      Dont do any business with them We made a deal with a guy name ***** Promised us we would pay exactly for the days we use it We made a deal for 25 days We took the rv in ********** from a guy name ***** We had to shorten our trip by four days When we came back after 20 days, ***** didnt want to refund us for The days ,we didnt use it.This is not fair.Dont do any business with them . Just dont Traveled from 1april to 20 April.Paid more than ***** US dollars.

      RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN The ** was filthy when we got it. Literally there was trash tucked behind the seats and food splatter on cabinets, fridge and microwave. The salesman **** forgot a bunch of important paperwork at signing. Then sent it via email and rushed us to print, sign and pay to send back with tracking. Then once again a other forget... The title request. So it's sent from an email that has nothing to do with cruise America at all with a suspicious subject line. It went to spam immediately. They blamed me for not knowing what it was. Then with all paperwork in hand, they haven't submitted the title paperwork to the title company. They haven't extended our temp tags and I can't register my unit. They have not called me back one time in trying to fix this. I have to continue to call with ideas and phone numbers to fix their problems.

      Update: Its been 19 hours now since we were stranded; still no resolution from Cruise America.-In the wake of our distressing experience with Cruise America, their response has only exacerbated our frustration and disbelief. Initially, they offered a resolution to send a replacement ** from their Vegas location, albeit inconveniently located 3-4 hours away. Despite the inconvenience of relocating all our belongings to the new **, we reluctantly agreed to this arrangement in hopes of resolving the issue promptly.However, this morning, we were left waiting in vain for any progress or communication from Cruise America. (We are still stranded at the moment.) Instead of addressing the urgent matter at hand, they callously suggested that we simply tie up the already damaged sewage system and and drive to Zion to be fixed, despite clear evidence that the ** is not drivable in its current state. The pipes were attached by 2 hose clamps and zip ties prior to us driving it. This shows that this issue has happened with another renter in the past and now we have to deal with it too. We thought it was just leaking, but apparently, it was literally just hanging on by zip ties.To paint a picture, there are 2 elderly people in this trip (one was just at an ER), an 11 year old and me and my husband. We had to sleep in this ** overnight with the stench of excrements both in and out of the vehicle. That pipe would come off if we keep driving. To be continued..

      We rented with them twice, and both were awful experiences. Will never do again. When we returned our last rental, the franchisee said that this was the worst piece of s*** rental theyve ever seen! your customer service department was embarrassing, and absolutely worthless. I cant stress enough how bad Cruise America is in all should never go near them! Run, dont rent!!!!

      Im disheartened to hear about your experience with Cruise America, I truly hope your trip still had its great moments. I want to apologize for receiving a unit in that condition not once but twice, this is not the norm for us. ************************ called our Travelers Assistance team on the fifth day of his trip, a day before he was due in ****** **. He was requesting to drop off RV in **** **, this was not an option due to ****** location need the unit. Our TA team offer service in the **** ** location but that was not an option. ************************ was offered a credit with a Gift certificate towards a future rental, this was denied and is seeking legal counsel. Cruise America is unable to continue to assist till after any legal outcome. If ************************ decides to continue a conversation with **, please email ** at *****************************.

      1 stars not so much for the location/staff I used, but cruise america in general. I've owned several **'s and am familiar with ** systems. I rented a regular size class C for 5 days. Price was great. My unit had a broken furnace (heater) and there was mice droppings in most of the drawers. The bathroom/shower was not very clean. There was leftover gray/black water in the drain cap for the sewer. I also got a rash during the trip, not sure if there were bedbugs in the ** or not. Can't prove that one. I was threatened with a penalty for not leaving the sewer cap open (you're not supposed to drive with it open!). Apparently this is so they can be sure the tanks are 100% empty. So, essentially they want you to drain any leftover gray/black on the neighbors parking lot instead of dealing with it themselves (when you dump at the campground, it is hard to get the last few drops out). Threatened to charge for propane, even though I didn't use any (ran fridge on electric, furnace was broken!). Overall, pretty poor customer service, likely due to ********************** policies/company culture, not so much the staff at this location who seemed overall friendly. When I told the staff about the broken heater and mice droppings, they were not concerned and didn't seem to believe me. Better maintenance and cleaning would be a good idea. Unfortunately, probably would not rent an ** again from cruise america. Also, they will do what they can to keep more of your $500 deposit, it's like a game trying to avoid all their extra fees. Just stay in a nice hotel, that's my advice.

