    I paid the bill the day it was due. They apparently refunded it, charged again, refunded again. Then tried to charge again (A month later) when there was no funds on the card. So then they decided to add a fee for return payment. I have receipts, conformations and all, she saw it, but nothing they can do. Terrible service and nothing we can do about it. Just at the mercy of idiots.

    Just got a receipt via email from Hertz with the following breakdown:Summary of PlatePass Charges Toll Charges: $3.95 Convenience Fee: $19.98 Total:$23.93 Amount Charged:$23.93 How is it possible (and legal) for a company to charge pretty much ANYTHING they desire under a "convenience fee", even when it is WAY MORE than the actual charge in question? Totally unfair for the customer. Incredible way of getting rich by ripping people off.

    A fraudulent company that surreptitiously charged me $145 for a week's worth of Ezpass, without an itemization. On follow up, they continue to send canned messages justifying why they charged me. To this day, they haven't provided a breakdown of these charges. If I had the foresight to bring my own EZpass, I would have paid $30 at the most and saved a $100. Their service doesn't make it easier and their fees are criminal.

    TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!! I wish I could give them zero stars! After having rented a minivan for four days at a cost of ~$500, I found out that Dollar charges a $15 admin fee EVERY TIME a toll was incurred. The tolls can be as low as $0.48, but Dollar is ABUSIVE and is expecting renters to pay a $15 admin fee (again, PER TOLL). This is particularly abusive as rental cars and tourism go hand in hand, and there is no alternative as consumers given that cash is no longer accepted at toll booths. The alternative is to pay Dollar $13 per day for a Tag, which is another day of scamming consumers out of money. Dollar knows this is wrong and I will avoid renting from them again. Terrible customer and business practices, all just to get a few more bucks out of an extraordinarily expensive rental. NEVER AGAIN!

    We rented a car from Dollar near the ************** two weeks ago. We travel out there several times a year and are very familiar with the roads to use to avoid the tolls but just to be safe, we ALWAYS use navigation with the "avoid tolls" option turned on. Today, we received a notice in the mail that our car was issued a toll charge. We know this cannot be true. To make this even more outrageous, on top of the toll of $4.60, we are being charged an administration fee of $15.00. That's three times the amount of the toll!! The notice also says it's due in six days. We believe all of this to be a fraud. Based on the number of recent complaints about all of this, we hope that there is an investigation into all of this very soon!!

    There is NO way to contact a live person, the call goes to silent. Every time I talked with FOX they gave me the same extension and number. You can never dispute or call in because you can only pay through the automated system and that is all. Corrupt and Deceitful to the fullest.

    Double charged by this company after renting a car through ******. I diligently used a transponder from ******* I bought on my own but after a week in ******* I was surprised with a $25 from Highway Toll Administration LLC on my card. After contacting a representative at ****** we surmised that I was double charged from the capture a license plate technology this company created even though I had already paid the toll with my ******* transponder. What a racket! They prey on victims not fighting them and this ************* article covers their grift.**********************************************************************************************
