Love my new Liftmaster Belt Driven Opener....Jeff did a Great job of installing it and changing my rollers in a short period of time. He explained the system and even cleaned up. Will be sure to call them if I have a problem...

5 starsI would like to thank Jeff from Armstrong Garage Doors for the great service we received today for the repair of the circuit board on our garage door unit. We have been using the services of Armstrong for over 15 years. We have never been disappointed. They usually come out the same day that we contact them with a garage door issue. Jeff came out today and was courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. We had an additional issue with the garage door which he discussed with us and took care of to ensure that the garage door was working properly. 5 starsOn 5/24/2023, your tech John was to be here at 10.00 a.m. He called a little before 9:00 a.m. saying he completed his first job and could he arrive early. It worked for me. He showed up and went right to work analyzing the situation with the door. He adjusted the rails and said that was the problem. I asked about the rollers. He said there was a little play in them but they were ok. I had him replace them as I am getting ready to sell my home and want the door to work correctly.
He changed them out before I knew he had started on them. I was extremely impressed with his pleasant demeanor and excellent work ethic. Thank you, Diane.Review fromAlicia G

We asked for an estimate on costs when we called, they indicated they couldn't provide an estimated cost for a broken spring, 1.5 hours of work, cost $1200 for a spring replacement, Two different springs were installed, 1 oil tempered and 1 galvanized when I asked why not have both oil tempered spring since owner touts only using oil tempered on You Tube (youtu.be/MBQQw_m-CBM). Tech indicated that they were trying to use up the galvanized due to different manufacturer but the You Tube video is 7 yrs old and they still hv old springs? Moving Up Garage ********* has set of oil tempered springs with all required parts for $88.59, A1 charged us (seniors) $827 + labor +trip charge. The tech told us we needed new pulleys and rod otherwise we'd soon be having issues so we fell for it since he indicated, he was being truthful and would tell his family the same thing of the parts needing replaced! This company has horrible business ethics for people with limited budgets. Tech also told us our motor needed to be replaced soon and for a cost of $1060 , at least we didn't fall for this. I'm not understanding why they are a AAA member when there are so many complaints?A1 Garage Door Service

We apologize for this 1 star experience. We do not worry about what other garage door companies are doing. We do not go out and take advantage of seniors. We DO have an obligation as garage door professionals to provide long term solutions/repairs. We also have an obligation to let you know if there are any other failing parts, which a lot of other companies do not do. 5 starsMy garage door would not open more then 10 inches. I called Armstrong Garage Door, Inc. and they sent out Jeff. He took one look and knew what the problem was ( broken spring) had it fixed in no time. Jeff was very good at explaining why it broke ( they last between 6-10 years, and they had replaced mine 8 years ago). I guess I will call them in another 8 years.Review fromNischal Dev I.

Rip off | Exorbitant quotes | False information (right from the customer care representative)Extremely dis-satisfied with the company policy.I will never ever go back to this company, and they quote 2 to 3 times higher than their competitors.Below is my experience with A1 Garage door.I had a new garage opener installed on March 10th by this company.Customer care rep mentioned its $40/hr. for technician to look at the garage.Next day technician arrived and mentioned its $40/ hr. to come on to the driveway (I do not know any company who quotes to drive up to your house).gave an exorbitant quote of $269/ hr. to put his hands on to diagnose the garage.When I said that the customer ********************** mentioned its $40/hr. to look at the garage, he replied, To look at the garage its $40/hr. but if I need to put my hands on its $269 and then he reduced the price to $129/hr.After diagnosing he mentioned that 2 sensors need replacement and quoted $450 for both sensors combined. The entire travel module costs $50 and he was charging $400 for labor. He also mentioned that it will take a week to 10 days for the sensors to arrive.The entire information was falsified, and the intention of the technician was to make ** buy new garage opener.He quoted that new garage door opener would range from $600 to around $1300 for the high end. He reduced the price to $1100 and I felt this was still overpriced and called an alternate company for quotation.They quoted $709 without even bargaining and mentioned that travel module could be replaced immediately for just $105 out the door incl. taxes. We immediately had to intervene the work and asked him to drop the price and he did not lower below $900 out the door.If I contacted other company, I would probably would have spent only $105 or may be $110 for travel module replacement. Now we have a whole new garage opener and spent $900.A1 Garage Door Service

Having Rocky come out every year is a Blessing; he knows his job and is Excellent at what he does...He is a Big reason we have stayed with Armstrong over 8 years...Love that they call every year for maintenance also....A1 Garage Door Service
