      Ideal Garage has performed service on my garage door and opener for many years. All employees in all areas of the company far exceed any expectations I had. **************** is top notch. All of the technicians Ive met are stellar. Cant recommend them highly enough!

      We have A1 garage come to our house to replaced broken spring on March 1 2024. The technician charge an inflated price for the springs which charge ** 625 dollars for springs. I checked the actual price for the most is 150 dollars each. So I felt like being cheated by A1 garage repair. I will not recommend anybody with A1 garage repair I will rate them 0. Beware of A1 garage door repair.

      When I received service, a garage door repair, I was urged to sign up for and pay for something called *************** for an additional charge. I was promised service as needed for any issues for this first year with an end of year maintenance check and service for both my garage doors including lubrication and any maintenance or adjustments needed. When the year was over and I didn't hear from this company, I contacted them to be told that they no longer service my area and that I should have received a refund. I told her I'd not received anything, or any notification about service in my area ending. She assured me she was checking into it. I then received a text saying no refunds would be issued and this was the way it was going to be handled. Then she offered a very small refund of $8.95. This showed up on my credit card account as pending, and then disappeared without warning. I expected a lot more than this amount, but even that amount promised was removed before it became final. Then I called ******* customer ********************** office, and someone took my report, name, and number, assigning me a case number. I was told to expect a call within a day or two. It's been 7 days, and I have heard NOTHING. I do not think I was treated fairly. I paid for a service that I didn't receive. I think I should be refunded for the cost of the "worry free club."

      Diamond garage now called Number 1 garage. Technecian from ************ came to my house to fix the garage door. (****) broke the door opener when he was checking the board. They left the house and didnt fix the problem . The owner of the company told me the tech left the company and they didnt accept the issue. They are not professional and they dont know anything about the business. They will charge you more than other companies. Dont trust this company.

      I had A1 garage door come out because my wires on the side reels had gotten loose. The technician said there was a $79 charge for a jam door and $100 charge for something else and it all added up to 425 to fix these two wires that I fixed after he left took me 15 minutes and I'm ******************************************************************************* for before he even got down to the two wires.

      I recently contacted A-1 Garage Door Service to replace a broken spring and snapped cable. Having had a positive experience with them in the past, I decided to use their services again. However, this time around, my experience with A-1 was extremely disappointing, ranking as one of the worst encounters I've had with any repair company. I am compelled to give A-1 a one-star rating, and if possible, I would rate them even lower.Initially, I was quoted $500.00 for the replacement of a spring and cables. However, once the A-1 service person began the job, they attempted to double the price. Refusing to accept this sudden increase, I opted to seek quotes from other garage door companies. Surprisingly, these alternative companies provided estimates significantly lower than what A-1 was demanding.After some negotiation and back-and-forth discussions with their office, A-1 eventually agreed to honor the original quote of $500.00. This ordeal left me concerned that A-1 was trying to exploit the situation by suggesting unnecessary replacements and inflating the bill with unnecessary work. It felt more like dealing with a dubious salesperson rather than a genuine repair or service provider.Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend or consider using A-1 Garage Door Service again in the future. I would advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this company.

      Received a coupon through the mail to have a tune-up on my garage door/rails/springs/etc. for $19.99. Came out and of course the garage door opener is going bad (I am a female senior citizen and can't lift the door if the opener breaks down). Tech showed me a picture of the least expensive one that can pull open a two-stall garage door and I had a $100 coupon and the $40 visit fee (which they did not say would be charged with the $19.99 tune-up) would be included also. Well almost $700 later, which included a $78 second remote (because after he installed the garage door opener he only gave me one remote for two cars). Very deceptive. I called and talked to the manager and he, like the tech, explained they are a small family owned business that can't give discounts like big box stores and the tech was a military veteran trying to support a family. I didn't have time to check out reviews before because I was only expecting a tune-up, but when I was looking to write a review I see they are in almost every city and state. So much for small family owned business. Very deceptive.

      ***** and ****** were very nice and patient with me. Im a mom of a one year old they were very respectful and understanding of the whole situation and my Mom brain and I felt completely comfortable with them. Thank you guys.

      We had Ideal Garage of Gilbert come over to check out our garage door because of garage door not closing he spent *************************** an hour trouble shooting and wanted us to replace the drive sensors keypad remotes wiring total up sale vs just replacing the motor/drive unit at a cost of $2500 and then showed us step down model for a cost of $1500 never did give me a price strictly for the motor/drive unit ,We are seniors on a limited budget and the motor/drive unit can be purchased at Lowes for under $450 with installation please shop around do get .We had a whole single car garage door replaced for $2000 with tracks .*******************************
