.  Please let ** know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

      We have trash pickup that should occur every Monday. I had my trash picked up as scheduled on 3/27. Afterwards my trash wasnt picked up again until 4/10. We celebrated Easter weekend with 14 days worth of trash on our curb. I called three times leading up to 4/7 and was told that a lot of people had been calling in my area. I was also told that they would try to dispatch someone to pick up our trash. ***** was picked up on the 4/17 as scheduled. (I believe..its possible it wasnt until 4/19) Weve had so many missed pickups..its hard to keep up. It was missed again on 4/24. We waited until 4/26 to call and got the same response. A lot of people had called recently in my area and they would look into it. We have had 2 out of 4 pickups for this month. I pay my bill on time. This is unacceptable. If I didnt have extra cans..I would have trash piling up in my basement or outside. If there is a driver/staff shortage..just be honest. Give me warning. I expect my trash to be picked up if Im paying my bill. We also noticed today 4/26 that all my neighbors have their cans off the curb. It appears my street is the only street that didnt get picked up. Retaliation for my number our phone calls around Easter maybe? There is no way that after so many calls that my street was the only one missed by accident. I am absolutely fed up. Just please keep your end of the contract up.

      The update is that we have once again had our trash pickup day missed. This has happened 2-3 times since the complaint was closed, but we chose not to worry about it. The contractor always came within 1-2 days to get it. This time thoughmy entire neighborhood and everyone on my street had their trash picked up. Our house is the only one that didnt as far as we can tell. My wife was home Monday ( our scheduled pickup day) and said she heard the trash truck moving though the neighborhood. We do not understand how our house was the only one that didnt get picked up out of the entire neighborhood. Please let me know if you need anything else.

      Since the start of 2023, our trash can has been missed a total of 9 times. I have called customer service multiple times and sent an email. I have also reached out to my county commissioner by phone and email about this issue. I paid over $70 the first 3 months of the year to have my trash picked up 4 times. This is absolutely ridiculous. I was told by customer service that my can wasn't by the road one week. My trash can stays by the road and has been in the same place since we moved to this address. I have multiple cameras pointing toward my trash can and you can clearly see the driver go right by it. Whenever I'm not accused of the issue being my fault, I'm told that someone will be by in 24 to 48 hours and this has NEVER happened. It will always be the following scheduled pick up day. A family of 4 produces a lot of trash in 2 weeks time and with ** living in the county it is a never ending battle of picking up trash out of my yard from animals digging in my overflowing can on a daily basis. I have asked to speak to a manager/ supervisor on multiple occasions and I'm always told i will get a call back and i have yet to get a call or email. My latest missed pickup was on Monday April 10, 2023. I got in my truck and tried to catch the driver but passed a can delivery guy at a neighbors house and stopped and told him the driver missed my can. He seemed very concerned and said I'm going to stop him now and send him back. Nobody ever came. I have run out of options for getting this issue resolved and have grown very exhausted from constantly calling/ emailing to complain. I just want the service that i pay for to be fulfilled.       Personally called and spoke with ************************** concerning service issues.  Unfortunately, we were having an issue with the driver on his route.  This has since been resolved and a new driver covers his route.  A one month credit of $26.04 was applied to ****************************** account for the frequently missed pick-ups.  He seemed pleased with the results and has my personal phone number to contact me direct for any issues going forward.

      For several months, I have asked to receive a paper bill. When we switched from the other vender, they made a dup account for me. Sometimes, when I call in, i have to go through this whole spill to get the correct account. I have to call every month to get a statement from them, AND NEVER RECEIVED ONE. I told the customer service person, I need a bill to pay it. Her reply was : I can set you up on auto pay. I said : why set-up auto pay and I haven't recv'd a bill. The next month, I pull up my account online, and i have a re-instatement fee $50. I immediately call back in asking for a Manager ( I'm still waiting for a callback 5 month later). All I wanted was a paper bill and the re-instatement fee $50 removed. What was re-instated? Service has never been stopped. Also when they picked up my trash, they took my personal trash can, left their can. I cannot wait for an other trash/waste company to come in my area. **************** is Horrible!

      ********************* - Amwaste Billing Manager shared the following information:

      I spoke with ************** after crediting the reinstatement fee for Jan/Feb/Mar.  *** is aware that the payment for Apr/May/Jun is due by this Friday, or another suspension and fee will be assessed.  I've verified that her invoices are set to be mailed, and that the mailing address on file is correct.  I also checked last week's payment reminder Call Fire batches.  Her phone number received a call which was live answered, and then disconnected after 7 seconds of the message (the portion of the message that states we have not yet received payment for the most recent invoice).  
      I advised customer to change to emailed invoices to ensure that invoices were not lost in the mail.  *** does not wish to receive emailed invoices at this time.  I advised that her next invoice will be mailed out mid-June and would be due by July 1st.  I emailed a copy of her most recent invoice, and ****** mailed a printed copy.  I advised the customer to let me know if she does not receive a mailed invoice in June for July/Aug/Sept before July 1st.

      On 02/17/23 I emailed asking for a 2nd garbage can for my residence. On 02/21/23, I called requesting the 2nd garbage and work Order ****** was created and was told it would be 3 weeks for delivery. On 02/28/23 I received an invoice for $17.59 for the second can, of which I paid. 03/16/23 I called inquiring about the 2nd can and was told it would be delivered that week. 03/22/23 I called again requesting the 2nd garbage can and was told it would be delivered on Saturday 03/25/23. Nothing was delivered. On 03/27/23 I called again and talked to ******* and asked for a manager. She would not give me a managers name and said there are several managers and one would call me back. I tried to email *********************** the *** of Matter Management and have not received a response. Our garbage pickup is Tuesday and we were overflowing so we put an Advanced Disposal Garbage can out to see if they would pick it up on 03/28/23 and they did. Today 03/31/23, I looked online and saw that my work order was closed. I called and talked to ******** who told me they delivered the can on 03/28. I explained they did not and she said because they bought Advanced Disposal they consider that my 2nd can and closed the work order. I then asked for my $17.59 that I paid for a 2nd can since 02/28 and was told they do not give refunds. I asked for a managers name and hesitantly was given ***** but no phone number and then asked for her/his managers name and was given ***** and I asked if that was ***************** and she said yes. Their customer service is awful. They have the same email and phone number on everything with no way to communicate otherwise. I want refund for services not rendered and an acknowledge from their management.

      I pay every 3 ****. for garbage pick up. Last Wednesday 2/8/23 I have them on Camera driving past my house they did not pick up my garbage. I called and was told to give them 24 hours they would come they never did. Called back on last Friday they issued me a $5 credit. Today 2/15 they drove past my house again did not stop to pick up my garbage. The supervisor ***** stated they are short on managers and they will get to it once the supervisors of the drivers has a chance to call them back. If I'm paying over $70 for garbage pickup I need my garbage picked up on time. They told me to leave it out and someone would come by and get it they didn't. They are sorry and Jefferson County needs to go with another vendor. I shouldn't have to keep calling since they don't want to do their jobs.

When I was made aware of the situation this afternoon through *********************** with ********* County, we took the following steps:  Sent 2 contact emails to the email address you had provided to the County, contacted our driver for the missed service and required his return to provide service, receipt of service confirmation to the accountable route manger, and left a voicemail on your cellular phone to ensure satisfaction of service. You will be in receipt of the 95 gallon cart to place materials in for service no later than Friday of this week. If there is anything I/we can do further to resolve this issue, please let me know. I have left my personal cellular number on your voicemail.
