I am sick and tired of the attempted fraud in this type of marketing.They send me mail via ******* "Final Notice", and "gonna lapse coverage", "very important/critcal", etc -- all making it sound like I don't have minimum insurance requirements by law, and even referring to the BANK that my Mortgage is under -- when in full reality -- it is strictly a Marketing Ploy to have me call them so they can attempt to sell a general Home Warranty Coverage (Not Home Insurance).I'm not opposed to this type of Warranty coverage -- I even have this today with a different company. But my ************* has zero relevance to that.Bottom line, is that this is a very sleazy marketing ploy -- when they ought just be straight forward about the what the service is, etc....Like the way some of their competitors function (i.e. 2-10).I request to be FULLY Removed from their mailing/contact list --- I tried to tell them this over the phone, and they just gave me the run-around, trying to say they aren't being deceptive, yada, yada.....And even put me on hold indefinitely, because they didn't want to just remove me upon request.I strongly recomend that BBB investigates these very poor marketing tactics accordingly.U.S. consumers deserve more honesty.Initial Complaint

On 02/28/23 I called to cancel my policy. The company continued to charge the card on file $133.68 every month until July 01, 2024. When the were called on 07/01/24, were told that yes the account was cancelled and that we would be refunded with 8 weeks. Its been 11 weeks. Weve called everyday and have been told that the check was sent out on 8/16, 8/27, 9/12 and 9/13. No one will transfer me to any manager, Ive been told every time I call that the check was sent out conveniently the same day and there has been no check received. Now today the information provided to me was that refunds take up to 8 months to be received. No one is giving any information and they owe us over $2,000. Ive asked what the procedure is when Ive waited the allotted time between 4-10 business days. We cancelled the policy within the appropriate time frame and they made a gross error in continuing to charge our account. One Supervisor ******* called me to confirm the check was sent out on 8/16, on the 8/27 we called to say there was no check and then we were told that it was in fact sent out on that day 08/27, on 9/08 I was told they dont control the mail and that it was coming. On 09/12 they were called again and told the check was sent on 08/27, today 09/13 I was told that the check was sent out on 09/12 and that it takes 4-5 business days. I called back within 5 mins because they refuse to transfer me to a manager and that person said it was sent out today 09/13 and was also told that refunds can take 8 months and theyre doing me a favor by expediting the refund check with in ************************************************************************************ getting our defund back so that we no longer have to deal with this company. We dont want an apology, we dont want to bash the company. We just want our refund.Initial Complaint

I originally paid for a home warranty and then found out home warranty was being paid through my mortgage. I am not allowed to have 2 home warranties so I cancelled with Bliss and they show cancellation 5 June 2023. I was told by Bliss I would receive a prorated refund. It has been near 1 year. I call every week or so and told I am on a list and when they receive funds they will send a check but call back in a couple weeks. They use WALCO for payments in. It has been nearly a year for a prorated refund of $732.& change.This is unacceptable and needs to be resolved.Thank you!Initial Complaint

This home warranty service is fraudulently, trying to look like their American shield home warranty when in fact, they are bliss home warranty, and it takes the act of Congress to get them to take care of anything on your home warranty. Continually receiving "Final Notice" letters desperately wanting me to buy home warranty services, even though I have in the past requeste them to remove me from their mailing list. Their customer service people are useless, seemingly only there to provide even more high-pressure sales tactics which seem to be aimed primarily at seniors with reverse mortgage homes.Initial Complaint

I canceled my policy for my home warranty on October 16th, 2023 and was told I would be receiving a retroactive refund within 6 to 8 weeks for an amount of about ***** dollars. It has been 12 weeks and I still have not been issued my refund. Every time I call for an update on the refund status they inform me that there isn't any update and that they will reach out to the fiance department. Supervisors apparently do not get involved on canceled policies and you are only allowed to speak to costumer services members who are not helpful and can't do anything. Each time I call there is a different excuse about why there isn't an update or the refund has not been issued( its only been 6 weeks, it can take 8 weeks, closed for Christmas, closed for the new yr, etc). I just want my money and I don't seem to be getting anywhere by myself. Please assist.Initial Complaint

*** received 13 notices from this business all unsolicited. I have recorded 5 CEASE AND DESIST PHONE CONVERSATIONS and each time they assure me that theyll stop and yet I still continue to receive them. This company is a scam and should be shut down and investigated.Initial Complaint

This company keeps sending unsolicited letters stating my home warranty is about to expire. They even made up a mortgage lender trying to scam me. I have no mortgage on my home. I called to get it to stop even called them a scam. They continue to send these letters stating that my "mortgage lender" requires this. This company is trying to prey on homeowners and people who are fooled by their "official" looking documents. They also appear to be predatory on elderly homeowners. Claim #: ********* This is regarding the choice home warranty . There was water leak in the water heateer. The reason given by the warranty to deny was water high pressure.I am living in the house for more than 5 years and the water heater is more than that year old and there is no requirement for having a expansion tank and my water pressure is well within the limit. It is not a closed plumbing system and there is no requirement for an expansion tank. I have confirmed with the plumbing service they have sent and no issue on the water pressure and it should be in the report they have sent.Initial Complaint

On Saturday October 28 I received a letter in the mail that appeared to be from ****** *** Mortgage, Home Warranty Division. It had my name and address correct. It told me that my home warranty on my home secured by a ****** *** Mortgage may be expiring or already expired. It advised me to call **************. I do not have a mortgage on my home so I knew this was some sort of scam. I called the number just to see, and it went to a voicemail for a company called "Home Warranty Solutions." DO NOT TRUST THEM.
