      After repeated missed pickups and escalations to Cards via phone and email. I chose to cancel my service in late April. Called Cards and spoke with a female agent - she pulled up all my complaints on file. I advised her to cancel effective May 1st. At that time they still owed me a month of pickups and agreed to credit the May bill.
      Of course I am still getting invoices for trash pickup. I responded via the Cards email contact system that I was not paying any more invoices since service had been cancelled.
      Well that did nothing to stop them from continuing to invoice. I finally convinced the driver to stop collecting the trash and remove the bin.
      Called again today , and spoke with a Cards female agent, now she advicsed they do not cancel dumpster service without a salesman contacting me first. I told her to go ahead and have a sales rep call me if they want, but this was my last communication to them.
      Reminds me of the Mafia days with Waste management.

      I cancelled my trash service with Cards on 3/19. They stated they would be charging a fee to pick up THEIR trash can. I told them at that time I would not be paying $25 for them to come get THIER trash can, she laughed and said, I know but we have to tell you. I continue to get bills from them for picking up THEIR trash can, which includes a late fee as well. This has been a ongoing issue with Cards doing this to everyone who cancels service with them.

      Cards Recycling has missed at least 5 of 12 months of trash pick-ups at my house. They have been paid for those months with no billing adjustment but promises to pick up. At first they said it was my fault when they were going to the incorrect address initially, then it was Sorry, we just missed you, then it was we have not missed any pick-ups. They have also changed my account without notification, they have continually increased their price month to month. They are not just doing this to me, everyone I know has had similar issues, I also believe they have created a monopoly in our area.

      Our regular trash collector was bought by this firm about a year ago. We tried them for a while but they were, more often than not, late or did not show up at all for our regular weekly trash service. Finally, after about 6 months we cancelled and went with another trash service. We have tried over and over again for months to get Cards to come pick up their trash receptacle. They respond that it’s been scheduled to happen and it never does. It is their property and I don’t want it on my land anymore, and yet they won’t just say it’s abandoned.

      I paid for service for the month of February and the month of march and my trash has not been picked up once I called and they said they where putting in a work order to get it picked up but yet nothing has happened I then told them after waiting 1 week after the work order was put in that I wanted to end my service with them and they explained that I was under contract and I could not cancel

      CARDS recycling has a direct draw from my bank account each month. My trash is to be collected on the second Monday of every month. In February, it was not collected until the last week in February. In March it has not been collected. My trash is overflowing. My neighbor had to come and stomp it down to keep it from blowing out. It is a health hazard as well as an ecological hazard when trash blows out in these high winds.

      I have kept MY end of the contract. They have not.
      No one returns my calls! They have lied about coming to pick up my trash!
      I have several witnesses !

      CARDS trash service has not picked up my weekly trash for 3weeks now. I have called 4 times in 3 days and I get the same answer…. We have put in a work order and they will be out today, and that was 4 days ago!!!!! Today is March 13th and my last service day was Feb 25!!!! They never give me a reason as to why no one has picked up my trash???? I have called and spoke with supervisors and get the same lousy excuse!! And to top that off they charged me today for Aprils service!!! I haven’t even received one day of service for March!!????

      Cards bought out our previous trash company. In the beginning we did not complain for sporadic service since we thought they were having trouble after newly acquiring the area. However service continued to be just random trash pickups with the worst months having 1 pickup only. We were always charged for weekly pickups and the amounts went up each year. We just had to keep our can out every day since we never knew when that 1 day would be that they finally showed up. We bought numerous additional cans or used boxes since we could not contain the extra trash. Finally, My husband could handle it No longer and canceled the service and asked for a refund. No one came to get the can for 4 weeks and we did not have any correspondence. I called since our balance online had gone up. I was told that she would try to waive the late fees (since I had disputed the charge online) but we had not complained often enough so we probably would have to pay the full amount. It has been a month since I called the last time. No one has responded but my balance has increased, again. I'm guessing they are not going to contact me and each month this will increase until it is sent to collections.

Since the cancellation occurred after December had already started, our policy requires service to continue through the end of the quarter. However, to help resolve this matter, we will be removing the charges for December, along with one late fee. The remaining balance will remain due, as services were provided in both October and November. We also reviewed your concern about missed services. Our records show no missed pickups prior to your cancellation request on December 5th for the fourth quarter. The notes indicate that two cans were placed out for pickup, but only one can was being serviced, as the account was billed for just one.       I cancelled service with them back in January, and they never picked up their trash bins as they stated to me, in addition to that they are trying to charge me for them, even after cancelling trash service, they have been sitting at my curb waiting to be picked up since I cancelled, and it has become an issue for me because I am having issue with my HOA about them sitting at the curb. When I contacted the business, they were not helpful at all.
