use their turn around time is too long. Now, I'm being told that a special order cannot be cancelled for whatever reason. That is just ridiculous! The company basically holds me hostage for an item that I have not received. Very unethical from this company. The customer was notified that the items he ordered where considered a "special order". Special order items have longer lead times and are not eligible for cancellation. The customer must confirm they agree with the special order terms before we proceed with the order. I have cancelled the order for part number ******(FMF PowerCore 4 HEX Slip-On Kasawaki KLX250) this one time. The Yoshimura AT2 Stainless 3/4 Exhaust w/ Stainless Muffler, p/n 14642CP521, is shipping to the customer and is no longer eligible for cancellation. We ordered **** TE37 wheels on April 12, 2022 from Vivid Racing, sales *********************************, and prepaid $2375 deposit via Paypal. The wheels had the following specs. **** TE37 Ultra 20"x9.5", 5x114, et 40 x 2. 20"x8.5", 5x114 et 36 x 2. We were told delivery in 6-8 months. After 6 months, we have contacted them monthly via phone and email. Sadly, they don't respond to most voice mails or emails. After finally asking to speak to a supervisor, we are told new dates such as December 2022, January 2023, March 2023, April 2023. Each date the wheels have never arrived. Now they are saying September 2023 after we were told they were done in December 2022 and have an email confirming wheels were done in February 2023. Despite the wheels supposedly being done, each date proposed the wheels have never arrived. They have also never explained the cause for the delay. We Spoke to a manager, *************************, on April 7th. He said we would get a refund. This was followed up by sales agent saying no to the refund.Initial Complaint

I received an email 5/22/2023 asking for the information on the shipping damage that I already supplied over 2 months ago. I have resubmitted the information and pictures as requested. Still no mention about the warrantee repair of the seat fan. According to my Recaro warrantee paperwork I must go through Vivid Racing for warrantee claims.So far nothing is resolved, and I am rejecting the Vivid Racing response that so far has been only lip service with no follow through. We will see if anything happens. Thanks to BBB for getting a response.d no response after my purchase and initial contact. I am unable to get a response from the salesman *********************** xt (246) or anyone at the company after numerous attempts via phone (10), email (20), and chat (5). I tried to file a shipping claim with ***** immediately upon delivery, but it was denied without the waiver from the Vivid Racing and Recaro. I called the Recaro *** distributor (the seats were dropped shipped) and left a voicemail but never received a return call. I emailed Recarro and received no reply. According to my Recaro warrantee paperwork I must go through Vivid Racing for warrantee claims. I am stuck as there is no customer service and I am unable to exercise the warrantee. Paying this much for seats I expect them to be functional and cant resolve this having them as the vendor. Had I seen the number of complaints filed I would never have ordered anything from Vivid Racing.Business Response

I ordered two wheels from Vivid Racing on March 27th, 2023. I the received a confirmation via email. Several days passed without any tracking. So I contacted their customer service on March 31, 2023 to check status on the order. I was told it was coming from the Manufacturer and was not set tp ship to me until September 22nd, 2023. I could not wait that long, as my car was wheel-less and not drivable. So I cancelled the order that day... March 31st, 2023. I received a Cancelation confirmation via email.I paid Via AFFIRM (a payment service). It has been a month now and the funds have still not been returned..... I am now having to make payments on item I cancelled and NEVER received to stay in good standing. I was told repeatedly that they would follow up on the cancellation.Initial Complaint

