      I have used Republic Services for 5 years, December 2018 I had our **** payment on auto pay and my original contract (willing to provide) started us at about $250 a month for 1 dumpster and 1 recycling bin. By June 2022 our **** was around $1200 a month. My **************************** advised me on several solutions that were far better in price and I attempted to cancel my service with them. I was very difficult to get someone on the phone. The dumpsters were removed and I paid the last **** and have a receipt in doing so. Today I received a **** for $650. for removal and gas fees. I would like to share my documents with someone from your agency. I have not hired a lawyer, I am seeking guidance if I am able to recoup some of the over payment or at least bring to the light their practices. I am a woman running a small business (hair salon) and I feel as though my complaints and calls seeking a resolution were not honored.

      Around 5/15/22 I was billed for my service for ***** ************** The decision was made to find another provider, which did happen & the last service date for my home was on 5/27/22 (prior to the next billing cycle). I successfully cancelled my service prior to the next billing cycle to avoid any other charges. On 6/4/22 I was billed $11.58 which I thought was a mistake since I was no longer a customer. On 8/3/22 I received an email stating I was being sent to collections for failure to pay. When I reached out to customer service I was told this charge was for a service charge that they **** when they send invoices out. I explained that I was no longer a customer as of 6/4/22 when I was billed this but she indicated it was created in May & so I was charged. I told her I didn't think it was right they were charging me for a **** when services were cancelled for that billing cycle. She told me she really didn't care & they didn't know I was going to cancel so I was responsible for it. She did give me a credit of $5.00 so she said I still owe them $6.58. I have no issue with paying bills that I am responsible for (my credit report & score reflects this), however, I think ethically businesses should not charge for "invoice generation" for services that are not given. I paid for this fee each time my **** was due (since 2013), but I am asking that the $6.58 be removed & not posted to my credit account due to me cancelling services before they were rendered.

      I was on the highway behind one of the Republic Services trucks and debris flew out of the back of the truck and cracked my windshield and also scratched my hood. I waited over 3 weeks for them to contact me about the incident and then it makes several calls to customer service to be acknowledged. After about 3 weeks someone finally came to take pictures and turned it into their insurance Carrier. That company took almost 2 to 3 weeks to contact me, I had to fill out a form about the incident and he basically told me that despite 6 weeks of working on this that there was no proof that their company had caused the damage. I have a photo of the truck with the canopy not all the way closed. About 3k in damage.

      This incident was investigated by Republic Services. All information was turned into the insurance company(CCMSI). They made the final judgement call on whether not it was a payable damage claim. Once submitted to CCMSI, the final decision is made by them, not Republic Services.

      For 4+ weeks during Dec 2021 - Jan 2022 Republic Waste workers went on strike and did not pickup any trash service over those weeks. During those 4+ weeks we had to hire an outside company to remove our trash. Republic is now attempting to charge us for their pickup fee's during the time that they were on strike and did not pickup our trash. We have since refused to pay and explained to them why. We had no contractual obligation to pay them as we were on a month-month service. They have refused to waive the fee for services not rendered during their strike and have only provided a $200 credit instead of the $1,169.63 that should be credited. I believe this amount may be significant enough to be forwarded to government authorities to enforce this illegal demand as we are being strong armed to pay for a service that did not occur.

      8/10/2022 10:17am a republic's service truck driver hit a pot hole which caused a rock to shatter my back windshield I informed the city and they accused me of lying I also sent the footage I had from my ring door **** where you can here the shattering and see the truck stop. The repairs cost $587.64 and I also missed my first day of work.

      The customer was contacted the day of the alleged event.  A supervisor made contact and spoke with the claimant.  Claimant advised that her car was parked and that our driver was servicing carts stop to stop.  She claimed she had video footage of the event.  The supervisor supplied his email ************************************ and asked her to forward the footage so that we could verify the occurrence and forward it to our insurance company.  At this time the supervisor has not received anything in his email.

      If the footage is obtained we would be happy to work with the insurance company to come to a resolution.

      Unfortunately when trying to access the attached video per the complaint we receive a message that will not allow us access.

      Republic Services provides so called trash removal services. But in order to provide removal service they actually have to remove the trash from your property. They have missed multiple pickups, just not showing up on the days that they were supposed to. Ive tried customer service several times, and they schedule a recovery pickup and then miss that one too. Many times they just dont write you back or resolve the issue. This has not just occurred for me, but countless others in both my neighborhood and elsewhere. I see awful ******* posts regarding this business as well. If I pay for a service that is supposed to be 2 days per week, one for trash and one for recycle/yard waste then thats what I expect to receive. Thats not too much to ask.

      I have been with this company for over 6 years. We took over this account when my father in law passed in January of 2016. They had me sign a 3 year contract at that time. It has been a problem ever since. I have copies of the last several contract inwhich they continue to breach them. 6/10/2020, 4/29/2021 and 3/30/2022 They had me sign new contracts and then change the prices. The last contract was signed 7/12/2022 inwhich my base fee was $60.56 but when I received my **** August 4, 2022 the base fee was $83.54. I have tried to contact my case manager which never answers the phone and will not return calls. Her name is *********************. When the contract was signed last month I spoke with a Dermetrica Water whom assured me that this would be my rate and that there would be a rebate for that month. Now she will not answer the phone or return my calls. It is sad that in the 6 plus years I have signed a contract almost yearly and still they continue to breach them. I need help to sole this issue. I am trying to get this resolved without having to hire a lawyer.

      I ordered trash and recycled cans and paid for them on 8.1.22 for them to be deliver 8.4.22. They were not. I called Friday 8.5.22, but they stated it would be delivered on Monday 8.8.22 and out the matter as urgent they were not delivered on Monday. Called today 3 times to get my trash cans. They all stated they would call me back. I am currently on the phone waiting for a representative, but they will most likely not answer. I paid for the cans, and have not received them. I have been flexible with the dates of delivery, but this is ridiculous.

      I moved on 6/15/2022. I notified Republic Waste (via the mail) with my last **** (which I paid in full). They did not cancel my account. . I tried to call and was on hold for over an hour for several days. I finally got through (now it's July) and the woman said she canceled my account. She said she'd send me an email (hasn't). Today I got another robocall that my account is past due. (I can prove I moved). I cannot get them to answer phones/respond to emails/mail or cancel my account. HELP!

      The account was closed out on 7/31/22, but should have been closed on 6/15/22. I spoke with the customer and reached a resolution. There are pending credits to be placed on the account for $36.96 for August and September. This credit will now be adjusted to include 6/16/22-7/31/22. Once the billing is processed on 8/15/22, we will have these credits issued and a refund will be sent to the new address at ***********************************************************. An email to confirm this process was sent to the customer, and she was provided with local contact information should a further issue arise.

      June 22, 2022 we called to reinstate our pick up of the recycle bin with Republic. Our office called them and they quoted us $60.32 a month with a 3 year contract. As you can see the **** is for $134.38.We have called numerous times and have received the run around. Their customer service people state they can't make the change that a supervisor needs to make the change and that we will be called back in 24 hours, but we have not received a call back to resolve this issue. All we put in this bin is cardboard. Why we are getting accessed an envionmental recovery fee of $46.10 has not been explained either. Thank you!

      After further reviewing the customers account records, we found that a transaction was not finalized that had the new adjusted rate. This has not  been corrected and the will be backdated to 6/23/22. Customer will seen an adjustment on the next invoice.
