      I wish that I could put ZERO stars. I ordered two diplomas to be shipped to two different addresses. They sent both of them to one address. When I contacted them to fix it, they basically said, "Oh, well. We already sent them. Nothing we can do." 100% the company's mistake and they had no solution. I had to contact my University and they had to order a new one to fix the situation. **************** My University is looking for a new company because of the sheer number of complaints that they received about Parchment. Terrible!

      This is advice for anyone else with problems that cannot be resolved because Parchment's online chat and online customer support ticket requests basically permit this company to have barely functional, illiterate representatives dodge real questions and utterly fail to solve problems for people who have paid for a necessary service. Furthermore, they take advantage of the faceless method of communication and are decidedly rude and evasive. After I'd had enough of zero help, I asked for a supervisor's phone number in a chat and was simply told 'have a nice day' and disconnected. Call their customer service number. (no, you couldn't find it on their website because they, like many other companies, hide opportunities to talk to real people...you will have to separately ****** it, but it will appear as an AZ number)Remain on hold for a rep. **** calm and be nice. Have your order number ready. You just might get somewhere. I did.

      I'm bothered that I have to provide any star. This company is incompetent at best and criminal at worst. They are unresponsive, incapable of doing what they're supposed to. They cost me a teaching job by not sending my transcript and then blamed the school. Seven months to get a transcript sent. However, they did manage to charge my card immediately on all seven attempts. The government should investigate them and shut them down and people should beware if your university uses them.

      This website will not even allow me to get to the point of ordering my transcript. I have entered in the information to charge a card for an order, and everything is green, and accepted by the website, however when I click order, it shows that the order was declined and that something was wrong. When looking through, nothing was marked as wrong and the website continues to decline the transaction.Terrible website. It will tell you to order transcripts through the credentials tile on your dashboard. There was no credentials tile on my dashboard.Terrible website.

      The service offered by Parchment is not only extremely cumbersome to use for getting and downloading transcripts. It is indisputably theft by the academic industry. A transcript should be included with my payment of tuition, no questions asked. I should NEVER have to pay $9 for an ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT to be sent to me. It surely costs less than a 100th of a ***** to send a small document. Beyond the obscene cost which seriously should be accounted for by the 10s of thousands of dollars paid to my university the service doesn't even work. They said my document is availble for download an hour ago. I got two emails saying this. After 10 minutes I cannot find where to download it. How can a company charge me for something that should be free by all accounts, then fail to deliver on it? Parchment and similar organizations should honestly be made illegal. They are prime examples of exploiting those in unprivileged positions for unearned cash. Additionally: ***************** has also made their unofficial transcript seemingly resistant to being converted to a PDF automatically by a web-app I use.

      Upon graduating from a graduate program, I was informed to utilize parchment.com to order an official transcript. Whether the service is as bad as everyone else has reviewed or not is impossible to determine because I cannot get the webpage past verifying my name. It always gets hung up and does my web browser always indicates the website is crashing my internet. This is obviously a scam on some level. No legitimate business or reputable educational institution should associate with a service for students that either does not follow through with promises, or is inaccessible to clients. I think the BBB should fine this company or pursue legal action to close its practices.

      I was charged for an order they never placed and when I called in and found out, 13 business days after the order was placed, I was met with aggression from the employee and no willingness to complete the action they charged me for. I was simply told to wait for a refund and call my bank if I do not see it. If I had another option to use I would never touch parchment again.

      Parchment should allow for more information to be included on the transcript order. One of my transcripts was listed as "on hold" and they didn't notify me about this. It turned out that the college couldn't locate my transcript. After a million emails and phone calls, I finally reached the registrar at my college. My transcript had been archived, so they couldn't find it initially. If they included the dates you attended the school, it would have been easier for them to know where to look initially, and not state that it didn't match up with my ID. If I hadn't contacted the school, my transcript would have remained on hold and never sent.

      I ordered a transcript to be sent to a university that I plan on transferring to and they put a hold on it because they were confused about a part of my transcript. I do not have a problem with this, what I have a problem with is that they DID NOT TELL ME about this. I had to find out by having the university tell me 2 days before the deadline that they have not received my transcript. After numerous phone calls the university came to the conclusion that my admissions could be affected because of this but I need to just hold on to my parchment receipt with the date it was ordered on in the meantime. This is absolutely unacceptable. This could affect my entire life all because this company that profits from starving college students forking over their money could not do so much as SEND ME AN EMAIL telling me about the hold.

      Regarding DID Number TWZ4YX3P. If I could give this company 0 starsstraight F, I would; unfortunately, I have to give them at least one (1) star. Since January 18, 2023, I have put in 4 requests, once calling the school, where I am requesting my transcript and then contacting their customer support team by email (Case Number: ********). Each time the transcript are approved and sent to my college, 10 minutes later, a status report errors appears: ERROR: Possible Batch, and therefore, downloading the document is not available. since ordering my transcripts, that my transcripts are not getting to the sender. After sending an email to customer support three times, I thought the problem was delivering to college, so I tried it again, having the transcripts sent to me (DID Number TWZ9EGAL), and the same error message appeared. Friday, 01/20/2022, I called Parchment, and they resent the document and once again the same error message appeared. I sent them an email again, begging them to please send the transcript another way, as they were hindering me from entering my collegethis is my last year, and I cant enter without the transcript from my previous college. Per Parchments statement, they provide an award-winning technological platform that delivers I wish I could believe this, as I have not received satisfaction OR A CALL BACKI HAD TO CALL THEM. Since there is very little that anyone can do, as students/parents are at the mercy of Parchmentit seems as though colleges are forcing students to use Parchment, I feel like consumers need to not only take a class action suit against the company, but also bring this to the attention of their state and federal governments. They are doing very little to provide a solution.