Vivid Racing is deceptive and dangerous.This has been a phenomenal disappointmentDO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a set of titanium lug studs with ball seat tuner lugnuts specifically (per their website)for my 2019 Audi TT RS.This company shipped me a set of titanium, lug, studs, and Standard ball seat Lugnuts.I didnt complain about them sending me the wrong Lugnuts, as I assumed I had missed a checkbox or something. when I attempted to install them, I found that the thread pitch was incorrect, and it made them extremely hard to thread into my hubs. Most of them, with some work, I could back out and thread forward and back out and thread forward until they would go in all the way but one specifically was not cut correctly and would not thread into my hub. I consequently snapped three different ***** head sockets, attempting to work at back-and-forth until I got it into the hub. Of course, this was on the very last wheel so we had to go back and take all three of the other wheels back off and pull all 20 of the studs back out. I then proceeded to clean them with a wire brush to get all of the Loctite off that they had recommended I use to install them, then, when I filed the return request, and specifically told them that I tried to install them, and they did not work, they put me off for several days and sent me several emails over a two week periodSaying they were going to address the issue. I finally got someone to respond and they sent me a very polite email, saying if there was any damage to the packaging or marks on anything that they would refuse my return.Please refer to the pictures below as their reason for refusing my return Understand that it is possible to polish metal, so any light marks on their amazingly strong, titanium, lugstuds or nuts probably shouldnt have been possible, but should be easily polished out by a place that manufactured them in the first place. What they have pointed out on these Lugnuts was literally one attempted install and then removal They were on my car for a total of 45 minutes because thats how long it took me to figure out that the kit they sent me would not work! I question if they are actually titanium at all.Also, notice how beautiful the parts are that I returned, and understand that working in the garage on an automobile is filthy I took the time to wipe them all down and scrub them clean as well as possible, prior to returning them in an effort to be a respectful consumer.I knew at this point they were going to attempt to refuse the return, even though they sent me the wrong product in the first place. To set a timeline, I received the product approximately March 26, I attempted to install the product March 27. I then spent two weeks trying to get someone to pay attention to the fact that they sent me an item incorrectly. I shipped them the return on April 16 they received it April 22 and then sent me an email stating they were not going to accept the return April 24 because I had attempted to install the product How would I ever know that a set of lug studs and ******* didnt work if I didnt attempt to install them?! And when I told them that there was a problem installing them, thats why I was returning them. Why would they not have addressed it at that time?This company is extremely deceptive, their customer service is the worst Ive ever been associated with, and they will do anything they can do to steal and keep your money!Initial Complaint

On 3/16/2023 I purchased the 2015-2017 **** Mustang Duraflex GT350 Look Fenders - 2 Piece from Vivid Racing. The total for this product was $856.51. I received the product on 3/22/2023. When I opened the box on 3/26/23, I immediately saw that the first fender had defects and gouges. I requested a return immediately and sent pictures of my concerns. I then contacted Vivid after the *************************** their return response. When Vivid responded they asked for more pictures(supposedly for the manufacturer). I sent the pictures as requested. I later ask for an update and they asked for more pictures. I even told them that I felt like everyone is stalling. I get another request for pictures from Vivid and I send more pictures. On 3/18/2023 I get another request from Vivid stating that they need more pictures. I have done everything they requested and at this point, I feel like they are not working in good faith and I am a victim of fraud. They deliberately sent me a product that was clearly defective and now refuses to refund my money.Initial Complaint

Ordered truck part on 3/17/23. Total was $87.39. Received email saying it would be drop shipped from manufacturer, and if on back order, I would be able to keep or cancel order. I called them on 3/31, they said the product wasnt showing to be back in stock for another 3 to 5 days (item showed in stock when ordered, and never received an email saying any different). I told her Id like to just cancel the order, so she supposedly put in a cancellation request. The same day I received an email with a tracking number of a package that was delivered on 3/28, to someone in *******. I called them back in 4/14 to see what was going on, but didnt really get anywhere with them. They supposedly sent another cancellation request in, even though I was speaking to the cancellation department, which makes no sense. Ive not heard anything else from them. I believe they are scammers just like CPP Diesel. Ive been trying to get a refund from them for almost 2 years now!Initial Complaint

Sorry, but I would not buy from this company again. Had a terrible experience with the customer support/return department. All over a $100 part. Short story is what I ordered based off the photo and what I received did not come close. I had to call and reorder because of the mistake they made on the part I needed. Then when the part I needed came in I sent back the part that I did not need. Then they said it was outside the 30 day window and I would then be charged again to have the part that would fit returned with no refund. All of this for a $100 part. On March 14th 2023 I purchased a VR Tuned ECU tuning box kit. The salesperson ensured me this item would work on my vehicle. After one week of using this device I contacted Vivid Racing in regards to the poor performance, and the item not working. I was informed that this item would not work with my vehicle with current modifications installed. I was then offered a refund upon drop off of the item. It has been over 15 days since this item has been returned. I have contacted this company numerous times via email. I keep receiving the runaround.
