      My ac compressor just went out. I called and asked what it would cost for a new compressor flush the system replace desiccant filter expansion valve new seals and recharge the system. The guy proceeded to say that he did think the compressor was the problem kept asking are you sure are you sure. Repeating yes I am sure. I know what Im talking about I use to be a mechanic I just dont have the time to do this myself.. I am not an idiot and I dont appreciate being treated like one. Failure to listen to your customers lost my business.

      CONSUMER BEWARE - Sun Devil Auto - ***************** Heights in ******************** My 78 year old Father in Law took his car into Sun Devil Auto last week just to get an AC charge. Sun Devil not knowing he use to be a mechanic and knew exactly what his car needed, tried to charge him over $2,000.00. Told him he had a leak in his water pump and compressor and need a complete cooling system flush. Of course, he declined. My husband made him an appointment at ************ for a diagnosis and a dye test...guess what...no leaks just needed a coolant charge $230.00 later. Exactly what my Father in Law told Sun Devil. Thank you @Big2Toyota for your honesty and not ripping off someone just cause of their age!!!!Edit: I forgot to mention, when my FIL declined service from Sun Devil, he got his car back and AC didn't work at all anymore. When he drove in it worked, just wasn't blowing cool enough for him.

      I sent in my camaro to get it checked out for a clink making a left turn. They found that it was a lower control arm and quoted me ****** we declined because the part is 200 so there is no reason for us to pay that much. So they decided to s**** up my car more. I drive it home and it's clunking extremely loud just going straight. They loosened our sway bars in reubuttle. We used to think of them as a nice store, and have 5 cars they could be maitencing for easy money. Now they have ****** me off and lost their self on income. What a s***** compay with a scummy way of running business. I wouldn't touch that company with a 10ft bar anymore.

      I have been going to the ********** SunDevil (#****) Auto Shop for 15 years. I have always been pleased with the many services made to my 2008 automobile and especially with the customer **********************. No More! It seems there has been a management change as well as an entire new crew of mechanics. I took my car in as the engine splash guard was drooping low to the ground. They removed the splash guard and informed me that the center bracket broke in half and would need to be replaced. Then they looked it up and told me that because it wraps around the radiator, the radiator would have to be removed and then replaced, the entire cost would be approximately $800.00! I told them to leave the splash guard off and could they secure the broken piece to keep it attached. The manager on duty told me he could not do that and I should take it to an auto body shop! The past management and mechanics would have helped me out right there! I left and went right across the street to *******************. They put the car up and within 20 minutes had secured the broken piece with a bold and two sturdy zip ties! And did not charge me a cent! Well, this is now my place of service. Sun Devil could take lessons on how to treat their customers from this establishment!

      If I could give this place zero stars I would I have been coming here for over 6 years never had a problem until today when I had to deal with a short rude little worker named ****** or ******, he had zero customer ********************** and didnt seem like he knew what he was doing. He treated me unfairly and had an attitude... when you work with people for a living you have to have some sort of customer **********************, this guy has none and got into a verbal altercation with him. How he still has a job is beyond me. Location *****************************************

      The right passenger tire was not put on correctly, resulting in minor damage although VERY lucky there was no "wheel-off" while driving as I caught it early enough after driving on it a month later. These guys are NOT mechanics as they can't even check the lugs on a tire after taking the wheel off. Definitely not trustworthy. This was the location in ********* on *********.

      The Sun Devil Auto location on ****************** in ********, ** is terrible. I never post negative reviews, but they have now ordered a part for my car TWICE that doesn't even exist for my car. When they FINALLY figured it out, they ordered the correct part (or so they say), but after spending over $300, my check engine light was still on, and they refused to take care of it before I left that day because they said they were closing soon (this was at 3:30pm and they close at 6p). They told me I would need to come back so they could investigate further. I've since had an auto parts store run a FREE diagnostic and it pulled the same code that they were supposed to fix. The dealership told me that not only was that part bad, but they created what looked like an oil leak that they did not clean while putting in the faulty part. Now I have to spend MORE to get everything fixed at the dealership. If you do drive a foreign car, do NOT bring it to Sun Devil Auto in Surprise. You will only end up with less money in your pocket, and nothing actually repaired.

      Definitely pleased with the service they provided me. They took care of my problem without any hesitation. Im glad that good people still exist unlike the **** tire shop that tried to sell me all 4 tires when there was no need! However thanks to ****************** who got the job done. Ill definitely come back just because of the awesome customer **********************!!!

      I have been going to the location on San ****** in ********** and have never had any issues. Amazing staff and reasonable repair costs. I will never go anywhere else.!!!!!!!!