      Oct. 4, 2023 I rented the largest Cruise America ** from ********* Rentals ********, **. Nightmare in a word. I took pictures of the black mold from the a/c evaporator & the ac was never turned on again, the heater would not stay on so I'd wake up freezing every night, black water tank showed 3/4 full, the entire ** had to be cleaned as the surfaces were scummy. C*** Roaches, yes they were everywhere. To return it on Oct. 9, 2023 I had to pull off the road and clean the front windows and mirrors to see as the morning sun made it impossible to drive the vehicle going east. The engine's exhaust manifold leaked. Cruise America's answer after many many *********** calls? I was to drive into town, purchase bug spray and become a pest control expert. one morning my 5 cup coffee maker wouldn't work, thinking it was bad I drove & purchased a new one only to find later that one fuse I did not find to check was the only *** outlet the ** had was located in the bathroom. Turned out I drove 20 miles to purchase a new coffee pot for no reason. The *** outlet failed when I used the coffee maker and it's micro-wave oven at the same time, shame on me. Evidently everyone but me knows to NEVER use a small coffee pot and micro-wave in an ** at the same time. Multiple complaints to Cruise America HQ, I was offered a $198 settlement as all this was my fault from their perspective because I wouldn't upset my vacation to drive this filthy ***** coach back to be serviced some 64mi from where I rented it. 128mi round trip plus wasting an entire day! So its my fault. Really? So how many folks upset their vacation to have their CA ** serviced on their time. Sickening customer service, I want to tell everyone I can to do without rather than deal with Cruise America. Plus if I accepted CA's paltry sum I had to sign a quit claim to hold them harmless. They cover their bases well. I'm going to tell everyone of my horrid experience doing business with Cruise America. CA doesn't deserve 1 star

      The worst experience I have ever had with them and I been using for last 4 years never again. Cedar Hill location I called and found they didn't have any and it was 4 days to my event that I have attended since ****. Called Cruise America sales people great. Found me on in Carrollton. Got there the sales guy talk to much and did not get a proper walk through. Got to race track this second time my refrigerator didn't work called and complained the oven finally started working. There was issue with the propane and when we arrived the box was open to propane. I had to pay for parking finally was able to negotiate. Returning was HORRIBLE experience. I always had a broom in my vehicle to help clean. Well little ***** was left and forgot my bar of soap in shower and BF went to bathroom and forgot to clean. I said I will cleaning nope you already drove it on the lot. I was like this is ridiculous. And said it was emptied well the idiots didn't have the cap on so the dirty sewer water was on ground and emptied what we could. Charged me for that. Then I started crying I was like **** you like to nickel and dime everyone and so took the cleaning off then I got my bill and $54.11 was charged separate from the company not cruise America called credit card company did not authorize plus had issues with stove and oven. I called them with this issue and they argued with me. Again I will never use them again and the ***************** was nice and rude me. About stove and refrigerator and the return.

      Sadly I can't give a half star but our experience with Cruise America can only be described as completely awful . If you are looking to rent an **, I would choose almost anyone else you can find- literally build an ** yourself if you have to instead of using them. Cruise America pulled off the rare feat of making our 7 hour trip a 12-hour nightmare both ways. The ** we got should have never been allowed off the lot and the only logical reason it could have possibly passed their inspection is either complete laziness, outright stupidity, a greed for money despite putting in no effort, or most likely a mixture of all 3. The alignment was so bad in this truck that it tore the right wheel to shreds. When we called for help, we were basically given a shrug emoji and told to fend for ourselves because, and I quote the employee here, "it's Sunday". So, if you are taking a trip, make sure it's not on a Sunday because that is apparently a reason to not give a s*** anymore for employees all over the country, despite running a retail travel service where people are constantly traveling on Sunday. We were fortunate enough to make it home on the spare; by the time we got back, it was on it's last legs. Basically, we were given an unsafe truck to hurtle at 70 MPH down the highway with no oversight from the inspection team and zero help from the company once their s*** product failed. It was most likely my worst retail renting experience of my life. Do not use this company ever, I guarantee you it will be a terrible time and whatever you do do not use the bathroom in these, as it doesn't work. Here is a list of things you can do besides using one of these terrible **s from the worst **-rental company in America: 1) Fly yourself- I mean literally flap your arms like wings 2) Walk even if it takes you 6 months 3) Get shot out of a ****** and pray you land at your destination 4) Don't go on your trip- missing it will be better than dealing with these chuckleheads

      Cruise America has business practices that should not be allowed within this country. They take a $500 deposit and then miraculously there are surcharges and fees that take up nearly that entire amount. And you have no way of arguing them because they already have your money and their customer service is non-existent.I had the absolute worst experience renting an ** that I have had on vacation ever. The ** I had was new but it was like driving a wooden wheeled car across railroad tracks for 700 miles. **** on top of that, they charged me for 2 days over what I used the ** for because we returned it early because it was such a horrendous experience. So they could double dip and rent it out again and make money on the same days I was not getting refunded for. they charges "housekeeping" fees of $350 even thought my wife and I wiped down that entire ** before turning it in. When asked for proof of what was dirty, there only response was to give us $150 certificate to be used within the next 2 years. I would never use it because I would never rent an **. And if I did, I would not do it through them. It took me 2 weeks just to get a response form their billing department. The just over another week before I got their response that they will not be refunding me anything. Do yourself a favor and rent an SUV or something and pitch a tent in some haunted *****. Trust me you will have a better experience and cheaper because you will not have them scam your deposit out of you. I will never do business with them ever again and recommend anyone thinking about it to think of alternative ways to travel for your vacation. If they are accredited by the BBB, that should change.
