They should receive ZERO stars. The level of incompetency of Valon Mortgage is indescribable. They failed to pay the insurance premium for my home in April. I received notification from my insurance company, and was on the phone with someone who assured me it would be taken care. Yes, a second check was sent to my insurance company, however Valon STOP PAID the check!!!! I work in escrow, and we have to go through many hoops to have an insurance or tax check stop paid, and this company just did it ***** nilly. THis is unacceptable. I found out about it in Sept, and was on a three-way call with my insurance company where I was AGAIN assured a replacement check would be sent out. Valon FAILED to send the check out and my insurance policy was cancelled. I have now had to take matters into my own hands to get the policy reinstated AT MY OWN EXPENSE. This is ridiculous. I have an impound account for my loan, and Valon is collecting the money from me, but not mailing the payments. What are you doing with your customer's money **********************? You have essential stolen money from me. You should be charged with embezzlement and fraud. What do you have to say for yourselves? I would love to know. All of us who have left a review, need to band together in a class action lawsuit against this company. I, for one, will be looking into legal action against this company. I have plenty of spare time to get this going.Valon Mortgage Inc

I will pile on with all of the other folks that think these folks are clowns. I ordered a payoff statement from them, received it, made the payment inside the timeline laid out in their payoff statement. Instead of paying it off the made it a standard payment and show another required payment. I reached out to their support team to let them know of the mistake in processing and was told I made the payment in the incorrect method. OK, first time with Valon seems like an easy fix....no. nothing can be done, make another payment and follow our very dumb I structures on how to gently pay them their money. Thankfully I have a balance of less then $2000 so I will pay it and take joy in knowing that on this forum they have one more nasty negative review. I look forward to ignoring your lame after the fact call to say you can do something. I would be mortified if this was the co.pany I worked for and would advise any and all to avoid doing business with these clowns.Valon Mortgage Inc

Id give 0 if I could. My loan was sold from ******* (who I LOVED) to these people last week.....I am in a chapter 7 Bankruptcy and they needed a form signed before they could speak to me, fine, I accept that and sent it to my attorney who signed it and she sent it back. Then the representative I had talked to prior called me back the next day because being in a bankruptcy I cant make online payments.....ps this was NEVER an issue with Caliber but whatever.....So he takes my payment information for my OCTOBER payment over the phone on 10/4....for ONE payment of **** and change........well guess what they drafted TWO payments of ****, over **** and now Im overdrafted. I NEVER authorized 2 payments I authorized one. I am current and have remained current in my mortgage payments despite me having to file bankruptcy.......So i call, well they put me into some nameless "representative" mailbox I leave messages, I send emails to support AND the Bankruptcy department...unanswered. Now they are telling me 2-3 business days (btw today is Friday so we are talking NEXT WEEK) before i get my money back. I tell them thats not ok and to send it back via wire.....nope they say that takes 2-3 days that is a LIE a domestic wire transfer is guaranteed the SAME day.....but no they say 2-3 days. This is a HORRIFIC way to start a business relationship, I am on fire im so mad and have no way to put gas in my car or feed my son this weekend because THEY STOLE MY MONEY thats what its called when you take something that you were not given permission to take its STEALING! I am filing a complaint with the banking commission and the **** this is absolute NONSENSE!Valon Mortgage Inc

Very poor customer service, lack of cohesive business processes, no follow through. Numerous, repeated issues as part of a home equity loan process. Multiple s**** **** no follow through, required repeated follow up with loan processor. AVOID doing business with this financial institution.Valon Mortgage Inc

Valon purchased my mortgage several months ago. Today I received a letter saying my insurance has lapsed and they are going to force-place insurance on my home at 3x the price of what I actually paid. Not only did my insurance renew as it was supposed to over a month ago. the **************** Declarations page has Valon already listed as the Mortgagee with all proper loan numbers, addresses, etc. ************* information has not changed since we purchased our home and should have easily transferred with the sale of my mortgage to them. These people are a bunch of disorganized clowns. Hopefully they will sell my mortgage to a servicer who actually knows what they are doing.Valon Mortgage Inc

I give them Zero stars, however, I had to choose one to post this review. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My mortgage was sold to them July of 2022 and I've had nothing but problems. **************** is TERRIBLE. I mistakenly wrote my check out .60 (yes, sixty cents) short, and they spoke to me as if I was 6 months past due, and I've never been late or missed a payment since the bought my loan. Stay away!!!! Also, when you call them, they tell you they are a debt collector....in all my years of paying a mortgage, I have never had a mortgage company tell me they are a debt collector!Valon Mortgage Inc

Less than one star review.have owned a house for 14 years and never had trouble except for Valon. They are terrible at business. My mortgage was transferred in January and they lapsed my homeowners insurance, never paid it, I almost lost my policy. Now they have quadrupled my escrow account to nearly doubling my mortgage. I requested to drop my escrow account and they rejected it saying my loan to value ratio on my house is 89% when my house is worth ******* and I owe *******. They are fraudulent and terrible company that should be shut down!Valon Mortgage Inc

Valon acquired my mortgage on 5/1/23. They have been completely and utterly incompetent in paying my homeowner's insurance from my escrow account which is fully funded. My policy is now past all deadlines and is lapsing at midnight. I have had multiple phone conversations and live chats with their representatives over the past 3 weeks since receiving the initial notice from my insurer. In addition my insurer reached out to them on multiple occasions as well over the past 3 weeks. It remains unpaid. Valon, although assuring me verbally and via email that they overnighted a check over week ago, cannot provide a simple tracking number for this payment that they claim to have initiated and my insurance company has no record of receiving a payment. Follow up calls and live chats have been conducted throughout the day spanning 4 hours and there has been no resolution. My insurance is lapsing and my family is at risk.Valon Mortgage Inc

I have had my mortgage account for 30 years and never in that time had an escrow account. ********************** bought my mortgage a few mos ago. Without any notice to me, they created an escrow account and started deducting payments of $1000 per month for insurance on my 900 sq foot house. When I showed proof of my insurance they still refused to eliminate the bogus escrow account. They are predatory and horrible.Valon Mortgage Inc
