They have no new input regarding my condition and they asked several times for my religious beliefs.

This place is a SCAM! They will lie to you over and over and over again about providing basic customer service and never apologize for wasting your time, and stealing your money. My visit was covered by my health insurance but was forced to pay out of pocket. I have a credit that they refuse to send to me. This has been over 1 year!! Every time I call I speak to someone new who pretends to have no notes or prior information on our case. I have pleaded with them desperately to return our money but they continue to lie. Lifestance Palm Harbor is full of LIARS who deserve to be reported for fraudulent business practices.

Don't use this company. They prioritize money over patient care, and their cancellation policy is inflexible. You're charged a penalty of $100-$175 for cancelling within 48 business hours, or for being late to an appointment. Even with prior notice, being 13 minutes late resulted in a $175 no-show fee. The repeated charges and lack of follow-up triggered anxiety and made therapy worse. The psychiatrist was unhelpful, pushing medications with side effects and offering no connection. The therapist often disagreed with their approach, and communication between them was lacking. When I canceled all my sessions with no notice, the therapist sent me a message. I didnt log in soon enough to see it and they removed themselves from my care team and no one ever followed up. This company lacks compassion and is not suitable for people with anxiety and depression.

Horrible billing department. Have appointments from 2022 that have never been billed to insurance. They say I owe them close to $1500 yet, they won't file the claims. They make random charges to my credit card, despite being asked to delete the card on file. The billing department is never reachable, they do not return messages sent through the online portal. I've been dealing with a billing nightmare since 10/2022. I was denied service due to my outstanding balance, but the office will not file the claims, return my calls or messages. I don't even know where to proceed from here. I am thinking of filing a complaint with the No Surprises Act. I am terminating my relationship with this practice immediately.

I can attest to the validity of everyone's complaints below as to how horrible the billing side is of this shady company that is that ironically exisits to help people. The therapist is wonderful, but the admin side is sleazy. They ***** a compromised clientele with extreme charges if you late cancel or simply forget. We were charged almost 400 which is typically a ***** co-pay. Tried to call billing for an explanation and after listening to music for more than 3 hours hung up. After leaving several messages they called back and said to bad, you signed a contract. You would think there would be forgiveness for the first time, but no. What is most perplexing is that if we are getting charged ****** because we did not show up in the chat room, shouldn't the therapist AT LEAST attempt to call or text you? It is their time that is being billed for and they should sever the client by trying to reach them. On the first charge, my wife DID text her to reschedule and was still charged. Again, no phone call to warn just HOW MUCH that charge would be as we were new. I don't care how much they say you agree to it. Who really reads the fine print when you are simply seeking help. Also, I signed ny wife up as English is her second language and she is on meds too, so she did not actually agree to this technically. We simply could not find a local and in person therapist. Avoid this company at ALL costs if possible.

My therapist was wonderful however I have been trying to resolve a billing issue with LifeStance Health since January 2023. My insurance paid 100% . I've sent them the *** information several times but they charged my credit card 3/27/23 AFTER I sent them the information in writing. I have been trying to get a credit for three weeks and they continue to say they are checking into it. This is not acceptable.

My doctor was ***************************. She is the worst. There is a shortage for adderall and everyone knows that. The last time they ran out of meds she prescribed me an alternative until adderall was back in stock. Now that its out again, she refuses to prescribe and alternative and I have been without my medince for over a month now. So because I requested an alternative she sends me the following message: Subject RE: Portal Message Patient xxxxx Message Unfortunately, it sounds like we no longer have a doctor-patient relationship where we can communicate safely about medications. Our doctor-patient relationship should be concluded. I will be available to you for 30 days for emergencies so you can transition to another doctor. ----Original Message------------------------------------- I didn't call 2 pharmacies near me. I called CVS, Rite ************** and Giant Eagle where they all checked other locations and no one has anything in stock. They told me they don't understand why doctors are putting their patients through this when no one has it. This is frustrating because no I haven't had my medicine in a week now because you refuse to believe them or me -------------------------Original Message--------------------- Hello Is there another pharmacy near you that I can send the Adderall prescription to? I understand you have called some pharmacies but without a prescription there they may not be able to tell you if they have Adderall in stock. The next best option is to identify another pharmacy I can send the Adderall prescription to.So she uses me requesting an alternative as a reason to terminate treating me.

Massively overcharging for services! I have been seeing the same psychiatrist for about 5 years and she has charged $150 for a 25 minute medication management appointment (CPT code *****). Last year the practice she works for became part of Lifestance. Now that Lifestance is the owner/operator of the practice, I am being billed $240 for the same 25 minute appointment. My insurance will cover $147.54 leaving me with a bill for the remainder out-of-pocket. It would have been helpful for Lifestance to provide a notification about their billing practices and rates when they took over the existing medical practice. I wouldn't have had the shock of the new bill amount.

DISGUSTING practices. AVOID AVOID AVOID before you find a therapist or psychiatrist you love. I HATE LifeStance health's customer service **************** but stay because I love my therapist & psychiatrist. The second they move, I'm following them.My first experience with their cancellation fee ($175) was due to my massive confusion over a cancellation email I got out of nowhere that my weekly recurring meetings with my therapist were updated for the week after my initial appointment. I didn't get an explanation as to why or what was going on, but I didn't dig in further as I figured my therapist had a conflict. Turns out, I was still scheduled for that week. Despite explaining my confusion, they wouldn't budge. Whatever, my *********** is worth more than fighting with their sleazy customer service teams, so I paid it to get on with my life.A few months later, my company had massive layoffs and I got a jury notice for a MURDER TRIAL at the last minute because it went to an old address. I was no longer seeing my therapist weekly, and with all the stuff going on, my mind was in a million places. I BEGGED for some leniency with a 24 hour notice, explaining my situation and they did not give one f***. Thankfully, after letting the court attendant know my situation, the judge PLANNED A BREAK FOR EVERYONE SO I COULD GO TO THERAPY! #blessthem After my 2nd experience, I made a calendar event 3 days before my appointments (since their reminder email is conveniently 24 hours before...LMAO they don't even hide how shady they are). A few weeks later, I emailed 3 business days in advance that I needed to reschedule my appointment. I then get the dreaded 24 reminder email & follow up telling me NOT to charge me the fee. Instead, I get some whack a** passive aggressive email that they tried to call me to reschedule. That's cute...my bank would think it's cute too so they backed off. Which is pathetic I had to threaten a chargeback to be treated with any decency.

I have now dealt with more than 3 billing problems with this company and not once has it been properly resolved despite my multiple attempts to address them. I have received no call backs, no apologies and no resolution. They (the billing department) have repeatedly tried to charge $200 - $400 per visit despite the fact that I do not have a deductible and both of the providers Ive seen are in network with my insurance. I have also reached out to my insurance company who informed me that they have not received a single claim from Lifestance or any of the providers since Ive started seeing them in February. There is obviously something very wrong going on here, and its gotten to the point that I had to remove my credit card information from their system and my fathers to avoid automatically being charged. I would also urge everyone else to do the same as this is fraudulent behavior, especially if theyre not billing your insurance company even though theyre telling you they have. Its unfortunate because the providers I see there have been fantastic thus far but this billing department is a joke and needless to say incredibly problematic. Theyre clearly taking advantage of people
