  I wanted to replace an Echosmart 11 tankless water heater in my house. I went online and found the product at *********** When placing the order ********** asked if we wanted them to get company to install. We agreed and Delta Mechanical sent an estimate for $814 labor to install without looking at project. To get the product I had to sign agreement. I thought $814 was to install wiring and hookups and would be adjusted after install. The technician took less than an hour to hook up intake and out water hookup and plug it in. When I called the customer service line I was told that was their standard installation charge and if I could find a licensed plumber to quote lower price they would refund the difference 10% than that quote. Buyer beware, this is no way to conduct a business

  I had a tech come out and he looked at my water heater and told me I am sorry I can't install your water heater because of the two pipes that were coming out from under the house for the water heater. I ended up calling a different company to come out and that company installed my water heater.

  Read your reviews and our experience was like just one review. Received callback call immediately and they stated the technician would be here between 12 and 3. Received a call from the technician at 11:57 said he picked up the waterheater and would be there in 15 minutes which he was exactly. Worked for about 2hrs and 30 minutes and was off. Great job professional all the way. Guess we got a great technician.

  I ordered a water heater and installation by phone, answered and the questions about the location, access etc. I specifically told the 'agent' about two natural gas lines/pipes that would have to be temporally move out of the way to remove/install the heater. I was quoted a price and agreed to place an order. Trouble began with the installation time, I called them a few minutes before noon, the sign at the water heater display in my local ********** said words to the effect: order before noon for same day installation. Apparently because the order wasn't completed before noon next day installation was scheduled. The appointment time window I selected was not correct in the email acknowledgement and the installers arrived 1/2 hour late for the appointment time window in the acknowledgement. There was a significant language problem, the 'plumber' did not speak English and the 'tech' had to act as interpreter. The 'plumber' decided that an additional $150 was necessary because of the two gas lines I told the 'agent' about apparently were not noted/included in the price quote. Delta Mechanical refused to waive the $150 and I sent them away. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE

  They did a great job at installing the water heater, but they overpriced me. They quoted me for one price and the total end up being more than $200 more than what they said. I called them to let them know. They said they would get in contact with the person who quoted me so he can call me and go over that issue, that was almost a month ago. I know Ill never use them again or even recommend them. Like I said, The job was done right but they shared me $1000 just to install and all theyre little add ones that dont make sense. But oh well, ****** learned ??

  Technician didn't know how to turn the water off in order to install a water heater. Fired him on the spot. He said it wasn't his house so of course didn't know. Any plumber worth his salt should know basic procedures.

  They stalled and danced around the need to install my hot water heater FOR 3 MONTHS. Repeated calls did nothing. Legal action may be my only recourse at this time.

  I contacted ********** for a professional install on their website for a "Rheem Gladiator 50 Gal. Tall 12 Year 5500/5500-Watt ************** Water Heater with Leak Detection and Auto Shutoff". They contacted me said the Rheem is 58 inches which I confirmed on the sites spec pages. They said the total cost would be ****+ which I thought okay half the cost is the unit & half of labor that's fair.Install date comes, Delta installed a 200$ cheaper unit that's only a 6 year warranty instead of the one I first contacted ********** & was spec'd out for on the phone... The guy never stated the warranty but IF he did I would have corrected him ASAP. Why would someone think they'd be getting a different unit? You already picked the unit desired & ********** sent tells the contractor to call you.Company sent me the audio call & it confirmed this was Delta's fault. Don't trust a word from this company, you'd be better off installing the unit yourself.

  This company is a joke. Like a drunk uncle got a bunch of tools and said he has his own handy man business. They use Homedepo to make their invoices (Horrible/no itemising)Very unprofessional, gave me a price for a job then only did part of a 2 part job, saying that was the price for the gas line. They couldn't give me an itemised quotes to justify the price for the partially finished job. . The quote he showed me said $680 (not what I paid) he went outside and came back with the quote changed to the price i paid. They were supposed to come on Saturday to quote and install the vent they were supposed to install b4. Following me around saying I didn't ask for vents. We are installing an industrial dryer, why wouldn't I ask for the vent that fits on the unit I called you specifically for those 2 things! They are not interested in doing any real work, and when they do start they can't finish because they are full of excuses, like fighting with a toddler who says no to everything. No one was on the same page about anything just close this place down b4 they take anyone else's money.
