      ATM at ******** location doesn't work 70% of time after hours.

      I have banked with who is now Desert Financial since I was 16, 26 years I have been with them. When they were desert schools, before they changed over, they were great, ever since they became desert financial they had slowly began to disappoint me. Now, I'm more than disappointed, I'm furious with them. They got hacked, the theives used their 800 customer service number to fraud customers. I'm sorry but since the change over, D.F has become failures. Their security /Fraud is insufficient. If they weren't. This all would have been caught the 1st time this happened to another customer, yesterday my hand was forced by the fraud ***** Because of their unwillingness to release our money from our main checking to my husband, we have been sick with covid, for the 1st time ever. And because of the failure there with my husband, my hand was forced to go into the branch myself unmasked, because I had no plans to get out of the car. I've also been fighting lupus, stomach flu at the same time, now kidney infection. None of what has happened should have ever. Especially.now I know because of being told, this has been going on with a lot of D F customers for the month. This happened to us, we'd. Or Thurs. I was too sick to pay attention. So I had to deal with this myself, in the condition I am in, just so we can take care of our family since we have no access with debit transactions, or online transactions. No bils can be paid nothing. Had no access to money sunday when we desperately needed it. I was impressed at the end of it. Today I was going to open a new checking. Thru the phone,/online/email/mail because of being sick. I first spoke to *****, she was very nice, caring, helpful, then she transfers me to the fraud ***** I didn't catch the lady's name unfortunately, but it was almost immediately she wanted to argue with me who's right who's wrong here, I'm sorry don't ever put a fraud problem like this on any customer, her rudeness, her demeanor completely changed my mind.

      Ive been a Desert Financial Credit customer off and on. Currently only for 2 years so that is all they recognize. In that 2 years I have had some big things come up that have cost money. However, in that time Desert Financial has stolen over $2, 500 from me $35 at a time through overdraft fees. Most of which occur just days before I get paid with them literally showing me the pending amount in the app.I have sent many messages through online support and reached out to my local branch and have gotten just a few of those NFS fees refunded (around $500). Meanwhile they are telling me to refer 5 friends and get up to $500. This is supposed to be a Credit Union (it is in the name). It is more like a ********* ***** Fargo has a 1 day grace ****** which likely would have cut my overdrafts in half. ********* has a high approval Credit Access line (Desert Financial denied me from getting theirs). Most Online banks and many other credit unions have 2-3 day early payday.If Desert Financial sees this message and offers me some help and shows they care about their customers I will stay. If they dont I will decide on 1 of the options about e and leave. I suggest you stay away, far far away.

      Desert Financial CU is a credit union that has major customer service issues. First, I requested a new debit card because of some fraudulent purchases were made on my account. I waited 2 weeks and it never arrived. Then about 2 years later, the same thing happened. Fraudulent purchases on my account. I requested another debit card again. That one never arrived either. I went to the branch, which is a challenge for me since I'm a 65yo man who doesn't have a car and walks with a rolling ******. They gave me a new debit card but never closed the previous card. The fraudulent purchases kept posting on my account via the old debit card. Then when I told them about the fraudulent purchases on my account, they froze my account again. I explained that I needed access to my funds but they wouldn't let me use my debit card. I explained that they were able to let me use my previous debit card until I had received a new debit card. The rep said they couldn't do that. Well, as a result, I got evicted from my apartment. And I explained that I had previously had 2 working debit cards previously. The rep explained that was against ****** policy for a client to have 2 open and working debit cards previously. So, not only does Desert Financial CU have horrible customer service but they also break the rules with ***** I will never use them again and tell everyone I know what happened to me with Desert Financial CU.
