On 10/31/22 my garage door springs and spring pad were replaced costing around $1500. On April 8, 2023 the garage door was slamming shut when I closed it. ****** replaced the springs because they both need to be large instead of one small and one large. He said he had to reset motor 30 times in which then the garage door wouldn't close. He said motor overheated. Finally it closed. I let it sit for a day not using it but it continue not to close again. ***** came out 4/11/23 and tested it but was working fine. He said it was a fluke but May 15 garage door would reopen after closing. Today I was told I need a new . motor costing close to $1200 I declined this garage door was never resolved to my satisfaction and I paid a trip fee today. I would not recommend this company and I probably would have been better off getting a new garage door with a other company. I feel this is a salesman mentality and very dissatisfied with this company and using them to install the springs

At this time I have no trust in your company and want a refund of the springs I purchased close to $1500. Each tech gave me incorrect info and ***** honestly sounded like a car salesman trying to sell me a motor. Really no empathy. I am very upset with A1 Garage Door for misleading information. I called for garage door service the morning of May 18th. The male who answered the phone set up a time for service that afternoon. While completing the call, he said A1 Garage Door would be out between 1 and 6. My reply was oh no, I thought I was talking to Overhead Door. His reply was they (A1) had acquired a number of companies. My response was you have purchased Overhead. His response was yes, they had acquired a number of companies. This was misleading and false. DO NOT use A1 Garage Door.A1 Garage Door Service

John from Armstrong Garage Door came out this morning to service our two garage doors. He is reliable, knowledgeable and very helpful. He goes above and beyond what he was asked to do - like "unbending" a dent where my boys dented the door panel with the basketball. He is wonderful. Thank you John.A1 Garage Door Service

5 starsWe reached out to Armstrong Garage Door because the spring broke on our garage door. Spoke with Barb who was extremely helpful and supportive in getting someone out to my home to get the repairs done as soon as possible. Rocky came out the next day, even two hours earlier than expected which was great! Rocky knows his stuff and offered several recommendations on how we can better maintain the life of our garage door and parts. The work was completed in about an hour and the door opens and closes much quieter than it has in almost 15 years! Excellent work Rocky and Armstrong is now our preferred company!Review fromSharon S

Contacted Ideal for routine service. After discovering the door was 21 years old with many defects, I decided to replace it with a heavier, insulated door. The service was very professional, friendly outstanding. I strongly recommend Ideal for any issues with your garage door.A1 Garage Door Service

Couldn't be more disappointed with their service. I hired them to repair a garage door that wasnt working properly. The told me they did a several point inspection and that i needed to replace the spring. I was quoted $1200, which i knew was overpriced, but i was in a bind. The door had problems not even a couple days later. The technician went back out to inspect it and i was then told I needed to replace the motor. I was given multiple estimates with all of them over $1000. I know very well you can get a very good motor for around $300 today and install it within a couple hours. This company really likes to take advantage of their customers. I will never hire them again.A1 Garage Door Service

*************** of Ideal Garage Doors did an outstanding job yesterday undertaking a routine maintenance check on our garage door. He was extremely helpful and professional and sorted out a few minor glitches that we had been experiencing. 1 starThis company has no respect for customers made an appointment Monday for today at 6,the customer ********************** person said they would keep me posted on arrival times,I never got 1 phone call I had to call them to find out if they were coming out,The customer ********************** representative said he will be calling me instead got a text from him [ *** ] saying he wasn't going to make it and I'll have to reschedule,For as big of a business this is,You would think they would have the courtesy to call me prior to me taking off work to explain,Nope I'll never recommend this company to anyone...
