      Horrible! They have raised their prices and at no point notified me of this. I wasn't notified when I made the appointment, nor during the appointment. When I received a bill it was 3 times what I normally paid. When I called to resolve this issue I was told I would be contacted by email. After a week I received an email that was just the original bill with no other information. I was then scheduled for another appointment without my consent and when I was notified it was outside of business hours and the next business day was less than 24 hours so they proceeded to charge me a cancellation fee. When I spoke with their office manager she lied and tried to tell me she had told me many times before regarding their changes. This never happened as I had not spoken with her before this point. This is the highest level of scamming and is outrageous! Do not ever use this business!

      Terrible service. Terrible portal. I am chasing and chasing a check over $1,000 that was received and cashed in February. I did not have the money. I did what I needed to receive a ***** only to have it disappear. My prior psych did not know how to properly fill out disability forms which delayed my payment during a bad time. I could not afford a $20 fee to have them fill out paperwork and so I was told I just wouldn't be able to get help. It's very typical mental health care system stuff here. No actual care for people. I do believe they scam folks. I would not recommend this organization. They need a MAJOR overhaul internally. Sometimes their phone system goes down completely or you wait on a line to speak to billing for 1.5 hrs to no avail.

      Beyond frustrated with the billing department and getting any resolution. My two daughters have been seeing the same psychiatrist for a year and a half. I called multiple times, can't get through. I emailed a few times through their portal. I just spent 3 hours reviewing all the bills from 2021 and out of 165 lines of billing, 92 were billed incorrectly as OUT OF NETWORK. They have been seing the same therapist since October of 2021. WTF? How can you bill half the time as in network and the other half out of network? I now have a bill of over 11k which I will NOT be paying since they can't seem to get their act together and bill this correctly. Ridiculously frustrating and the company is the worst. The therapists are terrific.

      I was overcharged for my copays repeatedly, and had to chase to have the amount refunded - they didn't refund all of it but claim that they did, so that money just went into a black hole. Getting someone to answer the phone in billing is impossible, and so is getting anyone to reply to emails in billing. I sent an email requesting a review of the situation over three weeks ago and nobody replied. I've given up and accepted that the money will never be refunded, but this is really unacceptable.

      If I could give this company a zero that is what they deserve. Do not ever go to this company for any service. My husband went to LifeStance for TMS treatments. I initially paid $12,500 for the 36 treatments because my insurance denied coverage. I filed an appeal with insurance and the insurance company agreed to pay. To make a long story short. The insurance company paid for all 36 treatments, but LifeStance refuses to refund my money. LifeStance has been paid twice for the treatments I received, once by the insurance and once by me. I was originally told by LifeStance that they would not refund my money until insurance paid them. Of course, they make more money by charging me rather than the contracted insurance price. The last treatment was December 13, 2022. It has been 3 months and insurance has paid them. I confirmed this with the insurance company. The insurance company has requested they pay me. I have asked multiple times for reimbursement of the $12,500 I paid them. Every time I am told that someone will call me back. The last time I emailed them, the response I received was "it is not a credit on the account it is used for TMS Thank You Billing Collection Coordinator". It wasn't even good English. And my account at the time showed a credit. I think they scam people. I don't think it is legal to get paid twice for medical services. And they are doing everything they can to not reimburse me after they have been paid by insurance. Do not use them. I saw one of the other reviews on here say that it takes hours to reach the billing department. That is 100% true. And when you do, they don't do anything they tell you they will. Beware.

      Billed me over a year after services that I paid in full for. Absolutely ridiculous and won't return calls or answer their phones.

      This company is a mess when it comes to refunding money. They were billing me incorrectly and waiting for a refund and nothing. It is March 2023 and I filed this claim back in September of 2022. Their billing department is an absolute mess and always transferring me to another line. Always filled with excuses and I am disgusted with the lack of accountability with company has.Therapy is great but I would look else where because this billing department does not care about their clients. Quick to get payments but slow to give a refund especially when there is proof that the code was added incorrectly.

      My experience after 3 visits is exactly the same as the pattern outlined in the description. I'm being billed the full amount of the services rendered despite assurance that my insurance info has been taken and that I am covered. Their billing department takes hours to reach.

      The poor review is due to the administrative/billing side. The therapist I saw was actually fantastic. But the experience with billing was nightmare enough that I am going to move on to another office/therapist. After my first appointment, my card was charged without a statement being sent or provided. My insurance was also never billed. So I have no idea if the bill was even accurate. I attempted to reach out to their billing department by both messages and phone calls. My messages all went unanswered. The first time I called, the line said to call back during normal business hours (it was 2pm on a Monday, no Holiday). They did not have a voicemail and the line just hung up on me. The next time I called, I was on hold for almost an hour. The estimated wait time never changed, always just "Your wait time is over 30 minutes". I spoke a couple times to their reception staff when I couldn't get ahold of billing. They were actually quite helpful, and I honestly felt bad for them. They said that they had recently been bought out by LifeStance. And they had been getting a lot of calls from people having similar experiences to mine. Looking at other reviews, a lot of them are very similar to the issues I had. At this point, my insurance still hasn't been billed and I still have not had a response. The only message I have had from them was regarding a declined payment this week from my credit card. And the funny thing is, I had tried to contact them last week about that. And since I never heard back from them, I was never even given the opportunity to update the information. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for mental health services. Because I'm assuming that anyone seeking that kind of care doesn't need that kind of added stress.

      Wish I could give 0 stars. Referred to this provider by my sons PCP. How I wish Id never met/known of them!! You can never get through for a cancel or reschedule. So when you no show they bill you anyway. Happened twice. Even upon calling to pay my 2 no-shows, Im holding over 30 mins just to get through!! Tried diff times, diff. times of day. They dont give a single care about people. This is a business front only. Pretending to be a place that provides care to ppl who really need it. Dont waste your time. Should be a crime to be this shady.
