Sparklight is absolutely overpriced and provides the worst service. It claims it can handle gaming (which I dont do), but can barely handle streaming *******. The cost is insane for what it offers. Especially since the services cuts and buffers constantly. I regularly use a bare minimum of my data, but am still charged over $90 for my al a carte service plan. If there were any other services in the area, I would change immediately.Sparklight

Constant intermittent service, extremely high price for 1 gig service advertised up to barely get over 700 down and ****************************** to date 1800 in revenue since I work from home. Every time I speak to customer service Im told we can credit you for a day of missed service even if its been more than a day. Was recently told by the head tech in ******, ** that its taken them months to pin point the exact cause of the intermittent issue and to be patient with them. Ive been patient with the company going on 4 years now and 2 locations but they know they are really the only high speed company thats not att or ******** Constantly raising prices on packages and equipment but never putting that money into the system that we pay for. Had a couple of issues while they were cable one but once they became Sparklight service suffered and they try to charge for tech calls saying its not there side of things. Sorry to tell you but I rent YOUR equipment and its YOUR cable and components on it is YOUR issue. If I could give this company no stars I most definitely would. We pay you for a service and are let down constantlySparklight

Since the local cable company was bought by Sparklight, my service has spiraled to the bottom. I've had a problem with receiving my premium service for over 3 months. My channels are pixelating, are not available, and/or the signal is extremely weak. Internet outages are ********* trying to resolve these issues, I have been in contact with the local St ****** office, numerous help lines and various Sparklight offices. When I scheduled a service call, the technician fails to appear after waiting from 8 am- 5 pm. The new company blames the old company and says it is "their" system that is the problem. There seems to be an endless do-loop to problem resolution. ********* has no problem billing me full price each month for premium internet and cable. It seems to be the only part of the company where the system is reliable. Each month I have to contact the local office to seek a partial refund, even though they are fully aware the services are diminished.Sparklight

Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever dealt with in my life. We have had fidelity for years with very few issues. Sparklight apparently bought them out and we was never notified our service got disconnected because our auto draft did not transfer over when they got bought out. We paid the bill and we have been on the phone for countless hours over the last 4 days with no internet. Billing says they can't do anything because it's a technical issue and technical support said they can't do anything because it's a billing issue. They keep telling us it's a 24/7 operation and they will get it fixed but then they tell the **** we need is gone for the day. We will be at the bank disputing the charges and request a refund for what we paid themSparklight

Awful company! We had cable america and I guess sparklight bought them out. Zero customer service skills. System is awful. Chat is available but not for cable america customers. Tons of outages. Online doesn't reflect recent payments, they say it takes a while to update. I had to call a 1800 number. Zero ppl in front of my call but yet took 20 mins to speak to someone who couldnt help me. Just gave excuses. Cable america I spoke with the same sweet local ladies, they helped or at least tried to get you information. Rarely had an outages. It's been hours and I work from home on Fridays. Ridiculous!Sparklight

Sparklight just bought out the local cable company, and somehow the outages have gotten worse. The customer service isn't capable of giving any information or timelines. The technicians patch problems instead of repairing them. They cost me so much more than the monthly payment I make to them. A truly horrible company. If you have a choice, choose someone else to provide your internet services.Sparklight

Service is good when it works but it stops working at least once a day for the last 5 weeks. Have had technicians out to the house multiple times and they keep saying its good. The area needs to have the infrastructure updated and the companies that keep buying this provider do the bare minimum and wont replace it. Pricing is different for everyone. I was paying old prices and found out that I could reduce the cost by going into the office. Nothing was sent out discussing new pricing and I would never have known if I didnt have problems so frequently that I had to go into the office to see someone. This is the only company in the area that offers the speeds necessary to stream tv and we deserve reliable service. Having to fight with the company to get discounts for outages is a worn sorry at this point. Absolutely unreliable service and customers should get what they pay for!!Sparklight

ZERO STARS WAS NOT AN OPTION.I have been trying to get a hold of the local office in *******, Mo. and can not get anyone to talk to me. Have been unable to watch a full TV show without constant cable interruptions for over 6 months now. Still paying full monthly bills and not getting full service in return.
