      Terrible, terrible costumer service. Didnt show up at all after emailing me a reminder that they would. Took off a day from work for nothing. **************** rep was completely indifferent. How do they stay in business?

      water heater installation on 02/22/24. the next day furnace stopped working. The furnace was tampered with now I am left with trying to get it repaired. I will not go through ********** for any installation if this type of behavior is being performed.

      Terrible customer service. I requested a quote from ********** for a Hot water heater installation. They quoted me $1900 which was cheaper than some other companies. They gave me a time frame from 2-4 I told them this wouldn't work because of work conflicts. They said they had a later time from 4-6 I said Okay my wife gets off at this time make sure the technician does not show up till then. Well, I get a text and email saying the tech was on the way. 30 minutes before the time I told them. I get a call from a Scam likely number. I don't answer and let it go to Voice mail. No voice male cool. I get home. Technician doesn't show. Wait around longer. Find it odd that they said he would be there. I finally call. The **************** rep was the rudest I have ever encountered. He tried to say he called twice. Nope just once. I told him about the scam call he said it was him. I asked Why did you not leave a voice mail? I would have answered a voice mail. He blames me says he called twice. I get heated tell him to leave a f***ing voice mail next time. That it was their fault this happened. He hung up on me for using "Vulgar Language." Nah he hung up on me because they were in the wrong. I call back get a different lady and file a complaint. They wanted to do the install the next morning. I already left work early to try to get there on time and they screwed up. I checked my ring camera. Sure, enough the guy showed up 10 min after the text a full 20 min before the agreed upon time. Never again. Lied to by **************** and blamed when all he had to do was leave a voice mail or show up on his scheduled time and not 20 min. early.

      I had a hot water heater installed by Delta Mechanical that I bought from *********** It failed inspection by the city because it was supposed to have a 12 inch clearance to the ceiling. There is a 7 inch clearance. *** tried to contact someone from Delta Mechanical at least 12 times by phone and no one has ever returned my call to tell me when the problem will be fixed. Its been 2 months and still no communication from Delta mechanical. I also e mailed them still no response. I just want it to be fixed so it can pass inspection from the city. I need help.

      The installer, *********************************, for ******** Delta Mechanical was wonderful.He was professional, polite and installed the water heater as quickly as possible.The scheduling which the installer has no control of was not professional and not good. ******* missed his appointment times three times due to their scheduling. The company did not schedule his appointments with enough time to get to a site and then do the work. He was pressured to meet THEIR unreasonable time frames.This company is the installer for *********** ********** needs to address the issues I mentioned with the company. Both companies should do better.

      I got overcharged.It was my fault.I should have shopped around. I paid $1900 and ******************* said it should have been $1400 *** I figured H o m e d e p o t wouldnt milk their customers.I WAS WRONG

      Worst Company ever!@@ They do not respond to phone calls. Never return calls, they're customer service *****. They are way over priced. They tried to charge us over $5,000 just to install a tankless water heater (Rinnai)... We are installing it ourselves... ************ is too expensive and unwilling to work with customers..

      I contacted Delta Mechanical thru ********** about a hot water replacement in my home. Their rep came out and quoted approx $2800. When the installer came out, he looked at the system and said he had to replace the venting to bring it up to city code, at an additional cost of about $900, which he said he could discount by $100. I said no dice and he left. Unfortunately, I was compelled to use them anyway and okd the piping cost. When the project was complete, I had the city inspector come out. He Okd the install. I asked him if it was necessary to change the piping to come up to code. He looked at the manual and said absolutely not. Delta has refused to own up to their tactics, saying only that the grade of piping that was in place was a substandard grade for the new tank. Of course, they walked off with all the piping they took down, so they cant prove or disprove their contentions. They did not even offer the original discount of $100. When I had to have them back out to fix a minor leak, I discussed the piping with them, including the inspectors statements. They only said, Sorry about that. Additionally, while hauling the new tank into my house, the guy severely damaged a decorative slate step at the front door. And he turned on the water to the outdoor sprinkler system which was drained for the season. All I was asking for is half of the piping cost in refund. The lady I talked to on the phone from Delta offered me $75, but as of this writing, I have not seen it. So I am out at least $900 unnecessarily plus any potential damages to the step and/or sprinkler system. Reading other reviews, it appears that this is how Delta runs their business. I will never, under any circumstance, do business with Delta Mechanical again.

      ******** Delta Mechanical installed my new water heater thriugh Hime Depot. When they came to install the water, the installers manager told me on the phone that a 3 vent pipe is required as per ********** City code and that it needs to be changed from the existing 2 vent pipe and it will cost me another $950 extra for it. I told him that my house is quite new built in 2014 and it should be per the current code. He said that the code had change since then, and if I dont change it, it will not pass the city inspection. So I had no choice but to agree to them. . On 11/16/23 the ********** city inspector came and I asked him about the change in code requiring 3 vent pipe. He said that the codes have not been changed at all, and they go by the installation booklet which clearly states that a 2 pipe or 3 pipe can be installed. He said that they shouldnt have changed it, because the existing 2 vent pipe was per code. I called Delta mechanical but was given run around telling me that the supervisor ***** will call back and then the manager ****** will call back. Its been two days given the run around no word from them.

      ********** advised id to call ********************** for water heater installation. We called DM and spoke with *******, who misled us and gave us a low quote. The installer came out and confirmed the quote but when he came back to install it he removed our old one then immediately advised of additional costs for items already included. Later we found installers get commission on any additional install costs. They put in the wrong expansion tank . After several more calls we were told another installer would replace the expansion tank and check the other issues. The new installer agreed the expansion tank was too small and replaced it at no charge. He agreed the added copper pipe should have been included in the normal install. He replaced one shut off valve that should have been included. ******* had told us he takes care of the original warranty with ***** and would file all necessary paperwork. Checking on the Rheem website, the information was inaccurate. Delta told us to contact ***** directly since they dont do the warranty which was untrue because they sent the inaccurate information. When we spoke to ***** to discuss who we could have make any repairs if ever needed, they also corrected the warranty information. ******* also said he had submitted the paperwork for the extended warranty through **********. When checking, there was no extended warranty. The main office said there was an issue and they had to refund and then recharge and then file the warranty which was done. We were led to believe that we had to go through Delta Mechanical to get the warranty and for any warranty repairs. After talking to ***** we found out this is not true. We can go to any authorized Rheem plumber for repairs and Rheem can give us those names/contacts. Delta Mechanical is an out of state company and very difficult to deal with. They list a local office but it is an ******* company. We hope this review helps others to avoid the issues we experienced.
