1 starI would give them negative Stars if possible so they only get one. Star. They are completely disorganized, their call center calls you confirming appointments unnecessarily. They do not respect autonomy. The call center argues and debates. They have a hard time or reluctance to follow directions. I asked to speak to a supervisor they Place me on hold for an extended time and spoke on my behalf instead of following my explicit instructions. This is a completely unprofessional organization, lacking organizational skills.Review fromBrian W

1 starThere billing department is criminal. They exploit people with mental illnesses by telling them they are **vered by insurance while they are not and then expect them to **ver all the expenses after not being billed for as many as 8 months. My bill is in the thousands of dollars when it should have been a 10 dollar ** pay for a visit every 4 weeks. My health care provider also OKed me to be administering my on inter muscular shots when a health care provider, such as a nurse, really should do that. They are a disgusting provider to see. Seek an ******************!!!Review fromCatherine K

1 starAVOID, AVOID , AVOID! SHADY! To say this company is a mess and doesnt have it together is an understatement. I agree with other reviews that this is just straight up FRAUD! I have been going to lifestance for 9 months only because my current therapist transferred and I followed her. I was JUST told after 9 months that my insurance doesnt cover my appointments and they slapped me with an OVERDUE GOING TO COLLECTION $4000 bill. WHAT?! When I called the billing department no one could tell me why I havent been notified for 9 months or why I havent even received a statement in 9 months. If I would have known my appointments were not covered(if its even coded correctly) I would have stopped or switched therapists. Never in all my years of procedures, appointments, specialists and hospital stays has it taken anyone 9 months to get me a bill or tell me my insurance doesnt cover. Heck, pharmacies can tell you in 10 minutes whether they accept your insurance. It doesnt make any sense. Im trying to get everything sorted now and have no answers. Im always on hold and I work all day with clientswhat am I supposed to do?? This company doesnt give 2 flying flips about patient care. Its all about money. Unfortunately for me if they do send this to collections I could potentially lose my job so I am stressed out and no one cares or is willing to help give me some answers. DO NOT USE LIFESTANCEReview fromStacie W

1 starNever never never use this practice. They are so fraudulent. I am in the process of filing a legal complaint with the state. I was told over a year ago one cost of out of pocket treatment. We went to several appointments and paid that amount without any issue. I then got a bill 6 months later for a bill 4 TIMES that amount. I have been fighting ever since, and no one EVER gets back to you. I sit on hold for hours. I work all day, how the heck am I supposed to sit on hold and wait. Oh, don't use their "convenient feature" to be called back, they won't call back. There is a law about transparency in billing. This is straight up FRAUD. They keep saying that they are looking into it. Here we are at a year. I am tired of waiting. I am reporting them to the state. Done! I am also contacting a lawyer for a Cease and Desist. I don't owe you, I am not going to pay you, leave me alone and stop trying to rip people off!!! Do not go here, there are honest and better doctors out there.Review fromAnn W

1 starAvoid Lifestance! Their billing practices are exasperating. I spent dozens of hours over a year and a half asking Lifestance to acknowledge my insurance. Instead, they withdrew random, excessive amounts from my credit card account which they insisted having on file. I repeatedly asked Billing to refund their overcharge. After five months of getting empty promises to escalate my case, I posted a complaint online. Within 24 hours a Lifestance representative contacted me, and four weeks later I had my refund. They seemed much more responsive to an online complaint, than the pleading of a needy patient. After nearly two years of exasperating administrative hassles with Lifestance, I do not trust them and will not do business with them again.Review fromGEORGIA R

1 starIf you care anything about your personal health or your family do not use this company. It is a joke and they will make you jump off a bridge trying to get through thier joke of a scheduling line. I drove from Noman OK to ***, ** which is 40 minutes and then brought the phone in the house and remained on hold for another 20 minutes and was in tears by the time I got any help. People have enough problems without adding to the frustration of getting help from this company. The also have charged me for appointments that never happened. That were rescheduled. Also, you have to cancel within 48 hours or you get charged but you can't get anyone on the phone to reschedule the appointment. They tell you to visit the portal to schedule appointments but the ONLY thing that works on the portal is the ability to pay a bill. This company is fraudulant and I don't know how they get any clients and you can't get out of the horrible nightmare of their customer service and systems inefficiency. This place is a nightmare. Avoid it all costs if you want help for yourself or your family. You won't get it here. It will make you commit suicide!Review fromSa F

1 starThis company is a mess. First of all, they had a massive data breach that leaked all client information and did not communicate that in a timely manner at all. Secondly, they are straight up fraudulent. They do not know how to process billing and insurance paymentsand will try to send you to collections for their mistake. If you try to fix it, good luck actually getting someone to answer the phone. Additionally, they bill for therapy for every visit in which you see the psychiatrist for a med refill. Less than 2 minutes speaking with anyone after a typical wait of one hour past visit time, and they bill the highest level of service for a medical visit AND a therapy visit. Do not get yourself entangled in their web. STAY AWAY!Review fromJoel B

1 starI was referred to Lifestance by my PCM to address my anxiety following a cancer diagnosis in April 2022. There were 3 sessions - April, May and June of 2022. I just received a bill from Lifestance (15 months after the last session) and was informed that my bill was over 120 days old would be referred to Collections. I tried contacting their ****************** and was put on an endless hold.Review fromAntoinette M

1 starIf I could give a zero I would, I do not see them as health care friendly. They are a corporation, with no knowledge of patient care.I have experience bad patient phone service, not being able to call anyone direct, it's always. "someone will call you back", which is not always a convenient time. The wait time can be up to an hour, and the phone calls are directed to a call center, not an health care office. The amount of my bill is always an issue, because in one day I have had three different quotes of what I owe. Also I had a ***** increase one time, and no one could explain how. I was charged a no show of ****** fee, even after I tried to call, but the call was not documented.I also noticed on occasions that I have called and my phone calls were not documented.I was sent an email outright, not through the, patient portal that included sensitive and confidential information, my HIPPA rights were violated. This has to be the most unprofessional, uncaring health care company, in it operated by people who have no knowledge or compassion for health care.Review fromJennifer B

1 starMy 16 year old daughter was connected with a psychiatric nurse practitioner who prescribed SSRIs for anxiety/depression. This was done through telehealth without a comprehensive intake/ evaluation and no continued follow-up. Emails were her preferred mode of communication and care. The nurse practitioner never contacted me for family medical history, she only took information from her father and this is illegal in MA. She cut corners and simply medicated for a symptoms without an appropriate intake, background information or medical history. The medication caused my daughters mental health to decline rapidly. The nurse practitioner was not available for appointments during crisis and only communicated via email. She seemed unaware of the adolescent development and normalized suicidal and impulsive behaviors that did not exist before she prescribed the medication. She continued to switch meds, and change doses via email. There were intermittent appointments every few months, where she only spoke with my 16 year old and did not ask for parent input, what we were noticing or if we had concerns. We were warned not to discontinue the medication without her permission. My daughter was hospitalized after a suicide attempt. Lifestance refused to communicate with the practitioners at the psych hospital my daughter was placed. The nurse was unavailable for coordination of care, or to explain her Dx and prescriptions. Lifestance scheduled a follow up visit for my 16 year old, about 50 days from the time during acute crisis, there 1st available. Leaving us scrambling to find a psychiatrist to to support her discharge transition. This is not an organization concerned with your health. When I canceled the 50 day later appointment, I received an email from the psychiatric nurse that simply said, "you have to call this number to cancel and "I hope" my daughter is doing better. She will be doing much better now that we are not dealing with Lifestance. They don't care about you
