Without any doubts cooked itit at home today, and started to feel bad and having stomachache and nausea. Always was buying seafood and fish this store and have and any doubt its was always fresh, so not even smell it when I bought it.Went to sprouts store to return a smelly fish , got refunded, but refund doesnt resolve the issue of my stomachache and bad feeling. I went to the fish department and asked them if I can smell same fish I purchase yesterday. The smell was totally different and fresh. This unacceptable selling old smelly fish to the customers. I order from my local *************** sprouts multiple times a week. I at least one a week receive rotten fruit and meat/fish. This most recent time I ordered 3.5 lbs of clams. Every single clam was open and rotten. They smelled like they've been bad for days. Can literally kill somebody eating one of these raw. As I planned on cooking them anyways I would not eat spoiled food. To throw gas on the fire they were packaged in a sealed plastic bag tied shut. So even if they weren't rotten they would've been killed instantly in the bag. They have no clue how to handle food. If they don't know what they are doing they should not risk getting there own customers sick by selling them rotten food some of which is done due to complete negligence of the employees.Business Response

Sprouts Farmers Market is FALSE ADVERTISING. Sprouts IS NOT a farmers market. By definition, a farmers market, is a market at which local farmers sell their agricultural products directly to consumers.Sprouts Farmers Market should need to remove the words Farmers Market from their name, because it is very misleading.Business Response

I am reaching out because I was visiting the ********* area from out of town. I stopped in at the local Sprout on ****************************************** ********* to purchase my one year old daughter some milk. I purchased the milk and then begin to notice my daughter not feeling the best after feeding her the milk. I looked at the date of the milk and it contained an expired date. The date on the milk was June 15, 2023. I purchased the milk on June 16, 2023. The milk had to have been sitting months to have reached the expiration date. This was very concerning when Sprout is supposed to have the freshest quality and most healthy items. To purchase expired milk that made my daughter not feel the best has me reaching out to find a solution. This is total unacceptable from such a grocery store. I'm very unhappy with Sprouts because:- Prices are WAY to high for what one gets - Advertised sale Gluten Free items weren't available, or not discounted. This is a Bait-and-Switch - Illegal.- Staff isn't visible, and when you grab someone, such as the Deli Attendant (i.e., black, young, female) who was already walking through the store, she told me she didn't know, &walked off.- I asked **** (store Manager) what his company's cooperate office phone # is to complain, & he just searched ******* He told me he wouldn't provide me with the # he had. Very rude with blue finger nails - very unhappy & unprofessional looking.- BIGGEST COMPLAINT: Plastic and Paper Bags are normally included in the cost of shopping at the store. You have now put this burden (without lowering your already high prices) on the customer. Strouts started Charging Customers $0.10/plastic Bag. You are doing this for the environment, yet you are STILL offering them? Even if they are stronger then normal, if the store truly cared about it, they would stop providing plastic. Also, paper bags are biodegradable. Why not offer them? It's because it's more expensive. Offer free Plastic or paper bags or I'm not returning. Unbelievable!Business Response

I am an employee at Sprouts Farmers Market and have been treated descent but lately after I was sick for a week and had to use my pto, they have been giving me hardly any hours after that. I have worked there longer than all the other grocery employees and for some reason my hours are the only hours that have dropped. Even the new hires are getting more hours than me. I have talked to my manager about it more time than I can remember and it got to the point of me talking to my store manager and when I went to talk to her she wasnt listening and just wanted to shove me out of the office. I visited the ******, ** store on 04/21 (spent $118.27). When I got home, I saw that the cream cheese I purchased had mold on it. I then checked expiration dates and a chili I bought expired on 04/19 along with meatballs that had expired on 03/19. I contacted Sprouts through the site to inform them of these issues. I noticed more problems the next few days. The chocolate chip cookies from their bakery were stale, and I'd gotten them before so there was a clear difference. I also bought 2 desserts of the same brand, one being a mango sorbet and the other a chocolate gelato. The sorbet had a seal to prevent tampering, but the gelato was missing it. Another worrisome problem I experienced was that I ended up sick after eating the Sprouts Caesar Dressing. It was the only new thing I ate that day. I reached out to them again about this. I messaged them 3 or 4 times through the site, once through ********* and once through email to get help. I received a response on 04/25 and was told that management would reach out. ******, the manager, finally did on 05/20 and said Id be given a refund, the items would be replaced, and Id be given a $25 gift card next time I visited the store. I was actually in the area on the 20th so I went there and it was such a humiliating ordeal. ****** gave my fiance and I the gift card, but once it came time to replace the items, he said there were only 3 items that were supposed to be replaced and that cookies werent one of them. Cookies WERE one of the things I had a problem with, so I was confused. Since I reached out several times, I figured he mustve responded to one of my original messages, but why did the others go ignored by him and customer service when I had so many issues? I wasnt even refunded as promised, I was just given store credit. ****** said all of this in front of customers, which sent me into a panic attack. I want a full refund for the $118.27. This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a company.Business Response

I've been connected to "management" several times now and I don't want to speak to the store's manager again. This is ridiculous as it's been over a month now and the ONLY thing any Sprouts customer service has done is to have me speak to the Oviedo store's manager. He's a big part of why I had such an awful experience with Sprouts, and I don't understand why no one else can help me. Do NOT connect me with the Oviedo store manager again. If it's anyone else that isn't associated with him or that store, I will gladly speak to them so I could finally be given a resolution. I am a regular sopper at sprouts. I usually go in every other day and buy a fresh chicken. On the 13th I went and bought a chocked and my hand hit the heat lamps and got burned.On my way I let the cashier know and she just plainly said sorry , then she turned around and whispered to another person assuming a manager and then she asked if I need to her to go get some cream , my upset was that the process for injured costumers is much more that hi how are you. I recently submitted two complaints to Sprouts. 1. Employees smoking in front of the doors on a regular basis. 2. Mass amounts of packaged produce that is spoiled.Regarding Sprouts Store ******************************************************* I reached out to customer service regarding my complaint about the employees smoking. To my surprise, the customer service representitive named ***, gave *************** information to the Sprouts Store Manager without my consent. That was absolutely unacceptable. Sprouts has no right to share *************** information with anyone without my consent. I never got a reply about the mass amounts of spoiled produce. The packaged salads on the shelves are filled with wet, spoiled and rotten salad, package after package. There needs to be a better inspection. I am an employee for sprouts they are terrible at helping us. do not apply you will have hours to start off with but what they don't tell you is if you are not an head position you will get whatever crumbles of hours you have left. I was told open my availability and I would see more hours that was a lie. Your pay is terrible and when you ask for more hours they will say we can't or the store been to slow but you will see a new employee being hired. They will praise your work ethics and still cut your hours. They are unfair in every department and will listen to your complaints and gas light your into believing things will change they have very good higher *** and they try but due to all the unorganized and terrible working conditions they are beginning to disappears I would not apply or ever work at sprouts I have begin my job **** to get as far away from the place. Nothing about sprouts is amazing I hate the place now. When I started it was family like an nice place to work I love my department management she was amazing and for a long time that's what kept me at sprouts. The hours are not even worth the gas of driving there. Most of us is not even getting 21 hours a week and we get paid weekly so its even worse.
