      What a nightmare it is to deal with this company. I would rate it zero if it allowed. From day one they have not followed through or been reliable in any way shape or form. When I found out my mortgage was sold here I called immediately to get the ball rolling and to figure out what I needed to do and was told not to worry about anything as long as I created a log in which I did over the phone with a rep. *** and behold nothing was set up for me and I missed my first payment which cause late fees. They then "graciously" waved it and told me this wouldn't happen again. Next month of course it wasn't fixed and I missed a payment again because the rep who had "fixed" everything neglected to tell me when a payment fails the autopay is toggled. Yet again I am in the same position as I was at the beginning. Then I start receiving calls from a sales rep there saying my insurance was not valid for them to work with and tried to sell me into a partner that they had. This was ultimately not true and a flat out lie. I needed to adjust some of my policy to up the coverage needed. They lied about not working with my insurance just to get me with their partner. I work and sales and am completely and utterly appalled by the tactics of this company. I repeatedly told them to never contact me again about their "upsell" opportunities and they have again not listened and emailed and called me. Even after unsubscribing I received another sales email immediately. I believe ultimately they do not care about being an ethical business and will do what ever they can to get ahead regardless of how it affects the customer. I have worked with two other companies before who never ever treated me this way and were never just flat out ignorantly stupid and unprofessional. I cant wait until I can get a way from this dumpster fire of a company.

      My mortgage was sold to Valon Mortgage last month and so far it's the worst experience I have ever had. My mortgage went up by $87.00 (which is ridiculous) and when I made my previous payment they did not apply it to my mortgage, they told me until I paid the extra $87.00 it would sit in the account. This company is a joke, would rate them 0 stars if I could.

      My loan was acquired from C on 10-1-23. I followed instructions on getting insurance provider to update lender and send certificates etc. My insurance is drafted monthly from my account and has for years. Now this company contacts insurance saying they want to escrow. So my insurance sent them a bill for over $1500 and I assume Ill have to come out of pocket entire amount since there is no escrow on account and they likely also add escrow in addition to this. However, I wouldnt know for sure since the phone number I keep trying to call 855-***-3690 doesnt appear to be working. This loan acquisition was not supposed to change anything with my loan but requiring escrow is definitely a change and I personally prefer to pay my insurance directly and monthly which gives me added assurance its actually getting paid. Reading these reviews doesnt give me any confidence and not being able to get a call through their phone makes that anxiety even worse.

      Horrible, -10 stars. They bought my loan in September and sent me all these nice letters saying they would take care of everything. Wrong. They took care of the auto-pay, I had to do literally everything else.- It took hours on the phone and 5+ people to get my insurance switched. Part of me thinks they didn't even do it because they asked me later who my insurance provider is.-My escrow payment has doubled overnight, when I call them in tears they say it's their policy to pay anything not covered by my regular payment schedule and to contact the assessor office if our taxes seem off. Well the assessor said they only raised it a small amount nothing near the ****+ they were claiming. So they are stealing money from me and I can't do anything about it, just gave me an email to some back office that doesn't even have a direct phone line. Not sketchy at all.-The customer service is not helpful, they make you feel awful and small for even questioning their notices. When you get frustrated(because they literally can't give you a reasonable explanation) they transfer you to another department. I'm at a loss at what to do and where this extra money is going.

      They failed to pay my homeowners insurance on time. Now I have pay out of my own pocket. They tried to tell me I didn't have an escrow account despite their website showing a large balance in the account. My original company sold my loan to Valon and paid the insurance but Valon dropped the ball. They have not responded to my attempts They rectify their error.

      I have only been with Valon for a couple of months and in the two opportunities I called, once beyond the automatic answering system that is as dreadful as for most other companies these days, I got very good to excellent service from the employees who answered my calls. They helped me make sure my auto pay was set correctly and also to ensure the escrow payments were carried out in a timely manner since Valon's purchase of my mortgage happened right at the time when the county taxes were due. So, I can only say "so far, so good", but must admit that the other reviews I see here make me pause. Cross my fingers!!!!
